This is one of our favorite places for a girl's day out!!! The shopping at Charlene's l, then the amazing food here! It's a must! When you walk in you are instantly surrounded by beautiful decor that makes you feel like you are in Southern plantation home! It's gorgeous. The staff is so friendly! Everything on the menu is good, but the specials are hands down divine! The chicken spaghetti is what was on special the day we were there! I probably could have had a whole extra plate of it! The cherry salad on the side! Yum yum yum! Okay! The dessert! This is a whole conversation of its own! I mean I could eat dessert twice. After the meal, then shop again, then dessert again! It's that good!! I normally get the chocolate cake, but this time I went with the limoncello cake! Holy Moly! There are no words! Just order it. You won't be sorry.

Outside entryway of the restaurant. Cute place!

Taken here recently as part of a group. Not a big fan of the old school tea rooms of last century…read morebut this place is clearly for the downtown and Courthouse crowds. Salads are large, creative, and tasty. So are the desserts--everyone wanted the pecan cobbler. Almond tea was another huge hit. . They serve up a decent (yet overlooked) burger for us lads but service was great and everyone was happy. Classic modern south setting, and good food. Why not?

Haven't been here in years so decided to stop in. 2 large groups had just been seated and finished ordering when I sat down. Service was OK despite the big groups. Glad my small order got in before there's as I had finished eating when they bought the last plate to one of them. Food however, meh, just so so. I believe their sandwich plates are better than their meats & 2. The country ham was very good, tender and flavorful. The cornbread was not as they gave me a roll, guess they didn't have cornbread. The peas, well, canned, and on a large leaf of lettuce? The greens, canned. If you're going to advertise a hot lunch special, and it's limited to only 1 meat and specific veggies, seems like you would cook them as homemade vs straight from the can. The guy playing the piano at lunch was nice. Definitely a 'fu fu' place.

A Treasure Trove! I…read morelove to shop the unique items that these Ladies offer. I am happy to support community charitable organizations by donating or making a purchase, but I always leave the Woman's Exchange with several "just right" gifts that I wouldn't have thought of. & I thoroughly enjoy the Luncheon. Beef Tenderloin seems to be everyone's favorite. & The Desserts are too good to pass up. Their Cookbook is the best resource for "real food" & Party Favorites that will never lose their culinary appeal. & It's only $8.95!

Both the dining room and the gift shop are volunteer-run by some of the nicest ladies in Memphis. I enjoyed Steak Tips with gravy on mashed potatoes with salad, a roll, desser, and a beverage. The food was as good as the last time I ate here in 2013. I also like that gift shop purchases help Southern women get ahead financially with products from clothing, crafts, to food products. I bought a delightful cats and dogs themed travel mug that keeps cold and warm beverages at temperatures for hours. It's well worth a stop for both lunch and shopping in Memphis.
