If I could give zero stars, I would. This isn't personal - everyone I interacted with at Just Cruisin' was always friendly and professional. However... the purpose of a travel agent is to avoid issues, or when issues arise, they are there to fix the problem. Hence, the One Star review.
The story is too long to spell out, but the bottom line is that I...ME...MYSELF...not Just Cruisin', noticed a pretty significant financial error in the booking. I had to insist the owner (Charlie) get involved to perform what amounted to a forensic audit and what do you know, I was over charged to the tune of $1,200. Neither RCI nor Just Cruisin' owned up to the mistake and I ended up with a future cruise credit (FCC) in the amount of the error (FCC are not eligible for refunds, of course). To make matters way worse, the FCC had to be used within 6 months of the original cruise or it would be forfeited. So RCI and Just Cruisin' expected me and my family to cruise twice in one year, and neither organization took ownership of the mistake.
I...ME...MYSELF, found upgraded cabins available and asked Just Cruisin' to rebook my family which ate up the FCC. Just Cruisin' did not offer solutions, did not offer to refund the booking error, they did nothing other than confirm that yes, and error had been made.
The fact they received a commission on my booking when I...ME...MYSELF did all the work is a hard pill to swallow. My "agent" literally did no work but is enjoying a commission. Maybe being a travel agent should be my side-Hussle? Pretty easy gig apparently.
Did Just Cruisin' reach out to me before or after my cruise??? You already know the answer.
Useless and Unnecessary, that is Just Cruisin'. read more
