After visiting multiple shops at the SF Jewelry Center, including several from whom I had purchased other jewelry prior, choosing JUST BANDS for my 20th anniversary ring was the best decision I could have made. From the beginning, working with Ashley was a fun, collaborative process. She was consistently patient and down to earth in discussing all my ideas and her honest feedback and extensive experience helped me consider pros and cons, narrow down choices, and ultimately finalize the setting style for my new center stone. At that point, she began the custom design process, shared proposal images via email and made changes after I requested modifications to the prongs, etc. Once the platinum setting was fabricated, my husband and I brought our stone and Raffi ensured their in-house diamond setter completed the ring the same day! He also showed us how to view the GIA inscription via microscope. Overall it was a wonderful experience to partner with Just Bands in the end to end creative process for the most important jewelry of my life. Tremendous thanks to the entire team for exemplary courtesy and professionalism. read more

I've had multiple items made by Just Bands but nothing could have prepared me for how spectacular my engagement ring would turn out. I worked with Andre to design this ring to look similar to the Soleste ring by Tiffany & Co. and truthfully my ring turned out better than all the rings I tried on at Tiffany & Co. and it was very affordable. I can't believe I was able to get a custom made ring that looks like this for the price we paid! This ring is perfection. Absolute perfection! This ring would have easily cost $30,000-$40,000 at Tiffany & Co. and it wouldn't have been as pretty. I couldn't be any happier with the end result and I love that it's a custom ring that no one else has. The Tiffany & Co. Soleste ring is constantly being posted on eBay. Tons of people have it. No one has mine! read more

I had the most wonderful experience at this store and am in love with my wedding ring! The customer service was hands down the best I have experienced at any ring store. Ashley was amazing and sooo helpful! I also just really enjoyed chatting with her! I never felt at all rushed and she spent hours helping me find the perfect ring. I had initially purchased a band from another store and after a nightmare experience there, I was dreading to have to go through the process again, but Just Bands made the process stress free and fun - as it should be! Ashley even stayed an hour late after the store closed just so that I could pick up my ring in time for the holidays. I would highly recommend Just Bands and Ashley! Amazing experience and store. read more

First and foremost my ring is BEYOND BEAUTIFUL. My fiancé did an incredible job in choosing/designing with Andre. I thank Andre and his team for the their brilliant work and professionalism. I took my ring in to get resized and cleaned, and I didn't think my ring could be even more PERFECT! Now, I cannot wait for my band :DD If you are considering going here, DO IT! I am not a "Yelper" but I had to share this place with everyone and anyone! Thank you guys :D read more

My mom is a professional jeweler and certified gemologist and has been coming to Raffi for years. She has brought my cousins and uncles to buy rings here and they've all been happy with their experience. So, when my boyfriend, now fiance, wanted to look at rings, I knew Raffi was our man! I'm so glad that we did because my ring is seriously a DREAM come true. I met with Raffi twice and both times, he sat with me for over an hour while I insisted on looking at every setting and every diamond he had. The second time, I brought Raffi a picture of the type of ring style that I liked and he was able to customize it down to the millimeter. The picture I showed him was a fairly expensive setting and Raffi was able to make something very similar for half the price. He also found the most perfect center diamond that was able to match what we wanted in color, cut, clarity, etc... All of the guys here are super friendly and willing to help. Raffi has gone above and beyond so many times to help us and my family and we're so happy to continue doing business with them. My mom and I would definitely refer any of our friends to Raffi and Andre over at Just Bands! read more

All this place carries are bands - Doobie Brothers, The Eagles, Allman Brothers... You name a 70s rock band they've got it. Oh wait, I mean they carry wedding bands. (Psst! That's not really all they carry - only about 1/2 their cases are dedicated to bands.) The brother sister team here are really nice. The sister suggested I get a custom designed band to fit my unusually shaped engagement ring, and gave me the best price on it for the day. (Another jeweler ended up matching it and I went with him, but most places in the Jewelry Mart said they'd make a custom band for $300-$500 above Just Band's price). Unfortunately, although they carried a lot of wedding bands for guys they just didn't have a great selection that appealed to the boyfriend, and all he's looking for is something simple. They did have this cool puzzle band though shaped like a puzzle piece that comes apart. read more

My former boss introduced me to Just Bands. She is in her 60s and her father used to do business with them twenty years ago. This is a solid business I highly recommend. With Just Bands you get everything: - second generation family business with their own manufacturer in the building (surprisingly, very few shops in the Gift Center have that) - unparalleled personal attention - I went back five times before I finalized my ring design - access to a nationwide network of diamond sellers so you can have a unique stone that fits your personality and style, not just pick one of the pre-made rings for a quick sale - Just Bands ordered three different stones for me to look at from dealers throughout the country. I did not want a standard diamond cut and most of the other shops within the Gift Center told me that what I was looking for does not exist. Just Bands found three stones within the US and said there is a fourth one in Brussels they could order if one of the first three does not work out. - down to earth, human, kind, no pressure treatment from both Ashley and Raffi. Creating your own ring is such a personal experience and a life milestone, for me it was important not to just love the end result (which I do), but to also have good memories of how it came together. If you are intimidated by the idea of getting an engagement ring (like I was), I suggest Just Bands is the first place you visit in the Gift Center. You won't be disappointed. read more

I went to the Gift Center with my fiance recently to find my engagement ring. After a few hours, the ring settings all started looking the same and most of the sales associates didn't engage us further than "let me know if you see anything you want to try on", until we were greeted by Ashley of Just Diamonds. She was very professional and knowledgeable, actually listened to what I wanted and was able to pick out a few pieces that fit my preferences. In addition to that, she gave us a very informative discussion on options for the center stone as well as pros and cons of white gold vs platinum (they do free polishing and rhodium replating for jewelry purchased at their store). While I've ultimately decided on a ring sold by another establishment, Just Diamonds gets five stars for the customer service. Perhaps we'll be back for our wedding bands or an anniversary gift in the future. read more

I went to Just Bands to get an engagement ring for my fiancee and had a wonderful experience. What really sets Just Bands apart from the other jewelers I met is the customer service and pricing. I worked with Ashley throughout the process and she was patient, creative, and, most importantly, honest. I wanted a custom ring that incorporated design elements from rings I'd seen online and Ashley did a great job of doing just that. I really appreciated how she gave me suggestions and, at one point, she even emailed me a sketch of something she thought would make the ring look better! After sketching the ring on paper and drawing it out on the computer, she had her team quickly make a wax mold that helped me see what the ring would really look like. When I wanted to make changes to the mold, she was took everything in stride! Prior to making the setting she asked me a lot of detailed questions about things that I hadn't even considered and walked me through the pros/cons of making the ring a certain way. Once we finished this step, it was about 2 weeks until I got the ring, completely finished, in my hands. I think it would have been even faster, but I asked for a last minute change after the ring had been made (but prior to setting the stone). For all of the hard work and effort Ashley put in, I would have expected to pay a lot more than I did. Just Bands' quote for the ring, minus the stone, was at least 25% less that what others had quoted. My fiancee loved the ring and I recently went back to Just Bands to get an appraisal for insurance purposes. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, especially given that I knew nothing about rings going into process! read more

I'd like to lobby Yelp to add a sixth star, specifically for this review... My fiancee didn't want one of those super-sparkly horrible diamond-studded bands that seem to be all the rage these days, and instead found a beautiful carved ring on eBay. Sadly she didn't win the auction, so plan B was to look around the Jewelery Mart. Store after store didn't have what we wanted until we got to Just Bands. These guys said they could make it and the price they quoted was very reasonable. The wax mold looked amazing (ended up being hand-carved because it was too complex for the computer to do) and the finished product was just as great... except too big. Once again John and Andre stepped up to the plate, and agreed to have it re-done. The result is absolutely perfect. All in all Just Bands have proved to be a standout business to work with. The jewelry business can be a tough one to deal with, filled with sharks and shysters. Honestly, do yourself a favor, skip the agony of shopping around and go straight to these guys. read more

I love Andre and John. My hubby and I originally came to Just for Bands based on the incredible Yelp reviews to find a good wedding band for hubby before our wedding. Andre and John went above and beyond for us. They made hubby's ring. When we came in, it didn't look exactly like we wanted (hubby is very picky). So, they changed the buffed look to a polished one. Hubby went in again and then said the ring wasn't domed enough. They changed it AGAIN. Then, we took the ring home and it was a little too loose on hubby. So, he went back. In fact, John and Andre kept the business open TWO HOURS beyond closing time to accommodate hubby's work schedule and fix the ring right then onsite. They are amazing. And how much did they charge for these changes? NOTHING. I am so happy with their service. Everyone should use them. read more

My partner and I wanted simple but elegant wedding bands for our same- sex marriage. We felt uncomfortable in mall stores mixed in with all the giggling young straight couples. The guys at Just Bands made us feel very comfortable and showed us a large variety of styles. Then they were able to make just what we wanted in their own shop for a fraction of a designer price. The rings were made right on time and were beautiful. However, they messed up on the engraving and put the quotes on the wrong rings. They were upset that they had screwed up, and went out of their way to fix them. They removed the wrong engraving and did it correctly in a weeks time. Overall, despite the mistake, we were very pleased with this shop and can recommend them. read more

My then-fiance/now-husband and I came here for our wedding bands. We actually had no idea what we wanted. He wanted something simple, and I just wanted to get a ring on him. They had a pretty big selection of rings but weren't much help in choosing one. Then again, it was kind of our decision, so I'm sure they were just staying out of it. One thing that they did help with is the sizing. They told us to remember that fingers swell with heat and shrink with the cold and so to be mindful of that. It happened to be a really hot day (by SF standards) so it was a good thing to keep in mind. In the end, our rings fit really well. Something that I really wish they did better was communication. They, no doubt, make good rings. But communication isn't their forte. When we talked about the engravings, we told them A if there is enough space, B if there isn't. They actually never told us what they ended up going with. We just found out when the rings were done. On another occasion, I sat around for about 1 1/2 hours, waiting for them to resize my ring. They had told me it would take 30min. Then, when it was finally done, they told me I would get a discount if I brought cash. Great. You could have told me that 1 1/2 hours ago. So then I had to leave, find an ATM and come back. Granted, neither of these are deal breakers. But it's little things like this that made the experience less great. The price was great. We paid about $1000 for both our rings. Keep in mind they are very simple platinum bands. One odd thing is that the building is secure. Like you have to check in and everything, which means you need an appointment. I'm actually not really sure why, but just fyi. All in all, we are happy with our rings, and I would suggest that anyone looking for rings at least gives these guys a look. read more

I found out today that we were one of this place's first 100 customers and even now that their customer count is in the thousands, this place hasn't changed one bit. Wifey came in and got both our weddings bands cleaned and brushed up and even though she wasn't buying, they still treated her like royalty. We haven't seen these guys for years but they chat with you like it's been just yesterday. Good folks running an honest and quality business. You can't ask for anything more than that. On a night when my steak arrived 15 minutes before my baked potato at Black Angus and all I got was a measley slice of cheesecake for my dining pain, it's nice to know that there are still people like John and Rafi at Just bands who know how to do customer service old school style. I don't know how much storage space Yelp has, but I could seriously go on for hours about how great these guys are. I feel almost lucky to have chanced upon them after having been recommended to another jeweler in the SF Gift Center (who shall remain unnamed) who treated us like we were wasting their time. So glad we spent our money at Just Bands instead. It went a HELL of a longer way than it would have at the other place, and we made a relationship for life with an honest business. If I could give six stars, I would to this place! read more

I'd been searching for that right ring for months. I felt as if I had visited every reputable online vendor as well as chased down all my friends recommendations. Finding Just Bands on Yelp, I finally decided to check them out. Best wedding decision I've made to date. Andre was amazing patient (I think I visited them on 4 separate occasions) and listed to me yack on and on about the type of ring my girlfriend was looking for. He looked at every sample ring picture I brought and even listened to one of my girlfriend's best friends talk about her tastes. Andre gave me great suggestions that were all in my price range. Just Bands never made me feel it was about the money but rather about the experience. In the end, Andre helped me build my dream ring from all my various inputs. My fiance couldn't have been happier with it. "I never thought I would ever have a ring this beautiful." - My Fiance Thank you Andre and Just Bands. read more

Amazing. About a year ago my man proposed with the most beautiful ring I've ever seen. Platinum, Lucinda setting, a few diamonds along the side featuring the most beautiful dark pink stone in the center. I don't know how soon to be hubby and Just Bands managed to read my mind site unseen but this engagement ring is absolutely perfect. Fast forward, 1 year later and we go back to look at wedding bands. Mind you I've not met anyone in the store yet but the absolute second I walked in and they saw the engagement ring they all rushed over to ask me how I liked it and all said that they remembered the ring well. How cool is that? I felt like a celebrity. Anyway, I knew exactly what I wanted for my wedding ring and surprise surprise, I wanted to have matching pink stones and diamonds alternate in a thin platinum band. Andre helped me pick out the right band and then kept my engagement ring for a few days because he wanted to make sure to absolutely match the color. I picked up my ring yesterday and it is absolutely beautiful and the colors match exactly. I am so excited about wearing my wedding ring, it is so beautiful and "exactly" what I pictured. Lifetime guarantee on all the work and they'll clean it anytime we want. Takes 45 mins. They worked us in on weekends, and Andre called me multiple times to give me updates on the rings as they worked. Oh, I have to mention prices. I walked in here excited to drop some cash on my guy's wedding ring and he ended up getting exactly what he wanted for half the cost of what I was expecting to pay! Metals are priced by the gram and it's an amazing deal. The recap, incredible customer service, high end product, beautiful custom pieces, and great prices. Thank you Andre, John and Just Bands. This was by far my favorite stop on the train ride of wedding planning. read more

Wow! Knocked my socks off. I stopped by here on a Friday at 11:30am without an appointment to see about getting my engagement ring re-sized. I thought I'd have to hand over the ring for several days -- maybe even a week -- but Andre insisted that they could do it much more quickly, usually in a day or two. Great! So Andre properly sized my ring finger, took possession of the ring, and said he'd call on Monday when it was done -- after apologizing that it wouldn't be done sooner since they don't process rings over the weekend. At 3:00pm **THE SAME DAY** Andre called saying that I could come pick up the ring any time. WOW! And it was less expensive than I had anticipated. We don't have wedding bands yet, so I think I've found where we'll be purchasing them. Thanks, Andre! read more

My fiance and I had a last minute wedding. We'd been engaged for almost a year and just decided we couldn't wait anymore. I told my guy that I would not marry him if he didn't have a wedding band for himself. We found Just Bands through Yelp and they were fantastic! We just showed up one afternoon and called them when we were outside the door. Andre welcomed us in even though they were closing up. He let my guy take his time and try on rings. He gave us a great price on a platinum band which he sold by weight. He was able to size the ring in one day. He also re-rhodeum plated my white gold engagement ring and polished it for free!! They even resized my hubby's ring after the wedding when he realized he chose a size that was too large (he had two scares where he thought he lost it). They did it for free with no attitude. These guys are super friendly, funny, and just make jewelry shopping a pleasure. They don't try to pressure you into anything. They stand behind their jewelry. I will be back to get a companion ring for my wedding set. Their diamonds look great! read more

Andre is the man! We scheduled a last minute appraisal and Andre was very attentive, scrutinizing the ring we brought in. He helped verify the authenticity of our diamond and provided an appraisal shortly after discussing the details. They have a wonderful selection of engagement rings, wedding bands and jewelry. You will not be disappointed with how well and clean they keep their shop. Do call in advance to schedule appointments, it will be a much smoother experience than dropping in unexpectedly (unless you're just window shopping). read more

copy paste review from Just diamonds!!! phew. My wedding day is in 2 days. Just diamonds made the custom diamond setting on my fiances engagement ring and it was perfect. I wanted to upgrade her diamond for the ring passed down from my mothers vintage set, and lift the new diamond up to enhance the new diamond. Ashley, Andre, Jason. From start to finish these guys gave a welcoming intro, purchase, pick up and the quality of the diamond for the price along with the service is top notch. Spare the local chain stores, malls and overpriced thieves. This is a family run business i believe, local and i truly and firmly suggest to at least call, make an appointment with any one here. They even let my videographer shot the pick up for a nice same day edit wedding video day of. Cheers. read more

My husband and I visited a handful of showrooms in the building, and even though the other businesses gave us lower quotes for our rings (simple matching yellow gold bands), we agreed to go with Just Bands after chatting with Andre. We liked his approach in general -- he gave us information about the process of making rings without pushing anything on us, and we felt that, unlike some of the other people we chatted with in other showrooms, he was the most personable, and friendly but upfront. Our rings were needed quickly and were finished in less than a week, which was a big help. After my husband realized his ring was sized a bit too big, he brought it back after the ceremony and they were happy to resize it in a matter of days. Overall, a pretty painless process from start to finish. We'll bring our bands in to get cleaned/polished when needed. read more

I had been searching for a Old Mine Cut diamond for a few months for my now fiancé's engagement ring. Because they're vintage, they're rare. After 10+ visits to different stores I stumbled into Just Diamonds and met Andre. I asked if he had any, and before he could get his answer out, John, his cousin popped out from the back with one in hand, "we only have one." And of course, it was "the one." After a solid half hour chat about life, family, traveling and the history of the business, I bought it, even though I knew I was going to buy it before the small talk. They're friendly, not pushy whatsoever, and really want you to have the best experience, rather than make a quick buck. The diamond was the easy part, as I had been developing the intricate design of the ring for a while. After a very very fair quote, I decided to go with them for the ring. Andre was patient with me, dropping some serious diamond and jewelry knowledge on me as I futilely argued points on diamonds, jewelry and ring sizes that proved to be incorrect - think I'll stick to my day job. I brought in numerous pictures of various "design cues" from my travels, a palm tree, the Eiffel Tower, a bridge in London, etc that I wanted to be incorporated into tiny parts of the ring. He listened, took notes, we tweaked a few parts based on his suggestion, and then he said it'd be ready in two weeks. I came back on the scheduled date, nervous there would need to be adjustments. THEY. NAILED. IT. It was perfect, and after proposing the very next day, my fiancé is enamored with it. I had insanely lofty expectations, very specific demands about the intricate details on the vintage-esque ring, and they far exceeded expectations, met all demands, and blew me away with the details I scrutinized over. It was perfect. And the fact that they did it all while making me feel confident and comfortable just adds to the experience. I don't know how to stress this further, it was perfect. Everything about it was perfect, and all credit goes to Just Diamonds. While I learned a lot throughout this process, I don't know too much jewelry, but I can't imagine a better jeweler than John/Andre and the kind staff at Just Diamonds, in San Francisco or anywhere. They're the best, and I could not recommend them more. read more

My husband and I were a little late in getting our wedding bands. Okay, we were a lot late. We didn't start shopping until less than two weeks before the big day. The other problem: we wanted rings that complimented one another, but he wanted a big, white gold brushed band, and I wanted a small, polished rose gold band. We had the idea that if we could get someone to make his band with rose gold on the inside, and my band with white gold on the inside, we'd be all set. I called my mom's friend in New York's diamond district and she said it couldn't be done. Undaunted, we ambled through the Jewelry Mart, suffering rejection after rejection, until we stumbled across Just Bands, which had rose gold rings in the front window. We met with Raffi and Andre, who said they could do just what we wanted. They were super friendly and really excited about our idea. "You need it in a week? No problem." And they charged us by the gram. Mine was even made in a special shape to match my engagement ring and it still came out to less than $100. The rings were ready on time and came out perfectly. Their sizing consultation with my husband was right on, too. I cannot recommend these guys highly enough! read more

I was wandering about the Giftcenter with my friend when I found my way into Just Diamonds. John greeted us and that's how our relationship started. =) Let me tell you, I am a very very picky customer when it comes to my diamonds and jewelry. John is not just some salesperson. This guy knows his stuff when it comes to diamonds and the such. Most people get sick of me asking for crown and pavilion angles to the diamonds, but not John. He was ready to give me all the info I needed. I have had wonderful conversations with him about the baubles. I ended up having him make me a custom 3 stone halo diamond ring set in platinum. They made a wax for the ring first and once I approved the wax, they proceeded to cast the ring. The end result is AMAZING! I receive endless compliments to my new piece. It looks like a piece of art. Too good to be true, but yet it is and it's on my finger! A huge thanks to my husband for creating this ring and to John for making it a reality! The process was smooth and wonderful. This company provides excellent customer service and the pricing is extremely competitive. They provide free polishing, sizing, and rhodium plating for the rings they make. This shows me they are very proud of taking care of their customers. I have recommended him to many friends and family. In fact, my mom just had her diamond ring custom made by him as well. John will be my jeweler for a long time to come. read more

The wifey and I bought our wedding bands at Just Bands back in June. We had done a reasonable amount of shopping around at that point, online and in stores, and knew almost immediately after going to the store that we wanted to get our bands through Just Bands. We worked with Andre, who was both knowledgeable and easy going. I had initially planned on getting a palladium or tungsten ring for myself, but Andre made a good argument for white gold. I ended up going with his recommendation, and am glad that I did. They worked with us to put together rings exactly like we wanted and they were made very swiftly. One mildly negative thing (although not really): I had asked for the brush pattern on my ring to go horizontally, although Andre had told me that vertical is more typical for the ring that I chose. They ended up doing the pattern vertically, and to be honest Andre was right--I do like it better this way so we didn't have them change it. We tried to get the rings cleaned before the wedding but the store was closed for the week (it was over the July 4th weekend). After they got back, we received a voicemail from them apologizing for being closed and making sure that we got everything taken care of. I thought that that was quite nice and good customer service. Also I wanted to note that the ring prices we were given in the store were quite a bit lower than the prices we saw on their website. We were very happy with their prices in general. I would highly recommend Just Bands/Just Diamonds to everyone. read more

Absolutely fantastic experience working with Andre and the crew here. I kind of wish I was getting married again just so I could do it all again. (Just kidding, babe.) You know how when you're planning something huge like a wedding, something important inexplicably gets pushed to the last minute? Yep, we finally got around to rings two weeks before the ceremony. Hey, we had to pick out the lobster-taco appetizers, right? Fortunately, this joint was there to provide. We were looking for something simple and classy, just a couple of plain silver-colored bands. We really wanted white gold, but didn't think we could afford it. Well, the incredibly friendly and helpful Andre worked with our numbers and was able to make our dream a reality -- within our budget. Can't wait to slip this stylish number on my honeys finger on Saturday. Thanks Andre! If you're looking for any kind of quality jewelry, and especially if you're a first-timer like me, this is your go-to. Super welcoming staff and great service. Very highly recommended. read more

I never thought my first yelp review would be on a business that sold me an engagement ring. Actually, Just Diamonds didn't just "sell" me a ring, they straight up crafted one for me. John and his family (brother Rafi and cousin Andre) are three of the most down to earth people to deal with. I was referred to them by my cousins and since I had already seen the quality of their wives' diamond rings, I knew I wouldn't be disappointed making a purchase from them. I first e-mailed John telling him what I was looking for and he promptly replied back with his phone number. After we exchanged numbers, he called me back the same day and we had a nice discussion to help him understand what I wanted. I was looking for a certain style on a three stone setting with a micro-pave' band that I saw on the James Allen website. I forwarded John a picture of the ring and he told me he could do the exact same band by using a 3D wax mold. Believe me, if you find something that you like anywhere else, go to John first. He can do it for you and save you tons of money. It took about a week for John to find the center diamond and when he did, it was beautiful (can dudes say that about diamonds?). He really did a great job finding not only a physically nice-looking rock, but also a quality one on paper (GIA certified specs). I did some research online to do a little cost comparison and the price John quoted me blew away the competition (namely Blue Nile). After we found the center stone, the only thing left was for him to craft the ring. I wanted to propose to my girlfriend in mid May and we had just finalized the diamond hunt at the end of April. This left a little under two weeks for John to get it done. He rush ordered the ring at no additional cost and two weeks later, he had it ready. When I went to go pick it up, damn... I don't fancy wedding rings nor diamonds but when I saw John's final work, I couldn't be more pleased. It looked exactly like the James Allen picture I had forwarded him and was nothing short of perfect. Sparing you the details of the proposal, my girlfriend, now fiance', loved the ring. We were up in Yosemite at the time and I would occasionally find herself lost in it, straight up Gollum-like. It was scary at first, but later flattering because I knew she was really, really happy. During the trip home, she would play around with it, shining it like a disco-ball in the sun. That thing sure does sparkle and I only have John's diamond expertise to thank for that. Do yourself a favor and see John and his family if you want top notch service and superior quality in your bling. But you don't have to take my word for it (insert Reading Rainbow jingle here). Just take a look at the other reviews. I think the company's five-star rating speaks for itself! read more

Outstanding service from really great people. Ashley was just terrific to work with. My now wife and I made this our first stop in shopping for a wedding band, expecting to go to other shops as well. However, Ashley showed us the perfect ring and helped with great advice, plus gave us a great price. So, we never had to go anywhere else. Ashley also came in early on the day we were to pick it up just before the wedding ceremony at City Hall. A gesture we really appreciated. It started off a perfect day for us. Highly recommend Just Bands, Just Diamonds!! Great people!!! read more

As someone currently in the "about to get married" demographic, one tires of seeing dollar signs in the eyes of every person involved in the process - from the caterer ($3 dollars per SLICE OF CAKE?) to the veil maker ($500 for A LACE VEIL I will only wear for 3 hours of my [please God] long lived life??). It is therefore with great relief and happiness that I recommend the fine gentlemen at Just Bands. John not only gave us a great price for our bands (for both of us, about $100 less than I would have paid for JUST my husband's wedding band at Tiffany's), but he also suggested some great design accents, truly making my husband's band one of a kind. He seems genuinely stoked about what he does for a living - the kind of guy that doesn't really care if you don't buy the maximum amount of stuff from him; just that you are happy with what you've asked for. I imagined that someone who deals in rare gems would try to up-sell, and was completely disappointed. Some ladies (and gentlemen?) want their ring-buying process to be paved with champagne and caviar - and if you are that person, this review is not for you. If, however, you want a sensible price and some great design advice from someone who actually likes giving it - then come here, and ask for John. Say Michi V. sent you so I can get a discount when I come back to re-set my wedding ring to match what he suggested for my husband. :) Thanks in advance! read more

I have visited twice since this review. Once to resize my ring and once for a missing diamond. They stand by there work and helped in both situations. These guys are always a pleasure to work with and their charisma is great! I still highly recommend them and will continue to come back. Excellent work guys!!! read more

John made shopping for an engagement ring an easy and pleasant experience. He never pushed me in a direction or was in sell mode, just gave honest opinions and provided insight on selecting a diamond, especially what features to focus on (i.e., where to spend $) and where it was ok to go for just enough. And when it came to pricing, they were definitely on the low end of the range. John was very personable and accommodating when I had more than my fair share of questions. Best thing was getting the diamond and then John allowing me to upgrade the band after proposing (initially got solitaire setting then after proposing switched to channel since that's what my fiance preferred). Highly recommend and will likely go back when shopping for jewelry the next time around! read more

We were referred to Just Bands by my fiance's band mate. I wish there were more stars to give these guys. My fiance wanted the curve of my wedding band indented into his wedding band that Andre was going to make for him. Andre made the wax mold and it looked perfect. Just the other day we got to see the actual ring and it matched the curve of my ring perfectly. No one else will ever have a wedding band like it. My rings were made in Montana but in the picture it looks like all three rings were made in the same place! It's amazing. I almost cried when we saw his ring for the first time. These guys are wonderful. The next time I need jewelry I'm definitely going to Just Bands. And! The final dollar amount was much less than what we were first quoted. Thank you so much guys! Professional pictures will be posted after the wedding!! read more

EEEEEEEEEEE!! My fiancé just picked up my engagement ring from Just Bands and the finished product is just like our experience there: beautiful! When he proposed, he said he didn't pick a particular band because he wanted me to pick one out. I thought the solitaire diamond was beautiful enough, but who am I to argue, amirite? We Yelped jewelers in SF and Just Bands was rightly the top hit. Our appointment was with Ashley (Asleh...sp?) and she was a delight. We left kinda wanting to be friends with her. My fiancé researched diamonds exhaustively before proposing, but we were both clueless about bands. All I knew was that I wanted rose gold, which she was very excited about as I guess it's less common for people to choose rose gold. She walked us through every detail in choosing a band and setting, of which there are many. The kind of prong, band thickness, setting height and type, etc. we felt thoroughly confident in our choice once we left. They even melted down the original band into the finished product and deducted it from the price. It was a great solution to the question of what to do with the presentation setting. The one thing to know if you are in the market for rose gold is that the setting for the solitaire will be in white gold. This is to preserve the brilliance of the diamond. They said if it's in rose gold it would result in a discolored diamond. I went with their expert opinion on that one. Ashley, Brian and everyone at Just Bands (it is a family run store) are wonderful. The price was even less than my fiancé was thinking it would be and the quality took my breath away. THANK YOU Just Bands!! We can't wait to come back for our wedding bands next year. :) read more

The 4 stars was a review for the ring: It turned out beautiful and pretty much exactly what I asked for/designed at a great price. They'd get 5 stars but they are not great communicators and did not follow-up if the ring was going to take longer then estimated. I had to find out for myself that my ring was ready to pick up. I'm still waiting on the appraisal which I've already reminded them once about and I bought the ring in April. I'm assuming they are just busy and inundated with orders... read more

My wife and I have been working with John almost 2 years now and we will never go see another jewler. I discovered John after I had already bought wife's engagement ring, and boy do I wish I would have met him sooner. When it came time to picking out the wedding bands he was not pushy, or salesy. He listen to what we wanted and he helped us design exactly what we had discribbed. Not only where his prices better than the other places we went to, it was custom, created the way we wanted. Again i can't say enough positive things about John and Just Diamonds, they truelly went above and beyond what was expected. read more

I heard about John and Andrei through a coworker who also had a great experience. I purchased my wife's engagement ring from Andrei and John in January. The ring was perfect and Andrei and John were great guys to deal with. Andrei was knowledgeable and professional and helped me create a custom setting that my wife loves. We went back for our wedding rings and are so thankful we did. These guys are true professionals with a great product. I highly recommend Andrei and John! read more

So I have bought my wife's 3rd upgrade on her wedding ring. I have dealt with Andre and John for many years now. They have never pressured me and always gave me amazing prices for beautiful stones. Definitely recommend this place for an honest no pressure jeweler. read more
