I was made to feel like a crazy person when they told me they were not comfortable renting to me all because I wanted to know about their insurance and if it would cover guest injury. They told me I would have to sign a liability waiver upon delivery of the bouncey house which I agreed to and I asked them if I could have guests sign a liability waive as well. Well I guess they were uncomfortable with my concerns and questions because they said they didn't want to rent to me now. I'm very unhappy this is how you treat your customers. These are normal questions and concerns and if you can't handle these kind of things you shouldn't be in the business.

He was also able to order me a new mower blade. When I needed some steel cut on a decorative fireplace cover, he was able to handle it the same day I dropped it off. I've rented interior scaffolding and a outdoor Genie lift from Bob. Each time he makes sure I know how to fully operate the equipment. Bob provides extras to make the rental experience go very smoothly.

The ballrooms are gorgeous and she chose the one with the stunning atrium glass. It seated 165 people while still leaving plenty of dancing room, DJ booth, and food stations. The cocktail hour was indoor/outdoor on the patio and it was perfect. Now let me talk about our most favorite things. First off, the staff, namely Serena. She is fantastic! She was extremely helpful in working out the details for the event and her communication was top notch through the whole year of planning. On the day of the event, Serena seemed to have eyes and ears everywhere noticing any little detail that needed addressing, taking care of it herself calmly and confidently, and when needed, discreetly asking about a little decision or two for which she needed my input. She also took video and photos during the event. While waiting for the professional photographs for weeks, this was such a nice surprise to receive! Emily was her assistant and very willing and helpful as well. Second, the food. Wow, the food here is just delicious! The choices are abundant and everything was just mouthwatering. It is one of the big reasons we chose this venue and it didn't disappoint. The carving station and mac n cheese were highlights. They offer so many fun add on's like late night snack and ice cream stations which since there is not a noise ordinance to worry about, are nice additions to a reception that can go later into the night. Lastly, the fireworks. So, my daughter had her heart set on these and to be honest, my husband and I questioned whether it would be worth it or not. Let me tell you it was worth it, SO worth it. It was a professional show that rivaled that of a lot of professional 4th of July shows! It was spectacular and the photos taken of the bride and groom with huge fireworks going off right above them are awesome! We don't have the pro ones yet but even the cell phone ones are great so we can only imagine. It was an add on we did not regret as our guests were truly in awe. We had many come up to us to share it was a top wedding they had ever attended. Our daughter hugged us at the end of the night thanking us for her fantasy wedding. We used a 20x40 tent, lighting, chairs, and tables from Tremont. Tremont did a site visit a month before the wedding and went over all options with us - answering every question we had and going over the logistics. We felt really confident after they visited us. The day before the wedding they put up the the tent in a couple of hours - and the three staffers onsite were totally professional and made sure everything was setup correctly to our specifications/needs. If you are having an event and need a tent or other inventory from them, you will have a great experience.

They also provided a paid in full discount, which is always helpful when trying to budget for a wedding. Shelby was incredibly accommodating and replied to any correspondence very quickly. They provided delivery, setup AND picked up the chairs the following morning (for 210 people). The truck arrived to our venue EXACTLY within the time frame they had initially provided, both for delivery and pickup. The chairs were all setup perfectly according to how the venue workers instructed and were incredibly clean. Overall, if you're looking to secure any event rentals, I would recommend contacting Tremont to do so!

The building itself is impressive, although maybe not quite as impressive as the castle-looking building next door. Our party of seven settled in at the bar as there otherwise did not seem to be a large enough table for all of us to gather around in either the main lounge area or a small room off to the side. The dark wood paneled walls, large fireplace, assortment of easy chairs, couches, and high desktop table gave off a feeling of warmth and welcoming. The friendly bartender introduced herself (sorry I've forgotten her name) and informed us that spirit-wise, the bar was capable of preparing the standard, traditional drinks like Manhattans, martinis, etc. All beers were poured from cans, and at my request, she recited the names of about six that were available. I don't believe anyone in our party inquired about the wines that were available. The building simply calls out for an explanation of its history. Upon our request, the bartender offered to provide either the "brief" or "full" option. We requested the full history. She was obviously well up to the task. You would be amazed at the variety of things you could learn here. Just to touch on a few key topics that were mentioned, consider Alexander Hamilton's wife, puffed rice, Bab-o cleanser (cue up the jingle), Bishop Gibbons, and an orthopedic surgeon. I don't know what the normal food arrangements are in the Lounge. I'm guessing that our out-of-town hosts requested some snacks for us as a few bowls appeared with mixed nuts, crackers and cheese, fresh grapes, humus, and warm pretzel/croissant rolls, and a plate of prosciutto wrapped cream cheese. Overall, the atmosphere here is simply friendly and inviting. I think it will become an occasional gathering place for our local friends when looking for a place that is quiet and relaxing.

The rooms are furnished with just the right amount of furniture allowing the room to feel light and airy. Each room is designed with the right amount of seating for flow and multiple conversation points without anyone feeling crowded or being interrupted by another conversation. Although the rooms have dark paneling the large windows and French doors allow for an abundance of light. The backyard is lovely and flows into Washington Park! Imagine having a whole park as your backyard!! I would love to come back for a stay!
