Noria would not let us, and was quite rude in letting us know that.  When I explained to her that we had in fact been in many times, she has no answer.  She simply cited "the rules."  When I asked to see these rules, she said "They aren't written down."  I then asked for her name, and she was defiant and defensive, then she finally gave it to me, rudely, and said "My boss is right behind you."  An older male and female were there in a golf cart, and the female there politely explained a recent change to the rules to my wife.  This was better, professional at least.  Meanwhile snowflake Noria was so "shaken" that she needed a hug from the male supervisor.  Generation Z... rude, unprofessional, and sensitive.  Was a negative experience for us and for our toddler, thanks to Noria. No...

You need to study the area carefully before you come. Try to be there in the morning due to limited parking space. The water slide is actually behind the community houses next to river Rio Pitahaya. The natural slide only can access through this location. The residents here create a concrete step pathway to reach the water slide. Parking at the property was $5. It is worth the money for the concrete step. It look scary to slide down the natural slide. My wife was scare at first. After she saw me slide down several time, she finally do it herself. The trick is you can start at the middle slide by climbing the rock on the side and slide down to increase your confidence. Once you got it, you will enjoy higher location. I recommend you wear water shoes for this location. This location do not have facilities, so go to the bathroom at Luquillo before you come in.

Here was our experience. EXPERIENCE: Parking: As usually advised, come early. This is no hidden gem so this picks up fast. Other alternatives is carpooling or arrange a tour. Depends on where you stop, but parking fills up FAST. Come early if you want the better trail access and less stress. Visitor access is managed largely because of parking limitations Vibes: The feelings from the temperature and energy changes. One night we were partying the streets of Santurce, next we we're in this chill and calm quiet area. There are paved scenic stops, short walking trails, and engaging areas such as waterfalls and river areas. You really can make it as adventurous as you want. OVERALL: 5 Stars. What's there to hate about this place? Maybe it can get super crowded but aside from that, it's a beautiful Puerto Rico experience. Whether you want waterfalls, hikes, scenic drives, or just to disconnect for a few hours, this place delivers. After that, you're not too far away from Luquillo Beach! Tips: * Go EARLY for parking and lighter crowds * Bring water shoes or shoes you don't mind getting muddy

Review #1,050 Posted on 5.1.26…read more We came to hike the Mt Britton trail at El Yunque on Friday the 24th of April. This was one of the better experiences of our trip, it was awesome up there. The parking is a bit tricky, honestly if I had to do it over again, I probably would've just parked a tad sooner then walked up more, but if you do that, it's a lot more time & walking/energy spent. The drive to those areas to park/hike is super scenic. You've got tons of green, and sounds of birds all around you, we rolled our windows down and soaked it all in. We parked pretty close to where the trail to hike Mt Britton begins, and it took us about 40 minutes to get to the castle, when you make it to the castle for sure go inside and walk the staircase to the top/roof. The views are awesome up there and you get some good photo opps. I would 100% make sure to do this again next time we visit.

If you need motivation to get in shape let it be to do this tour. You need a decent amount of upper body strength and endurance to do all the incredible feats from climbing the side of a cliff to swinging across a narrow canyon and swimming through waterfalls. It's insane! It's amazing! I can't even put it into words. There's just nothing like it--and that includes Ricky's off the charts delicious fried chicken and special sauce! That family is something special. What an incredible unforgettable experience!

Montana Explora is the tour company located in Naguabo. Its location is slightly remote so I recommend looking it up in advance before you head over. You can also call/text the company's phone number, and they will text you their GPS coordinate. If you feel like you're driving to the middle of nowhere, you're heading the right direction. Once you get there, you'll see a small building with a bunch of life jackets/equipment on the outside. Our tour start time was 8:00am. We showed up early so we beat our guides there. They arrived few minutes after we did, and after they got the equipment together, we started around 8:30am. They do provide the equipment so all we had to bring was ourselves. I do recommend wearing canyoneering shoes or good hiking shoes because it is a slippery environment and the likelihood of falling is high in other shoes. Ha. Possibly long pants and long sleeve but not mandatory. Some of the trees have thorns, but they are rare. The company is family-owned and operated so the tour guides appear to care about the company greatly. Actually, our tour guides, named Luis and Gabriel, had a great attitude and seemed to enjoy their job a lot. They were extremely patient, friendly, and helpful. They are in very good shape physically and helped us the entire way, even if that required lowering us or offering a knee for us to step onto. They were very competent, and I felt very safe the whole time. I feel like the amount I paid for this experience was way less than the risk they took to keep us safe. I feel so indebted to them and forever grateful for them. This tour was highly based on our preferences and comfort level. We were able to add or subtract activities as we wanted. There was hiking, water sliding, zip lining, and more water slides. It was a lot of fun. I highly recommend this company and their tours. They do offer multiple tours so check them out!

The experience started with about 30 minutes of instructions and getting set up, followed by an hour riding through the rainforest. One thing I really appreciated was that we stopped to take photos something I haven't experienced on similar tours before, so that was a nice touch. We also had a quick 10-minute stop for food before wrapping up. We went on Sunday. Nice sceneries The only downside was that our tour guide kept commenting on how fast or slow we were going. Since it had been a while since I last rode an ATV, I was a bit jerky at times, so that felt a little unnecessary. Other than that, I liked the experience and had no major complaints.
