My son (2) had a wonderful time at Jurassic Empire. The attraction traveled all the way to Ninilchik, Alaska! Everyone working was very nice. It's sad to see the bad reviews for something that brought my child so much joy. Yes, the dinosaurs have some cosmetic damage but they travel the world on some very bumpy roads. This is just a straight-up cash-grab - the physical equivalent of the Nigerian Prince email scam. I included screenshots of what their website advertises as part of this "experience." Most of the dinosaurs were in a sad state of disrepair so with the money they're saving there, plus the steady line of cars, they are absolutely printing money. We enjoyed the ridiculousness of having lit $80 on fire (in the ten minutes it took us to drive through) but we definitely should have heeded the numerous "All Sales Final" postings on the website. False advertising! This was held at the Portland International Racetrack and I expected it to be ON the racetrack like the annual Christmas drive thru. The event was in the parking lot. :( We waited nearly 2 hours to start "the track". Dinosaurs faced AWAY from the line. WHY? There was a group of dinosaurs roasting a smaller dinosaur on a spit. Um, how did the dinosaurs put the dino on the stick, start a fire, and then turn the spit? Oh, then there is the "indominus rex head" yes that's what the sign states. We weren't the only ones in the car line to be disappointed once we realized how short and sad this show was. The ads said "Interact with 50 Giant Dinosaurs, Get up close and see the voracious Velociraptors, the massive ferocious Tyrannosaurus Rex, and the soaring Pterodactyl!!!" Giant??? Bra.... Crumpled $65 and threw it out the window. Would not recommend this at all. Sounds cool in theory, but the execution is subpar. Most of the dinosaurs are mechanically non-operational (broken) and some of the skins were ripped. The customer service was not the best, it did not feel very welcoming. Website says it will take 20 mins to an hour to drive through the event, however, driving slow with my kids hanging out the window, I entered at 7:30pm, and exited at 7:36pm. Steep price at $10.80 a minute.. lol. Take your kids miniature golfing or something instead, you'll be much happier with your decision. Hope this helps. If I could give this zero stars, I would!! This was horrible. The entry for one car was $69 plus a $4.95 convenience fee. The dinosaurs were set up in a line in the parking lot. They were old and some were torn and broken. Very unrealistic. Fortunately my 4 & 3 years grandsons didn't know the difference. We opted for the $27 plus $2.95 convenience fee Dino surprise pack for each. They had three dollar store toys in a plastic bag. We could have definitely spent $135.15 in a much better way. This was my experience.... It was very cheesy and still unsure of why half the dinosaurs are turned around when all cars go one way?? My son is 3 so he Did enjoy it even if half the dinos were broken or ripped which is t saying much he's amused by an empty box during Xmas time! . I did get him a Dino surprise and every toy was broken or missing pieces so they told me to come back which I did a few days later, when we open the new plastic bag surprise pack there was a bottle of Perfume?? The commercial for this event is definitely deceiving. I took my godson to this event. Good thing that we split the fee 3 ways. The dinosaurs were okay but many of them had missing limbs, torn skin (their covering). I am pretty sure some of the names were made up. Please save your money, just rent Jurassic Park the movie and make it a movie night with pizza, popcorn and sodas. You'll get your money's worth that way. Free community event "exhibits" and activities at theme park prices. Pretty much paid $100 to have my nephews and niece bounce in a bounce house for thirty minutes. They use volunteers to staff their events, so no on-site accountability. Felt bad for the volunteer folks cause people were unhappy but no company recourse (the signage explicitly says "no refunds" at the door, before guests saw the lackluster experience they were selling; should have been a warning sign.) They also had a shady time share salesperson ambush visitors at the entrance for personal information, another shady practice. These organizers must have gone to the same event coordinating seminars as the Fyre Festival guy. Avoid avoid avoid wherever they pitch their ratty, shady tents. read more

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!! It starts off with a small stand of sad looking stuffed animals that cost between $20-30 each. Then comes the disappointing dinosaurs. They hardly move, if at all. Nearly every one of them had rips, tears and/or giant hunks of foam missing and some were being held together with packing tape. I only takes about 8-10mins to drive through the entire display and you only get one trip!! You're better off parking your car and walking up to the fence to take some photos. If you want to show your kids some cool dinosaurs up close, go see the dinosaur exhibit at the woodland park zoo. read more

I think this was WAY overpriced. I'll start with the "mystery bag" for over 30 dollars. It contained a cheap stuffed dinosaur (probably 3 dollars, a small DRAGON stuffed animal, and a really cheap flimsy toy I guess. I mean seriously it was prob worth 5 bucks for the bag. And it was thrown in a black plastic disposable bag. Very deceiving. As for the exhibit. The dinosaurs were ok. My 3 year old thought most of them were cool. There are a few broken and just really strange. Like really odd (one was on a rotisserie like being cooked?) I would never have spent almost 100 bucks for this. Wife and kids went to this based on their advertising pitch. What they found when they got there was a parking lot, filled with broken or non functioning animatronic dinosaurs. They were charging $65 per car trip through this insane rip off. It's pretty bad when a six year old says it sucks. My daughter complained to the company and got a poorly written response back that basically said her expectations were too high or she was a liar. I paid for tickets for myself and my children. Website stated must arrive 30 minutes before closing. I drive 20 minutes one way, to be turned away. The employee said I needed to arrive 30 minutes before closing. I explained I'm 40 minutes before closing. He then proceeded to say they decided to close early with no warning. Shame on you for charging so much for tickets and a ridiculous $52 for the special 6- piece "Dino Bag" of dollar store GARBAGE! My kids were so disappointed. I understand everyone is trying to keep businesses alive and make a living, but this truly is a deception to anyone thinking it's worth their time or money! Most of the animatronic dinosaurs didn't work,had holes and rusty metal sticking out of them and it literally took less than 10 minutes,with stopping, to move through the lime. I guess the extra attraction was the line of homeless people in their motor homes camped out on the street outside your exhibit. Safe place for sure to get my kids back in their car seats. Do not waist your time or money... you snake through a small corner of a busy parking lot to see dinosaurs in a line that takes only a couple of minutes to drive through. Some barely move and one roar sounds exactly like and old jalopy car horn. A lot of them are missing claws off their feet that are very noticeable even to a small child. We purchased a VIP package for a child and they only had 2 bounce houses and face painting station and power wheels to drive around a track that cost additional money. Well, I wouldn't recommend it. We took the family and bought the megapack add on for the kids. I wasn't expecting much and I was still let down. The pack included a reusable bag, one TY stuffed dinosaur, one dollar store stuffed dinosaur, and a couple of other dollar store dinosaur toys. My three year old thought it was cool, however the 8 year old commented on the broken parts on every dinosaur, and the wheels under the feet often un hidden. He asked why they did a bad job and stated he thought we should get our 3 yr olds eyes checked because he thought it was good. read more

I am very disappointed in our Jurassic drive through experience. Prior to arriving at our 4/9/21 4pm ticket time I had watched a couple YouTube videos on other people's experiences in different cities. They raved about the exhibit and the interaction with fun staff, they were greeted by enthusiastic staffers. They were instructed to listen to a narrative as they strolled through the exhibit. We arrived and there was no instructions, no information other than keep hands and heads in car. The Dinosaurs were in bad shape. Broken or missing appendages, rips exposing foam, smashed faces, mechanics not working, signage either pointing in other direction or laying broken on ground. At 5mph we were through the exhibit in 20 minutes. YouTube video mentioned their experiences lasted 40 minutes for less money than what we paid. Many of the Dinosaurs seen on YouTube were missing from the Portland exhibit. I don't like giving bad reviews, however when your 5 children ages 4-11 are disappointed I had to be honest! We drove from Alder creek (Mt Hood) in heavy traffic for 20 minutes. Save your $65.00! read more

It was cool to see some different dinosaurs than are normally in the movies and books. That's where the entertainment stopped. The whole experience was literally a five-minute drive through a parking lot. Directions were not well marked or listed on the website, and we did a few u-turns before figuring out how to access the unlit entrance. It was definitely not worth the $60 I paid. Call me crazy, but after having just spend nearly $100 to get into the event and then being told that if my son wants to sit on a fake dinosaur, it's going to cost $10..... that's insanity. 1) My wife and I were standing outside the venue in the rain with our two kids. 10am came and went and all of the people waiting in the rain were just patiently waiting for someone to come out and tell us they had opened. Finally, I poked my head in and asked if they were ready for people to come in and the girl said "yes!". - it would have been nice to inform the people standing in the rain with their children. 2) we get inside the door immediately there is a kind of whimsical tree with a face that animates - at "Jurassic Tour". I know it's a kid event but really, why is there a tree with a face looking at me at Jurassic Tour...? 3) There is a dinosaur with his head, hanging on a little fake wall. Yes, its a dinosaur there - why is it on or coming through a all? and why is there a dinosaur on a kind of rotating spit over a fire...? 4) The bounce house that my son was bouncing in was disgusting. The sides were a totally different shade of green than the surface he was bouncing around on. Now these could have just been washed and were clean but just stained from daily use - either way I wasn't super exited about it. 5) the place is lined with these tiny plastic baby fences. I had to ask my toddler to stop moving them around as they are so small. 6) in a seperate area the had a 'dino band' playing "everybody walk your dinosaur" on an endless loop, which I'm pretty sure violate several articles of the Geneva Convention. The entire event just feels cobbled together and was absolutely not worth the price of admission - for . I highly recommend against attending one of their events. read more

If I could give this place -0 I would. It cost $55 to take our car through due to coronavirus restrictions. But most of the dinasours were not working and without illumination. The whole thing was super short and definitely not worth this money (the CALM Holiday lights, which are a work of art, cost only $27!). At first I thought what the heck, the kids were screaming their lungs off, so at least that was good. But then I posted a critique on their Facebook page (it was civil, but honest) and I get immediately blocked. That's a sign of an unprofessional business. Professional businesses would reply to my comment, offer apologies and offer ways they promise to redress the mistakes. Instead, all I feel left with is a feeling of being ripped off and blocked off. If this were $10 a car, I would have thought it was a rip off. At $60-$70 a car, it's a total scam. Most creatures were non-functional and held together with duct-tape. All dinosaurs were placed without any supporting environment. Signs were amateur at best. Some dinosaurs were purely fictional probably bought randomly at auction. This attraction sucks so bad. Almost all of the dinos are broken or ripped. There are also a ton of repeats so it's just the same few dinos over and over again. It's a stretch to say it's worth 10 dollars to enter. Pics attached of the damages. The whole attraction lasts maybe 10 minutes if you drive really slow. If you're wanting to waste 60 dollars to drive through a dumpy Vegas parking lot with dinos a hair away from falling apart I guess this is for you. Chuck E. This review is for the Stockton location..I have seen the commercials on tv and told my 5 year old Granddaughter if Jurassic Empire ever came to town, I would take her..Looked like a cool event..So when I saw it was inStockton I ordered the $60 per car( 3 of us) and a Dino pack for my granddaughter..thought it would be cool for her to have a swag bag...lining up outside the event I could see the exhibits..right then & there I could see it was not as advertised..The advertised 45 minute event was actually a 15 minute drive by with old, ripped, broken, doubled, dinosaurs..a few moved & a couple made a few noises but nothing close to what a dinosaur might sound like..My granddaughter enjoyed it being only 5, but older kids might be highly disappointed ..oh & the Dino pack consisted of a cheap plastic bag with even cheaper toys thrown in..you're better off spending $100 elsewhere read more

Jurassic Empire is like a weird horror movie from the 80's. It's basically a 5-7 minute drive, through a parking lot with "Human" size dinosaurs set up throughout. A few of them move but the majority of them only make weird high pitched noises. There is nothing "Jurassic" or educational about it, I actually think some of the dinosaur names were fake.
