So I never have felt the need to leave reviews (unless positive), but I'm starting to think our generation is getting too comfortable just being rude to each other for no reason and it's time to take some accountability. I'm saying this as a young adult who has been in the work force for over a decade now. I get having bad days, and maybe the girl I interacted with was having one, but I never think it justifies being mean to a customer. I came in for the first time in a while, excited to see what fun drinks they had since that's something I credit them with. As soon as I walked up to the counter, I was met with a disinterested and bothered barista. I asked for a moment to look at the menu, and she just walked away in that same bothered way. No words. Just silent annoyance. Once i knew what I wanted, she acted annoyed that I was ready already. So I quickly gave her my order, feeling bad for bothering her. She was short with me and then at the end of the interaction, she pointed to the pay pad (still annoyed) and said "There's your total". And then that was that. I always tip. I was a barista for years and know how helpful they can be...but I was faced with the question: "Should I really tip someone for making anyone feel like an annoyance for walking into their shop? Would that be helpful or would it be enabling this behavior?" For the first time, I didn't tip, and I honestly felt bad about it, but her behavior was WILD. Her coworker seemed to feel the need to intercede for the girl, and she was very kind . Bottom line is this, you can have the best atmosphere, drink, food etc., but the deciding factor of whether my family will be a regular customer is how we're interacted with. read more

Went here while visiting for a wedding. Super cute spot with so much space and different seating options. I really enjoyed the Roobios Chai Latte, not super sweet which I appreciated. Lots of fun drink options from caffeine to caffeine free. A few pastry and food options but not many. I would definitely come back if I visit Greenville again! read more

This is our favorite coffee shop to work from for the ambiance. It is extremely large with tons of different style tables to sit at. There are couches, picnic tables, regular tables, meeting sized tables, bar top tables etc... They have floor to ceiling windows and tons of real plants. The coffee is always beautifully made and they have fresh pastries on hand. I think weekends are the only time they serve real food, but the food is amazing! Best Shakshuka I have ever had. The coffees come out quickly and you self bus your table. Plenty of parking, as it is found in the old Taylor's mill. If I could change two things it would be that they served food every day (not just weekends) and they stayed open till 5pm! read more

Been here twice, the cold brew black tasted the same each time so A+ for consistency, however it does have quite the bitter taste to it. People here on the first visit were a bit unresponsive, but the second time around they seemed much more friendly. Parking is great always room. read more

My family got a lavender mocha, hot chocolate, and a blue matcha latte. All tasteless. Lavender mocha just tasted like vaguely sweet coffee, hot chocolate tasted like warm milk, blue matcha tasted like bitter hot water. Really weird. Drinks came out pretty quickly. Seems like a chill atmosphere, though. If you can stand the drinks you may be able to get some work done. read more

Found this hidden gem today. Only reason it's missing a star is the location. It just feels very oddly out of the way and isolated; unless you're specifically going there, it's unlikely you'd ever find it. Aside for the location, this place really is a special find! I'm a sucker for unique flavor combinations, interesting ingredients, and coffee art, and Junto does all of that so well. In that sense, they're a bit of a unicorn because they've found just the right mix to have these unique flavors, but also manage to taste great! I highly recommend the Blue Matcha Latte or Rudolph's Revenge. They're both absolutely fantastic! I was also really impressed with the brioche with whipped ricotta. They didn't have an event going on while we were there, but this place is HUGE and I noticed there were rooms behind the bar that seemed to triple the space. There were a couple very large projection screens, so I imagine there's some movie screenings that happen occasionally, among other things. Pro tip: they have loads of outdoor seating, so try them out when the weather is nice, and be sure to look all over for the "best" outdoor seating. read more

This place has so many things going for it but unfortunately its super inconsistent vibe-wise. A couple weekends ago I came in and got 2+ hours of work done with a friend - great atmosphere, quiet music, good espresso. This weekend I came in and they were blasting the most insane opera-metal shrieking music I've ever heard. And loud. The group of women at the table next to me had to move their meeting outside to the cold because they couldn't hear each other talk over the music. I left after about 15 minutes. Not worth the drive to middle-of-nowhere Taylors when you don't know what version you're going to get. read more

When I travel I like to visit coffee shops and pick up a bag of locally roasted beans. Junto Coffee is one of my favorite coffee spots in the U.S. The coffee is really good. The coffee drinks are well made. The staff is as nice as they can be, and the environment is kind of perfect. read more

Excellent coffee drinks. Right now they only have pastries (October, 2023), but they have a fuller menu coming. Baristas are really nice and make excellent drinks. The whole place is huge and has plenty of space to chill. Or even to bring a silly toddler who gets hyper from a snickerdoodle cookie. read more

The coffee tasted very bitter as if the shots were timed incorrectly. Not a large variety of syrups so if you like a mainstream vanilla latte this is not the place for that. The baristas were very friendly and did offer to make me another beverage instead after not liking the syrup that was supposed to be similar to vanilla. The space itself is large and great for a large party or event and is dog friendly. My biggest critique is needing a wider variety of syrups to add into their coffees. read more

Brother-in-law sent us a bag of their "La Ventolera" frozen cherry roast. The region in Antioquia and it was frozen naturally (Let's pretend I know what that means, beside awesome goodness in a bag). The notes were dark chocolate, raspberry jam and luxardo cherry and the freaking coffee actually tastes like fudge and cherries. I can't wait until they get more in their shop so I can buy some to have delivered. read more

This is a beautiful open space. Lots of lighting, lots of parking, great service and amazing coffee. Ive tried their cortado and multiple different lattes iced or hot and i have loved them all. My favorite is their ruby. An iced latte with orange and cranberry flavors. Cinnamon on top to make it perfect! This is a great place to catch up with friends, hang out with family, have a date, do work or work on school, read a book or just relax to some of the best coffee in town. Best little coffee house and meeting place in the Taylor's - Greer area. Lots of great coffee too for purchase to grind or brew at home.

We went there today for the very first time. We placed our order for a drip coffee and a latte. After 25 minutes we went back ( we waited at the "bar" area less than 15 ft from where we had placed the order) since we had still not received our order. Apparently they forgot about it. They were busy at the time we placed our order but not extremely busy. We eventually received our items after just a few minutes. The latte was good but the coffee was very bitter. read more

I REALLY wanted to like this place as my husband highly recommended it, but unfortunately, I didn't love it. The small drip coffee I ordered was overpriced for the amount you get and did not come with any free refills. The taste was mediocre. The small croissant that cost $4 was nothing special. It looked like something they purchased in bulk at Costco. They had a whole four pastries to choose from, so the menu could be amped up a bit. As a matter of fact, the customer right before me purchased the last poopy seed muffin, so the options decreased to three pastries to choose from and it was only 9:30am. When they brought the pastry and coffee, the coffee was lukewarm. I like my coffee piping hot, or at a minimum, just hot, so I was not too thrilled about that. Then to make things worse, their wifi was very spotty. I had a work meeting to attend and the video call dropped completely within the first couple of minutes (not to compare, but that would have never happened at a Starbucks, for example). I do have to give credit where is credit is due, the locale is awesome. The inside is very sunny and it's in a cool warehouse, but at the end of the day, I go to coffee shops to work, so need good wifi, and enjoy a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, this place did not provide either. IF I go back, maybe I'll try a latte instead since it sounds like maybe that's what they're known for, but will not be returning any time soon. As a side note, the place is a little too "woke" for me. They have signs EVERYWHERE saying a mask is highly recommended, and the large area in the back that would probably have a lot of tables, only has three that are 10 to 15 feet apart. I've been to a lot of third wave/specialty coffee shops, and this is hands down my absolute favorite place to get coffee anywhere. First of all, the location is quite special as it's located in an old mill building with lots of history. The interior is very spacious and well designed- huge windows let in lots of natural light and they have some very happy-looking plants because of that. The service is friendly and the music playing is always good as well. My only complaint is that the seats at the taller tables near the windows seem very cheaply made/wobbly (hopefully they replace those soon before my fear comes true and one collapses underneath me :p). Their menu is the real highlight though. Their drinks show off their creativity and coffee knowledge. Their flavor combinations are just so dang good. Lately I've been hooked on their seasonal drink "Un Poco Coco" which is a latte made with vegan horchata, coconut (cream?), and anise syrup. The rest of their menu is amazing as well and it makes it incredibly hard to make a decision there. We plan on moving and this is one rare gem of a place that I know I will miss terribly. If you're in the area do yourself a favor and take the time to stop by here and try this place out - you won't be disappointed! read more

Junto is in a large warehouse-like building in a very unassuming location. Several conversation areas are generously scattered in the huge, shabby chic space. I chose the lavender mocha after reading about it in the reviews. Very unusual indeed, delicious, and beautifully served too. Junto opened at 9am today (a bit late, I thought, for a coffeehouse), and was surprisingly busy at noon, given its location. Will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits. read more

What a great find! We got the lavender mocha and it was delicious. Sweet, but not overly sweet, and the perfect amount of creaminess. I'd come back for this anytime. We also got the tea, which was good, but it was overshadowed by the mocha. This would be a great place to come and relax or just to do some work. This is a fantastic coffee shop located a building down from the 13 stripes brewery on Mills Street. They have done a great job renovating the old mill space into a coffee shop. Great latte and tea. Plus they have a ping pong table in the corner. Baristas are warm and friendly. All this equals a very wide open space for everyone to relax and work on their screenplay. What a treat of a coffee shop located in the Taylor's Mill. We've been three times and have had excellent coffee and service each time. The double espresso is delicious, their seasonal drink "The Perennials" is delightful and each pour over we've had has been made wonderfully.
