I ordered about $175 worth of K-Rain RN100 rotary sprinkler heads based upon the recommendation of…read morethe company that makes my irrigation timeclock. I installed the sprinkler heads and found them to be mediocre at best. I was unable to control/adjust the radius of the spray on some of the heads while it worked on others (inconsistent). The spray pattern differed from head to head and the speed of the rotor was different on each of the heads. There appears to be a significant quality control issue regarding these particular rotary heads. For comparison purposes. I purchased a few Rain Bird rotary heads and they worked perfectly from the start and did not have the inconsistencies like the K-Rain heads. I contacted K-Rain's customer service to initiate a return. Their website indicates "If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, we will accept returns of UNUSED merchandise for up to 30 days from purchase for a full refund or exchange.". How can one determine whether they're 100% satisfied without installing the product? After going around and around with K-Rain's customer service, I was told I could return the product and they would test it and determine if they would offer me a refund or not but in order to return it I would be without sprinkler heads for at least 7-10 days and in 100+ degree weather, this is not feasible. Most companies stand behind their products but K-Rain does not appear to do so. Very disappointing.
