We actually did not go to the shop - we saw the jewelry at a gem show in San Mateo. Everything was beautiful and reasonably priced. The designer was there and could adjust anything as needed. We went to the show on Friday and there was a huge selection. When we went back on Sunday, a lot had sold. So the lesson is with so many unique pieces if you see something you love buy it at that time. We were lucky to get several beautiful bracelets as gifts. read more

What an absolutely lovely shop. Walked in not knowing what to expect and we were immediately greeted with kindness and great crystal convo. oh my gosh, new favorite place to shop for crystals on my lunch break! I love the variety of cuts and this place has so much selection! it's a lot to take in, crystals are every where and their stock is plentiful. Uriel is very knowledgeable about his crystals and sources. They have been in business for ten years, which says a lot about their quality of products and service. I picked up some crystals for my co workers and myself, very good deal. I hope to be back soon to get more. read more

What a wonderful place to stumble into on a random mid week evening! A good friend and I were walking in Chinatown when we stumbled on this gem of a place. The raw stones and geodes in the foyer leading to the door definitely helped with our decision making on whether to step in or not. The proprietor, Jaime, was very helpful with everything, answering all of our questions and showing us different kinds of stones. This is a perfect place for someone who loves stones or loves the healing powers of crystals. The shop is like a treasure trove of goodness, mostly consisting of rough stones in different shapes and sizes. There are also various cuts of stones and crystals, such as cabachons of jasper and beautiful shards of crystals that can be used for almost anything. As a jewelry lover and hoarder, this was such bad news! We were in the shop for over an hour, taking our precious time, looking at every single stone. I ended up with a handful of beautiful druzies, some rough tourmaline and a ton of other things! If you're in Chinatown late at night (well, not that late!) I highly recommend stopping by. The prices are great and Jaime always seems to be willing to make a deal with you. read more

The owner , he was very rude . Also the amethyst and other crystals are extremely over priced . They take advantage of tourist and it was the most u comfortable "spiritual store" I have ever been too. I collect rocks and asked him about the price on a specific piece. He told me and I proceeded to tell him very politely thank you but not interested . He then screamed " don't buy from me then" and would continue to mutter rude things to my partner and I under his breath. Don't go here if you're looking for a rock or jewelry shop, they have way better options all around San Francisco. read more

I stopped in here yesterday and what a FASCINATING SHOP!!!!! I left with so many goodies to wire wrap and the very kind shop owner was so knowledgeable! He correctly identified the gem I had on a necklace when I walked in and plucked an identical cabochon out of a dish. I am coming back and bringing friends. Walked in on Christmas Eve just to look around. They have very large crystals here.. but mediocre in my opinion. Though the worker bragged that people can't see how great of a quality it is and can't tell the difference. I beg to differ. It is quite hard to find some of the crystals they had in stock in such a large chunk I do agree with. But they weren't WOWZA or anything. As I walked in I immediately was offered 50% off everything which I found pretty awesome, till I realized how marked up everything was. Many crystals were $2 per gram. & since they were large chunks.. they were pricey. I wanted this piece of morganite, which would've been $240 originally! and it was a little smaller than my hand... I have small hands. Though I've been wanting to add that to my collection, I'm not willing to pay that much. He was willing to give me a discount, and found himself very humble. I explained to him that I just didn't have that much at the moment since it was the holidays. His reply was quite rude. "Well it's really not my problem that you spent the rest of your money on other junk." Oooohk... Another guy walked in while I was browsing and wanted to buy a small gift for a girl around $20, he looked like he was still in high school. The worker started criticizing him about how he's only willing to pay $20, and that none of the jewelery in the store would be that much. Then he tried to ask me on my opinion on his jewelry.. Which obviously I was not interested in at all.. & I said sorry, I'm very simplistic with my jewelry, and he goes, oh forget her then. Anyhow after all the insults, the kid got scared off and left. & the worker started complaining to me about how cheap he was. Anyhow, if you're looking for large slabs of lapis lazuli, morganite, petrified wood, etc. This is the place to go, but their prices don't seem consistent. & I feel like they mark it up, just to mark it down so that you can feel good since it was "on sale." They had a large quantity of clear quartz points and vera cruz amethyst. Which was nice, but the vera cruz amethyst were all very tiny, and it looked like the ones with the large points got broken off to be sold as just points.. not very smart in my opinion. Just be careful when you walk in and don't be fooled by the discount. read more

Buyers beware! The owner left out a 30$ rock that I bought and 20$ worth of pendants that my mother bought. I can only guess that he did it on purpose because we told him that we were leaving tomorrow morning. Beautiful gems but just be careful. read more

I visited Juno recently, and was really shocked by the high prices. I've seen much more competitive prices for comparative jewelry elsewhere. But what really turned me off was the attitude of the owner. He was extremely rude and arrogant with customers. He talked down to customers who didn't know much about jewelry, apparently forgetting that not everyone is knowledgeable about the finer points of jewelry. I chose to go elsewhere, and was treated much more fairly and politely at other stores in Chinatown. read more

I was in SF Chinatown with the intention of purchasing some crystal and mineral specimens. This is how I was treated when I went to Juno on 03/16/2018... I walked up to the door of this shop, was not allowed to enter, was called a thief by the owner among other expletives I will not mention here! I asked what I did to deserve such treatment? I was then threatened with the police! I have never stolen from nor have I ever wronged this establishment, nor, any others! The owner has a few screws loose, either that or he mistook me for someone else! I recommended you stay away from this shop! The attitude of the owner will no doubt taint the energy of the crystals in this shop. Cussing out potential customers and calling them thieves and threatening to call the police is not just bad business, it pollutes the energy of the crystals in this shop!!! read more

Hands down one of the most amazing gemstone and crystal selection and quality for the value. Jamie helped us pick out a bunch of stones that he knew the properties for and if he needed more clarity looked them up for us. We purchased a huge labodorite crystal ball, a bunch of beautiful very purple amethyst crystals, polished egg sized cardilian, and I got a purple jade ring that looks like a lotus flower. Plus a few more stones i couldnt live without for my souls advancement. I couldn't be happier we were drawn to this store after strolling thru China Town all afternoon. Its not what I would have expected to find there, it was a beautiful discovery of divine nature shop. Don't get me wrong I love China Towns novel stuff tho! read more

This place has stones that I have never seen carried in other stores. Everywhere you look there are crystals! They have really beautiful and unique jewelry and stones that are already set and ready to wear out of the store. Wow, I left this store feeling so scared and taken advantage of. The owner was extremely creepy towards me. He was a bald older man in a suit. 5'7 - pushing 50 possibly. He tried to hold my hand as I was shopping. He rubbed the back of my neck and tried to whisper that he would give me a good price because I was so beautiful. I was alone in the store. Thank you to my angels and guides because a female worker of his came in to ask him questions at the perfect time. She legit saved me from him! Please be careful in here if you're alone and please speak up and report if you have experienced anything similar. read more

What an incredible experience! I decided to take a trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco for my 30th Birthday, and I've set an intention to purchase some new stones on my trip. I stumbled across this place as I was walking through China town. Let me start by saying, I was warmly greeted and offered a cute little basket to hold my "maybe" items. I was also then greeted by the owner who was the sweetest, with so much knowledge. I was attended to and enjoyed my time there. I visited this store a long while ago but I was just looking at my favorite polychrome jasper I got from Juno and decided to see if they had yelp. Anyway I'm a huge gemstone lover and saw this store while on vacation so I obviously had to check it out. I enjoyed the store and could have spent hours in there looking at everything. I came across a beautiful polychrome jasper right away and was holding it while I was looking at everything else. The guy working asked me about it and if I was going to get it. We were the only ones in the store so we were able to actually have a conversation and after he told me he would give it to me for an amazing price. There was no way I could turn it down. And I really appreciated that. Still to this day it's my favorite and I hope to get back to SF and visit this store again. Keep up the good work! read more

I much enjoyed shopping at Juno yesterday (5-1-18). Speak from your heart and the man there will try to find something just for you as you browse. Rock collecting can be as spiritual as it is physical and material, so it is good to bond with the seller when you shop. He was a nice man to interact with. I found something unique that will stay with me till my last day on earth. Remember, compared to our mortal lives, rocks are timeless. read more

Glanced at my watch as I walked in with my daughter and granddaughter to check out the goodies and noticed the balding owner in the back texting on his cell. 12 minutes later he finally gets off to answer our pricing questions. Lots of cool looking rocks and minerals but his prices are out of the ballpark even for SF. Most stuff is not priced and so when you asked him, he just arbitrarily quotes a high price, he just dreamed up. Not even the usual $5.00 and up tags on boxes. Been to many rock shops and gem shows in the past but this place is way, way too pricey. Helluva big collection but that's cause the stock isn't selling. Rent that high in Chinatown? read more

This place is amazing. So many great pieces of jewelry, wonderful crystal s from around the world, that are hard to find, and Jaime who designs all his jewelry by hand, and has made locally, is a great person to do business with. Wholesale and retail. His prices are amazing, real gold, silver, no cutting corners, and his own very unique and sought after designs. I have a problem buying crystals. A compulsion.,His are very rare. And very very fairly priced. Wonderful,fossils and geodes of all sizes. Everything he has is a good value, and that's what I look for. Nothing cheap, or gaudy, jewelry that reflects the "'in" styles, very classy timeless designs, pieces. And some very unique pieces you will never see at other jewelry stores. Good guy with good energy. I have seen his same pieces he's selling for $200 that are better quality sell for a fraction of Sundance catalog. I went around new years last year and had an amazing experience! I didn't catch the name of the sales guide but he was extremely helpful with showing me and my friends some really cool pieces. He was also really informed with the origins and where the specimens were sourced and was really patient with us looking around for a while. The store also had a large variety of different stones and shapes to choose from! I was also three bucks short on cash but he was lenient and let me keep the stones! Definitely recommend any crystal lovers to check out this store! read more

Sells spray painted pieces of rocks. (Silver and gold.) And fake amber/copal. Real amber and copal will leave an incense like smell on your palms after being rubbed. read more

They don't have any prices for their permanent bracelets so I had no idea what to expect but I knew I wanted 14k gold, and I was most interested in a Cuban chain. This could have been a case of miscommunication coupled with the fact I don't like confrontation, but when I asked about the price I swore I was told ~$250. That seemed reasonable to me, I've been looking into Cuban chains and that was the price point I was seeing for about that size in 14k. When it came to checkout the price was $2,450 for just the permanent bracelet.....I was in a rush and again, don't love confrontation, so I paid and left but I feel like I seriously over paid for this tiny light weight chain. I was planning on getting more bracelets and jewelry plus some new piercings but after this I don't know if I trust their prices. I think I may use them to find cool jewelers, but purchase elsewhere. It's my fault I didn't double check the price, I take ownership in that. I would just caution against the permanent jewelry, at least learn from my mistake and get the price in writing not just verbally. Update: wow that was a super fast response! They reached out to me after seeing my review. Thank you so much Nadia for your call. I can tell you all really care about your customers. Looking forward to coming back this weekend. Additional side notes, I really appreciate the care they put into fitting the jewelry for customers. I've also have had things shipped to me and their packaging is lovely with nice presentation. Even their shipping box feels lux. Those little details and the quick response to my post has brought me back around and I will absolutely be a repeat customer. Extremely disappointing experience with Brilliant Earth San Francisco. On June 10, my husband and I…read morevisited the San Francisco showroom and selected an engagement ring with a 1.5-carat round center diamond, with a total price of aprox. $4,000. The next day, we requested only one change: increasing the round center diamond from 1.5 to 2 carats. My husband was charged that day for approximately $2,000 (We never requested a different diamond shape or different ring) After a month of waiting, we were told that an emerald-cut ring valued at more than $12,000 had arrived for us. That was not the ring we selected, requested, or authorized. We immediately told them that this was not our ring. After that, they stopped contacting us. They did not provide a solution, issue a refund, explain what happened to the approximately $2,000 already charged to my husband's card, or give us any reliable information about our actual order. Because no one was responding or giving us updates, I had to schedule another appointment and contact the company myself. After we explained the situation again, we were told to wait another three weeks. They later contacted my husband asking for additional payment, but we still have no ring, no refund, no reliable completion date, and no proactive communication. Every time we contact them, we are simply told to wait another three weeks. An engagement ring should be part of a joyful and meaningful experience. Instead, this process has been stressful, confusing, and extremely disappointing. It's going to be 3 months after the original order and payment, and we are still waiting. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Brilliant Earth, especially to anyone who needs their ring by a specific date and expect a pleasant, trustworthy experience during such an important and meaningful moment in their lives. After chatting with Lily for a bit about the bracelet, she suggested I could swap out the diamond for an aquamarine on the piece of the bracelet that was our birth moon phase - me, with a waning crescent and hers with a waxing gibbous. Genius! We decided to go forward with it, and had two beautiful bracelets made by Melissa with a little wink to our life long friendship. I couldn't be more pleased with the result, and neither could my friend. I love No. 3 so much because whoever you work with truly cares about what you're making and truly cares about beautiful jewelry. Right in the middle of…read moredowntown surrounded by big stores and busy streets, Union square feels like a peaceful little spot where you can put a pause on the chaos of the city. The lawn is always green and beautiful, perfect for letting my fur baby run around and play (or potty) and you will always see people enjoying the space, stretched out reading or talking with friends or just soaking up the peace. One of my favorite things about Union square is the art. The giant hearts are iconic in San Francisco and they're always being repainted and reimagined by different artists, so no matter how many times you come here, you will always see something new. I've seen so many versions over the years but I still stop to look at them every time I'm here because there is always something new. The hearts the statues, the occasional pop-up installations or performances, the square always feels alive. There is also always something going on. On my last visit here there were ping pong tables set up everywhere with people playing. I saw juggling classes being offered and arts programs for kids with people gathered around having a good time. There was a reading area and books brought in on carts. They even still had up there holiday backdrop that looks like it was put there just for people to use for the perfect insta shot. There are plenty of tables and benches scattered around so it's easy to grab a seat and stay a while. Even if you're just passing through and you need to rest your dogs for a few minutes, this is the perfect spot. I spent more than a few afternoons here people watching or enjoying a snack from the little stand nearby. It's really a great place to spend some time and a must do if you are in San Francisco. On the weekends you will find people trying to usher you onto bus tours or maybe sell you souvenirs, but you might also witness an event or see straight performers so you never really know what you're going to get. This is a place for visitors and locals wiith nice surroundings where you can really get a feel for and just to take in the city.
