You admit your mistakes yourself. All you had to say was "I was not aware that you hadn't been informed, and for that I apologize." If you're the business owner, shouldn't you be overseeing the communication? I believe the reason you "chose" not to work with us (and it's mutual, don't forget) is that what you call "problems from miles away" is a woman who has standards and holds people accountable. If you avoid that, it says a lot about the kind of job you would do. If you were confident you would do a good job, you wouldn't recoil. If you can't accept honest criticism, maybe don't keep engaging on Yelp. Bye.

I also saw he kept the tip for himself, I should of paid the employee who was doing the work. Also after they left my apartment they took 2 hours to drop off the ubox when we live across the street from uhaul. Pedro complained and refused to load our washer and dryer 'because it would take up the entire u box'. I asked them. To stake boxes 6 high, also refused and wanted to control what I did with my moving pads. All and all if you use Torres be prepared to need extra labor hours and for lazy or lacking customer service. I was impressed with Torres 2 years ago but now would never recommend them even to my worst enemy. Once I posted my review Pedro decided to text me about defamation of his business. So I'm making sure others are warned. As he over booked himself the day he moved me and rushed my service. Delayed the return of my ubox. He didn't coordinate moving time with me blamed uhaul for opening hours when I told him uhaul opened at 7am. Him and his crew showed up at 9:45 and he texted and was on the phone while his employee moved most items himself.

For Atascadero area - (Drivers - Ralph and Marvin)…read more We had a bit of an unexpected disaster in our garage yesterday and needed stuff taken away ASAP. We have a bunch of family coming to town tomorrow so the timing was awful. I made an online appt. late in the afternoon yesterday and received a time frame of Noon-2PM for today. Ralph called well within the time frame and let me know when he was expecting to arrive and he was on the dot. I really had no idea how much it was going to be as they don't give a quote until they see what you have. I appreciated that we were not obligated to use the service after they provided the quote. It was more then I was planning but once we factored in how many trips to the dump it would take for us to do it, the time (which we did not have) and the possibility of getting another flat tire from being out at the dump, like last time, we realized it was worth the price. Ralph and Marvin were very professional, polite and got to work right away. I have never used a service like this before but I would have no hesitation using them again if we ever need to. I will defiantly recommend them based on my experience and the wonderful customer service we received from these gentlemen.

I called customer service four times and they said the local contractor was not answering calls to him. He did not reply to their emails. He never called me. This rotten company seriously inconvenienced me. This happened today, a Saturday. I could not take the seven hour drive home until the junk was removed. I have to stay another night. Terrible customer service, no action when I reported this, they would not let me talk to a supervisor, no apology and, as of 5:35 pm, no one from the company or local contractor has called. DO NOT USE 1800GOTJUNK if it is important they arrive on time and get the job done the day you schedule.

He came over to show that the dump trailer was empty, then he had his crew start pushing and squeezing every square inch into the dumpster to ensure we don't waste any space, and was up front and honest on the effort and time his crew spent in hauling all the stuff away and worked with us on the pricing which is fair to both of us.
