It had been years since I had a cleaning service so I told him I wanted to continue to look around. He was not pushy and was very polite. I got quotes from other companies and individuals. I looked on yelp, thumbtack, and nextdoor app.. I went through many different avenues. All the quoted amounts I received were pretty similar, but his professionalism, detailed estimate, and punctuality made me choose his company. The day prior to the service he emailed me the invoice as well as the time the crew would be at my house. The following day 3 ladies and a supervisor arrived exactly when he said they would and they got started immediately. They cleaned my house for about 5 hours. I came to check on them at one point and they were hand washing the windows, had the oven and stove top apart and meticulously cleaning it, and on a ladder cleaning the vents. They were all friendly and came off kind as well. When they were finished we did the walk through together and all I can say is that I was incredibly impressed. Just a few things that pleasantly surprised me were, the old school hand washing of the windows, removed everything off the shelves and cleaned under the items/organized them, cleaned the washing machine, even dusted the bed frames.. Just things I didn't even think about and never do.. my husband also went around and checked every switch and baseboard.. every surface was clean. My house now feels cleaner than the day we moved in and we love it. We are scheduled for future services and looking forward to them. Thank you so much! But before the pictures were taken by they realtor I also did additional cleaning myself. Our house is deep cleaned every year so I don't understand why she thinks it would be so hard to clean it? I paid $500 to waste 2 days and to end up cleaning a lot myself. The "free" work was because they slacked off, rushed, and did not complete the job the first time. Original: I do not recommend unless you want to waste time and money. The whole experience was so disappointing . First, the timing: I was told that there was a 4 hour window, that they would be here from 8-12. They did not show until 2pm - after I called multiple times. Second, the quality of cleaning was awful. It hardly looked like it had been cleaned, let alone "deep cleaned". There were so many areas that were overlooked. The railings were not even dusted. And this was with 4 workers over 4 hours. Our place is not even 1,400 sqft so I'm not sure what they were doing during that time. This cost us $500. I am adding a star because after complaining- the supervisor/owner did come out and had them re-clean the house. However in hiring cleaners, I would like it to be done correctly the first time. Having to reach out, complain, send pictures, etc. was not worth it at all. Definitely wish we had gone with another company. We did not expect our home to look brand new once the clean was finished but we did expect that with 16 hours of labor the baseboards would be clean, the light fixtures would be dusted, and there would not be any mold in the bathrooms. Now Teri is threatening legal action against us via private messages in Yelp. Super unprofessional! Original post: Super disappointed in the service we received. We purchased a new home in Albuquerque and were moving from out of state. We wanted to make sure that we did not have to spend days cleaning before we moved in so hired Maid O' Matic based on a recommendation from our realtor. The quote came in at over $1,200 including cleaning of the carpets that are on the second floor of our home. The prior home owners had cleaned the home before close so it was not a foreclosure or anything like that. We expected that for $1200 the house would be pretty spotless. We were told that we would get before and after pictures of the clean since we were out of state. The pictures never materialized even after several requests. We did however have before pictures from our inspections and final walk-through and we know that the difference was not significant. The good news was the kitchen. It was really well cleaned and especially the cupboards they did a great job on. The rest of the house was a different story. The baseboard were super dirty . I was able to clean some of the remaining dirt just using a rag and water. The windows which were supposed to be cleaned looked like they had not been touched. The bathrooms (to be fair to them I am sure there was years of hard water maintenance neglect from the prior owners) were not very clean either. We spent a hours on our own and were able to get them in better shape. When we called to complain they did send a few people back over for a few hours and at least addressed the baseboards....those looked a lot better after the second round. I gave the second star for their willingness to come back but I still can't help but feel like we were taken advantage of because we were out of state. We were hoping to be able to use them for bi-weekly cleans going forward but after this first experience just could not do it.

Ok, I'm editing my original review for these guys from 1 star to 5. I normally don't do that so I…read morepromise I will explain why so this will be a bit of a long review. We were sort of at a loss for what to do since not many places seem to do this type of work so we gave them a second chance. Not only did the owner show up on time for the quote, he was extraordinarily helpful and gave us some good tips on other surfaces and how to maintain. Extremely knowledgeable, very nice guy. They were very accommodating with scheduling and the day of they were on time and ready to roll. We initially called them to restore and reseal our stone tile that was in horrible shape from not being cleaned or maintained properly from the previous owner. We tried everything we could and just couldn't get it clean. After the visit and asking some questions, we ended up with the trifecta of things we didn't even know he did. Not because he was pushy by any means, he actually told us how to do it ourselves but we asked if he did work like that because it would take us FOREVER and would be one of those weekend projects we would procrastinate (not to mention the cost of materials we'd have to get and only use a tiny amount of). What we ended up with was deep cleaning and resealing of the stone (travertine) tile, polishing and resealing of our granite countertops, and carpet cleaning of the high traffic areas. Yup. They do all that. And his prices were extremely reasonable. The guys were great- extremely professional and friendly. The tools they use are pretty cool as well and they explained what each of them was doing. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend them. So, a couple of tips: - Follow up with them if you don't get an immediate response. There were a couple of things that were forgotten but quickly remedied. I think they're just busy and a family-run business so some communication details get lost in the shuffle. (hey, remember that quote you said you were going to send by email?...) - We thought it was going to take at least half a day but we moved everything we could off the surfaces which seemed to cut the time in half, if not more. I think they normally do move a lot of things for folks because they seemed surprised. lol We also vacuumed everything right before they came over. - If you have granite or quartz countertops and have never resealed/polished them- do it. I don't think ours had ever been done and they are as smooth as glass now (more so than they were). - Ask them questions! They're a wealth of knowledge and will give you all sorts of good info for maintaining the surfaces and how to take care of them. - When they do the first pass with the cleaner on your tile, brick, or whatever you will feel like a dirty little hamster. I promise you. It was so nasty but have solace in the fact that they've probably seen worse. LOL

The travertine stairs in our home had been damaged by the previous owners. Apparently someone had…read moretried to clean them but instead etched the surface, leaving black marks where dirt had settled. Several companies came out and just scratched their heads, not knowing what to do. Jerry and his son from New Again knew exactly what had happened and how to restore them. It took a few weeks before they could get back out because they are in such demand. They even had to order a special sanding pad for my job but were very fair in their price, considering the extent of the work they did. The stairs look great now! I'm attaching photos because seeing is believing. New Again is fair, honest, and knowledgeable. My only criticism is that that his email quote directed me to a website that charged me the full amount before the work was done. However, I will be calling them in the future when I need other surfaces restored.
