I hired Paul to pick up some compost and some mulch from Soilutions and to empty it near my…read morevegetable garden as I am a senior and moving things like soil is difficult for me. I needed the compost dumped in one spot as I am sharing it with my neighbor and the mulch in a different spot closer to my garden. He picked up the materials in a timely manner, dumped them in the 2 designated areas and even put a tarp under each pile and the two materials did not get mixed together at all even though they were in the same trailer. I was impressed that with such a big trailer he was able to dump the mulch within feet of the gate I will be using to bring it into the garden. Paul has also done elm removal for me and other yard work and always does a thorough job and does not leave a mess behind or wreck anything like bricks or pavers or other yard decor in the process of removing the elms and carries away all of the debris. Paul did a great job in a timely manner.

Deissy arranged for a consultation immediately and even let me reschedule last minute as I was stuck out of town. Her husband and son came by for an estimate and came up with a 'quick and dirty' fix, and had the door fixed the next day. They added an extra metal plate to make up the gap. Now, I have no idea if $450 is a fair price for the job. But I chose not to get a second estimate, and I was happy with how quickly it was done. Do your research on pricing because I can't tell you if it was high or not. I know that they were pleasant, accommodating, kind and efficient, and it's great to see the whole family working together.

He left with a promise of having an estimate to me ASAP given the extenuating circumstances. To date, October 31, 2023, 3 WEEKS after coming to my home and many calls and texts from me, I still do not have an estimate. My last message on 10/30 was to please send me a quick text or give a quick call to let me know if they've decided they don't want the job. (Some repairs and also painting my entire home.) I mean, come one, it's just a little common courtesy and professionalism to let someone who's counting on an estimate that you've changed your mind about doing the job. Their silence speaks volumes. Unfortunate that contractors are like this. There will come a time when things are slow and maybe they'll wish they'd have treated potential customers better.
