I paid $500 to waste 2 days and to end up cleaning a lot myself. The "free" work was because they slacked off, rushed, and did not complete the job the first time. Original: I do not recommend unless you want to waste time and money. The whole experience was so disappointing . First, the timing: I was told that there was a 4 hour window, that they would be here from 8-12. They did not show until 2pm - after I called multiple times. Second, the quality of cleaning was awful. It hardly looked like it had been cleaned, let alone "deep cleaned". There were so many areas that were overlooked. The railings were not even dusted. And this was with 4 workers over 4 hours. Our place is not even 1,400 sqft so I'm not sure what they were doing during that time. This cost us $500. I am adding a star because after complaining- the supervisor/owner did come out and had them re-clean the house. However in hiring cleaners, I would like it to be done correctly the first time. Having to reach out, complain, send pictures, etc. was not worth it at all. Definitely wish we had gone with another company. We have used a couple in abq over the years and never has it been this bad.

We purchased a new home in Albuquerque and were moving from out of state. We wanted to make sure that we did not have to spend days cleaning before we moved in so hired Maid O' Matic based on a recommendation from our realtor. The quote came in at over $1,200 including cleaning of the carpets that are on the second floor of our home. The prior home owners had cleaned the home before close so it was not a foreclosure or anything like that. We expected that for $1200 the house would be pretty spotless. We were told that we would get before and after pictures of the clean since we were out of state. The pictures never materialized even after several requests. We did however have before pictures from our inspections and final walk-through and we know that the difference was not significant. The good news was the kitchen. It was really well cleaned and especially the cupboards they did a great job on. The rest of the house was a different story. The baseboard were super dirty . I was able to clean some of the remaining dirt just using a rag and water. The windows which were supposed to be cleaned looked like they had not been touched. The bathrooms (to be fair to them I am sure there was years of hard water maintenance neglect from the prior owners) were not very clean either. We spent a hours on our own and were able to get them in better shape. When we called to complain they did send a few people back over for a few hours and at least addressed the baseboards....those looked a lot better after the second round. I gave the second star for their willingness to come back but I still can't help but feel like we were taken advantage of because we were out of state. We were hoping to be able to use them for bi-weekly cleans going forward but after this first experience just could not do it.

It had been years since I had a cleaning service so I told him I wanted to continue to look around. He was not pushy and was very polite. I got quotes from other companies and individuals. I looked on yelp, thumbtack, and nextdoor app.. I went through many different avenues. All the quoted amounts I received were pretty similar, but his professionalism, detailed estimate, and punctuality made me choose his company. The day prior to the service he emailed me the invoice as well as the time the crew would be at my house. The following day 3 ladies and a supervisor arrived exactly when he said they would and they got started immediately. They cleaned my house for about 5 hours. I came to check on them at one point and they were hand washing the windows, had the oven and stove top apart and meticulously cleaning it, and on a ladder cleaning the vents. They were all friendly and came off kind as well. When they were finished we did the walk through together and all I can say is that I was incredibly impressed. Just a few things that pleasantly surprised me were, the old school hand washing of the windows, removed everything off the shelves and cleaned under the items/organized them, cleaned the washing machine, even dusted the bed frames.. Just things I didn't even think about and never do.. my husband also went around and checked every switch and baseboard.. every surface was clean. My house now feels cleaner than the day we moved in and we love it. We are scheduled for future services and looking forward to them. Thank you so much! I needed the compost dumped in one spot as I am sharing it with my neighbor and the mulch in a different spot closer to my garden. He picked up the materials in a timely manner, dumped them in the 2 designated areas and even put a tarp under each pile and the two materials did not get mixed together at all even though they were in the same trailer. I was impressed that with such a big trailer he was able to dump the mulch within feet of the gate I will be using to bring it into the garden. Paul has also done elm removal for me and other yard work and always does a thorough job and does not leave a mess behind or wreck anything like bricks or pavers or other yard decor in the process of removing the elms and carries away all of the debris. The delivered and beat her up expectations! My mom had so much trouble in the past with movers damaging many things during the move and she couldn't be happier that Joe's Moving didn't damage a thing! In addition to that, she said the crew was very very polite and kind, worked quickly but still very cautious not to damage any items or the home moving in or out, and did a great job organizing and loading up and unloading everything she needed moved.
