We started using AA+ in October 2025. Initially, the cleanings went well, but progressively…read moredeclined. Our first issue was timing of cleanings. Multiple times I asked for afternoon cleanings to adjust to my work schedule or my granddaughter's schedule. They struggled to schedule a time that was convenient for us. Many times they would come much earlier or much later than the scheduled time. That makes it very difficult when you have children that you need to take out of the house while it's being cleaned. Cleanings started becoming lackluster. For example, the shower would get sprayed with cleaner but not scrubbed so it actually looked dirtier after it was "cleaned." Most times we had to re-make our bed because they only put the top sheet on the bed but wouldn't tuck it in at the foot of the bed and corners. When we mentioned these things, we got apologies but the habits did not change. In May 2026 we got charged an extra $15 for a "porch clean" that we did not authorize. Not only did we get the extra charge, but when I went upstairs, I discovered that the entire upstairs had not been cleaned at all. They refunded the money. This is when we decided we would give one last chance. Then on the most recent visit July 2026, we came home to our back door unlocked and our fireplace on!!! 2 safety hazards!!! We were so upset. It was 96° outside that day, and the heat of the fireplace was adding to the work of the air conditioning trying to cool the house. But more importantly than that, we would never leave our fireplace on unattended!! This was the last straw for us. We could no longer trust that our home would be safe. We cancelled our service immediately.

He uses a 10:1 light bleach solution that didn't ruin our beautiful color home and then we added the driveway and pavers in our backyard for a very reasonable up-charge. (Sooo worth it!) A close friend was hospitalized in the middle of a self-move, and we needed to find movers FAST to help. I was referred to Dez and Christ Movers from a maintenance man at my friend's old building. I was nervous about hiring last-minute movers without having a chance to do my research. Sometimes things go very badly when you are desperate, but wow, if ever there was a time to feel blessed, it was now. I called, and while I did not get an answer, (they were wrapping up a job) I took a chance and sent a text to the office phone, and they responded back! They thankfully had same-day availability. What a huge relief after a really tough week. They do require a $50 deposit to secure the job, and yes, it was a risk to pay it without speaking on the phone first. Even though the correspondence was over text, I willingly paid it because it was a small ask for the situation we were in. When I tell you I needed someone fast, I mean like immediately. My friend had exceeded his move-out date and was stuck in the hospital unable to do anything. I sent the Zelle. Dez and Tonya, the co-owners kept in touch with me about arrival time and their two guys were able to show up within about 1.5 hours. Obviously this won't be everyone's experience, because I'm sure they will only get busier as word gets out about their amazing work. Truly lucky that they could fit us in. They handled my friend's belongings with care and patience. The team communicated well along the entire move. They are mindful of visualizing space in order to get the logistics right for how to load and unload the truck, and how to get everything in the right order going on and coming back off of the truck. They used moving pads and blankets to take care of my friend's heavy wood furniture. It was a long walk down a hallway to the freight elevator and the move took a couple of hours longer than originally quoted. The price was very fair in the beginning and in the end. I got a quote, and in case moving is not something that you do often, just always be prepared for the quoted amount to change. This is the norm because unforeseen things happen. The original quote was for 4 hours and two men, but my friend had a lot of items and a much longer distance to the truck than they were able to see over text. I was just so appreciative of everything. A 4-hour, 2-man job ended up being a 6-hour 3-man job, but Dez adjusted the price in a very fair and reasonable manner. In the end, the final price was well-within what we were bracing ourselves for, all circumstances considered! Everyone was very kind and extremely professional. Dez has a really great energy about him and an amazing story of overcoming a lot. While I won't be moving homes myself anytime soon, I do look forward to hiring Dez for his other businesses in other home and renovation services! When you meet someone, shake their hand, and just know they're trustworthy, and then they come through, that is how good business is really done. Dez and Tonya are a truly great business pairing, and I would recommend Christ Movers with confidence every time. Also, while this was an in-town move, they also have the capacity to do out-of-state moves! So when I am able to leave Charleston behind someday, I know exactly who I will be calling.

*** DO NOT USE****…read more I hired this moving company to pack two PODS for a cross country move. I wanted to hire a "professional" packing company to maximize space and fit my belongings in the PODS. I had two major downsides with this company. The owner and the packing job. The packing of the pods was very unprofessional. They left approximately 3 FEET of open space at the top of each pod. This allowed items to shift during the move and alot of stuff not to fit. I had to spend two days repacking the PODS to fit my stuff. Towards the end of them packing when they realized 1/4 of my stuff was not going to fit, one of the workers said " this is why I always pack". So essentially I could of saved the money and just packed myself for the unprofessional packing job they did. The major issue is the owner and lies. During the move my $2000 king bed frame was damaged when the workers left it free standing on my driveway. Luckily I was outside to witness when the wind blew it over to crack the wood and knock metal pieces off of it. The worker immediately contacted Dezzy ? The owner and informed him of what happened. Dezzy told me on the phone that it was "an act of nature" and they are not responsible for items that they are not "actively" moving. The guys left it unsecured on the driveway to make space in the pods. I advised Dezzy that it was not even wrapped in a moving blanket. Dezzy agreed to cover the damages once I advised him of that. I heard him tell the worker on speakerphone after that "they need to wrap everything because since it wasn't wrapped he did not have an excuse not to pay" . Anyways his word does not mean much because it has been 4 months and they never paid the insurance claim. They also have not responded to multiple emails about the matter and I am out the money. AVOID and pay alittle more for better service!

I've used this company twice, and both times they were fantastic…read more The first experience I had, they did have to move my time due to a storm the day before, but offered an extra guy for free for having to reschedule. This made my move that much more efficient. My second experience, they moved my then-boyfriend and I (we were in separate units) from our apartment complex to our new house. Super quick and careful with our stuff. Booking is made easily online or by phone--you can book the number of movers you want for the amount of time you need them and pay all at once. Or pay initially for the first hour upfront and then pay afterwards the amount of time they actually took to move you in. Highly recommend!

We used these guys in the past and had good service so we hired them again earlier this summer to…read moreload/pack a 28' upack.com semi trailer for our move. When they couldn't figure out how to use the ramp that came with the trailer it should have been a red flag... they decided to load the trailer without the ramp, just lifting everything up. Odd, but not a big deal for me. We bought/provided over 60 moving blankets and a dozen paper pads for our furniture to be wrapped up safely. Part of the labor we hired them for was to wrap the furniture with these pads. They wrapped a couple of pieces but didn't really tape the blankets around.. just a couple of loops of shrink wrap and they called it done. We started seeing them move furniture out of the house unwrapped and when we questioned them, we were told they were wrapping the furniture in the trailer, that they had taken a bunch of the blankets out already. We were basically told to relax, they had it under control. We didn't rush the guys.. they were getting paid by the hour so there was no reason to rush, but they were done fairly quickly. But not after almost punching a hole in our drywall when they lost control of a dresser coming down the stairs. I had to run to Lowe's to pick up stuff to patch the multiple large dents (not dings, dents!) in the drywall and they didn't offer to cover that. Not a huge deal... it was like $10 in stuff from Lowe's. Fast forward a week later and the trailer is down in Florida ready to be unloaded. I opened the door and found a couple of broken ceramic pots laying up against the door. Ok, not the end of the world... but they weren't wrapped at all. Then I saw stacks of blankets... many of them still in the plastic wrap that they came in (new, unused). Then I noticed we had furniture that just had a blanket draped over it but not even secured to it. There were grease marks on furniture where they were resting up against garage tools -- with no blankets around the furniture at all! My $3000 pottery barn sectional couch was even being used as a prop to hold up a bicycle... by the pedal (see picture!) To this day I have no idea how the bike pedal did not puncture the fabric of the couch... but it only dented it. A miracle. There was other minor damage to furniture... dining room table legs unwrapped banging up against each other. Really.. .nothing between them. Why wouldn't they use the blankets we had available for them to use?? Another questionable choice was leaning a concrete bench end up against my leather sofa with nothing in between (see picture!). Even the sofa cushions were taken and wedged between the wall of the trailer and other furniture.. leaving grease and other dirt on the couch pillows and cushions. Oh and they broke a leg off of a dresser... and i had a sign taped to the front saying it had a weak leg. Didn't matter, apparently. Long story short - everything that we packed and boxed up made the trip just fine. But the things they were paid to wrap up and load were haphazardly put in the truck, unwrapped with blankets even though we had 2 dozen left over unused! They were just straight up lazy. You can use these guys to move you into a new place or unload some heavy equipment.... but if you care about your furniture and goods then I wouldn't recommend them at all. I stewed about this for a while trying to decide if it was better to just keep silent and leave no review or to speak out and warn others.
