We couldn't have done this without them, they were amazing. We sold our vacation home and didn't have much time to get everything out, especially from the huge 3 story barn. These guys were strong, fast and extremely helpful. Exceptional company to work with. read more

A very polite young man came to the house. I showed him what I had to haul away. Apparently, it wasnt much to their compamy. We agreed to a price and he did an excellent job. read more

Honest, fast, effective and reasonably priced! Junk King Rochester was an amazing company to work with. Sterlyn and his company and crew were very responsive, easy to book, very efficient and the price was right. Sterlyn didn't want payment until afterwards to make sure that I was satisfied with his job after it was completed. We can't thank him enough for clearing away the construction debris and other items that were in my garage for over 10 years. It's great to do business with a local company that I actually talked with on the phone after my initial call to their 800 number. He left the area completely clear and free of all debris. I highly recommend Junk King Rochester. I will use them again for all of my junk removal needs. read more

Similar experience with others about no-shows for appointments. I made an appointment from 11 AM-1 PM for today, and so we organized our morning schedule around this time range. Waited until 12:50 PM and checked through the Yelp conversation. They didn't seem to understand what's going on and was going to "call their team". They then replied with a number I need to call to set up another appointment. I'm so confused and frustrated by their process, as it leaves customers hanging in the air. So I just decided to go elsewhere. If I make an appointment for a two-house window, I assume they would come within that window. Otherwise, what's the point of making an appointment? read more

They low-balled the estimate. They charged us almost double what they estimated. If you're the experts and look at what needs to be picked up, to miss the estimate by so much is negligence and incompetence. Unless that's your business model. At that point, I was at their mercy (everything loaded in the truck) and had to pay it. That might be what they are counting on. read more

The worst junk removal company in Rochester, scheduled appointment, altered my day to accommodate them, 3 hours after appointment time no show, no call, no text, no answering phones !!! Finally got thru to call center and they were rude, unprofessional and just ignorant, said they would contact the franchisee, nothing. Do yourself a big favor and call a more professional company like 800 Junk, they came an were done gone in an hour !! read more

They were quick to respond and come out. Very efficient. I had a whole truck full of boxes to get rid of and I think they were done in 15 min. read more

Junk King was easy to book with. They have an online booking button which we utilized, giving us the pickup time and day we wanted for the pick up. Additionally, the website said you get $20 off the price if we booked online. Which we did. We thought that was a nice perk. Unfortunately they didn't come through with that $20 off. We called junk kings about that and the guy on the phone said he didn't see any indication we booked online. He put us on hold while he said he went to get his manager - twice. But he couldn't find him. At that point he promised his manager would call us back. He never did. So don't count on that $20 off. The truck came on time and the guys in the truck called 20 minutes before they got here as junk kings promised. Sweet. However, I thought it was inappropriate when one of them asked to use my bathroom. Ive always thought it a bad idea to let strangers to use my bathroom. Aside from only letting family and guests use our personal space, I'm suspicious of people asking to enter my home using a bathroom or phone excuse. No one knows what someone is capable of. So in off chance the guy really didn't need to use the bathroom, but wanted to just look around for valuables, I directed him to the rental office about 300 feet away. He said it's ok. He'd hold it. But when the truck drove away, it didn't turn toward the rental office. They left the property. I thought THAT was suspicious. read more
