Tyler and Katherine both have customer service backgrounds. When attempting to use different junk removal companies in their area they found several were unreliable and never showed up. Getting a company to actually show up was another story. Booking windows came and went. Calls went unreturned. One company cancelled twice in the same week. They weren't alone — friends and neighbours had the same complaints.
The conversation that started JunkDirect wasn't complicated. If simply showing up, communicating clearly, and charging what you quoted was enough to stand out — they could do all three easily. They registered JunkDirect.ca in 2026 on two commitments: book with us and we'll be there, and the price we quote is the price you pay.

Meet the Business Owner: Tyler B.
Tyler spent years in customer-facing roles and knew the frustration of calling a business and being left waiting — or worse, handed a bill that looked nothing like the quote. When the junk removal industry kept failing him as a customer, he stopped waiting for someone else to fix it.
