costs! Do not trust a single word this company tells you…read more They are running a textbook predatory pricing scam and employ people who lack basic human decency. I was completely misinformed about their removal costs. When the crew arrived on-site, they hit me with a staggering, extortionate charge of $230 for literally two cardboard boxes. Because their on-site pricing was so absurd, I rightfully refused to let them take my couch and loveseat. To prove just how fraudulent and corrupt their business practices are: the company later emailed me a formal quote claiming the total cost to remove the couch, the loveseat, and the two boxes was $398 plus tax. Look at that math. They charged $230 for two light boxes, but claim a massive couch and heavy loveseat combined only cost an extra $168? It is a blatant bait-and-switch. They pull numbers out of thin air on-site to scam people out of as much money as possible. As disgusting as their financial fraud is, the behavior of the driver and the swamper was infinitely worse. When I rejected their inflated on-site pricing for the furniture, they actually stood there and made jokes about the fact that I wasn't willing to pay "rape charges." Let that sink in. Representatives of this company think throwing around casual jokes about sexual assault is an acceptable, funny response to a customer rejecting their predatory rates. This company is a disgrace from the top down. They use deceitful, moving-target pricing tactics to fleece customers, and they hire garage-tier staff who bring hostile, abusive language onto your property. I am utterly appalled. Avoid them at all costs--there are plenty of reputable junk removal companies out there that don't scam you.

When i confronted the driver he denied it, however i had taken pictures right after it happened and when we got to the new place i also showed him where on the moving truck he hit, took pictures of that. Again the driver denied it. I contacted head office and they said it would be taken care of, great. However for 6 months they have avoided making it right. I have sent many emails to both the driver and the office, the driver as never responded and the office seems to just do a standard reply "We will check with the driver". From what i can tell OO Movers just sub's out the work to independent drivers, had i known that i would have used another company to avoid any middle man just incase something like this happened. I would not use these guys again, because you do not know who you actually get for the move and if something goes wrong, it will be a long and frustration experience to collect. It cost me just has much to fix my roommates truck as the move cost me. The only reason i am giving 2 stars is because they did get my things moved in a timely manor. R.

I ended up taking the three-man quote (price) vs two-man, this was quoted cheaper than the other company, thinking the three-man with a higher rate will still work out better in terms of hours charged than two men. I was disappointed to learn that the guys that moved me were not owners, but workers for a boss who was so comfortable in charging me more than 3 hours over my quoted time. I paid for their breaks, lunch, and watched them worked one guy harder because he was a trainee, one was the wrapper, wrapped every item at a cost to me (materials and labour), the other guy - well you get the idea. I don't have anything against the workers because I understand there is no motivation - (they weren't owners!) and I think they were given a number of hours to complete the move. Having said that, it defeats the purpose of hiring owners operators when the workers can't make a decision on based on the situation of the move and had to follow orders. If it was up to them as owners, they would have seen I was very cooperative and helped move the small boxes because I know it's not an easy job. One guy expressed to me that he didn't like doing it. My neighbour came to inquire about them and asked when they arrived because they were still at my old home a few hours after arrival. She didn't seem impress. Overall, they were slow and inefficient. I can't find a few boxes. And do movers always take a detour! Not recommending.
