I went to this high school from 2004-2008 and it was the most corrupt institution I've ever attended. In my freshman year, the teacher (turned principal) Mr. Eric Rubalcava blindfolded us (his religion class) and washed our feet. Yes, he blindfolded us and washed each foot individually. It was a weird experience but I didn't put much thought behind it since he said it was to "show us that he was like Jesus" and willing to wash our feet. Throughout my time there, I witnessed teachers call female students "whores" on Free Dress days and then apologize, but justify their judgement based on their clothing attire. I also knew of a couple of Panamanian kids that were recruited to play basketball. It was almost the end of the year before they realized that these kids were both 20 and 21, but around 15-16 year old girls for over a semester. The school wasn't so much of a "sports" school then, but a lot of teachers were fond of the student/athletes - giving them passing grades so that they would be able to play their respective sport. I don't know how things are running now, but hopefully things are better. (Although, after Mr. Rubalcava became principal, it seems like everything went haywire, being that he is a man of no authority.) I wouldn't recommend this High School as a schooling choice. It hides behind the Catholic private school title it's given itself. It's all about the $$$ - of course, this is just the opinion of a student that "would never make it in the real world." read more
