I had to wait out the entire weekend until 4/21/2025 to press this entire USPS office and its nasty, rude workers because USPS doesn't hold them accountable since they're parasites protected by the state . My blood was boiling from anger, with how upset and dissatisfied these USPS workers made my mother, I had no choice but to show up in person and press this entire office. My mother is not a rude elderly woman, and she is certainly not tech savvy like the younger generation, so she requires a bit of patience in learning how to access the QR code to print out her pre-paid shipping label. One of the USPS workers at this office had the nerve to tell my mother with a spiteful and smug attitude to "Go do it yourself" because her primary language is Spanish. My mother at least tried to communicate with the USPS worker in English and got denied service anyways. Ridgewood is a generational, immigrant dominant community, so to act like this USPS office has no employees who speak Spanish to help provide quality service to my mother who was only there to print out the pre-paid label and drop off her package, is distasteful and every employee at this USPS should be fired. USPS is funded through taxpayer money and both my mother and I have done our duties as U.S. CITIZENS in paying our taxes. It is THEIR JOB as PUBLIC EMPLOYEES to serve the American public who pays them. In this video which is now viral clip you will see my interaction, checking this entire USPS because what they did to my elderly mother was wrong and USPS is lucky one of their employees isn't missing teeth for the way they treated my mother. This USPS deserves no stars and I certainly recommend going to the post office on Fresh Pond instead of this dumpster fire of a post office, who's employees are insufferable pieces of work (For lack of a better word) who know no bounds and are incapable of respecting the people who fund their salary.

One time their label printer in the self service machine wasn't working(happens often!), so I asked…read moresomeone(short Hispanic lady) at the desk to print the label, and she did. She looked annoyed, but she did it. And THEN, it happened again on a different day, and this different person(large black lady) at the desk said she can't do that, I have to go to the pharmacy across the street and pay $4 to print this damn thing. I told her they've printed it for me before and she just had this shitty attitude and refused. I try so hard to be nice to any employee anywhere because I'm not a dick. But her attitude in an attempt to be lazy was soooo frustrating. As I left the building she even shouted "this girl trying to tell me how to do my job, the f*ck I look like?" I just ignored it but was sooo close to shouting back "A postal worker! You look like someone who works at the post office!" I did end up just doing the pharmacy thing, but I regret not pushing further and asking for a supervisor, because wtf?? In that entire building, that one self service machine is the only label printer??? Yeah right.

US Post Office - I tried to take this the best I could. This person is probably in her 20's/30s and refused to give me her name. She's black with dark hair.

Nestled right…read moreon the Queens-Brooklyn county line, in the far northwest corner of Ridgewood and well off the typical tourist path, this historic house museum offers a quiet, intimate escape with a fascinating story to tell. The collection inside is thoughtfully curated, showcasing artifacts that illuminate both the house's past and the surrounding neighborhood's rich history. The staff is warm and welcoming, and one guide in full period attire was not only gracious but impressively knowledgeable a wonderful touch that really brings the space to life. This is a must-visit for history buffs, preservation professionals, Ridgewood locals, or anyone exploring NYC who's craving an "out-of-the-way" spot to slow down, reflect, and soak in some Queens-centric history. Don't miss the "Arbitration Rock" on the grounds tucked inside a picket-fenced enclosure, it's an intriguing remnant of the historic boundary dispute that once defined the Ridgewood (Queens)-Bushwick (Brooklyn) border. A peaceful, educational, and surprisingly charming experience.

The staff there could not have been better stewards for the space or kinder shepherds to us as we worked out way through the planning, execution, and enjoyment of a wonderful event with friends and family. We are big DIYers and the gracious guidance of Virginia and others at Vander Ende-Onderdonk took exceptional care of us. A joyous event (and huge success for us) and cannot sing my praises enough for this gem of a location.
