Front desk was friendly, the dental office/equipment looked modern, and the dentists were efficient. Each procedure was explained and front desk helped with scheduling and often notifying for upcoming appointments. So the reason why I stopped going... I had a filling redone due to it coming off. However, I had pain around the same tooth for months. I couldn't eat on that side at all. I went back in for checkups to see if they can figure out what's going on. The head dentist told me to consider getting a crown since there seems to be a cracking on the tooth. They offered to cover the costs however I thought it was a bit extreme to get a crown from a routine filling. Over the next couple months, I would go back multiple times since the pain didn't go away. This included shaving part of the filling, redoing the filling, and trying to figure out my bite. And the final time I went there for a checkup, I was just told it could just be a neurological thing and almost made it sound like it was my fault and they can't do anything about it. The only reason why I kept going back was to give them the opportunity to fix what they had messed up. I ended up looking for another dentist and I told them my issue. They were able to figure what was wrong, and redid my filling. Now I have no pain.

They were able to help coordinate getting our X-rays from our prior office so that we did not have to take new X-rays. The hygienist was absolutely great and easy to work with. My husband and I both had the same dentist and absolutely loved him! He did the cleaning himself which was great and very thorough. He also did not try to upsell any cosmetic options which was refreshing. Straight to the point and overall fantastic experience! Hands down my best dental experience - Highly recommend!

On my third voicemail, I calmly mentioned that if I still did not receive a response, I would request Kaiser Medicare to reassign me to another dentist. I eventually received a return call from a male representative, but the interaction was unexpectedly rude and unprofessional from the beginning. When I answered the call, the male representative immediately responded in an irritated tone, asking, "What would you like from us?" After I politely asked who I was speaking with, he replied, "From the dental office. We're on lunch break. If you can't reach us, keep trying or ask AI to call us." I explained that I understood they were on lunch break, but that I had already left messages on three separate days and was expecting a callback. When I asked for his name, he refused, saying I "didn't need to know" it. The call ended when he hung up on me shortly after I informed him that I would contact KP Medicare to request a change of dental provider. I have interacted with many medical and dental offices both in the U.S. and abroad, and professional phone etiquette is usually standard practice. Sadly, this experience left a very negative first impression before I even became a patient. When I went to Yelp to review the feedback, I found that several of us have received unpleasant treatment from this clinic. I hope this clinic improves its communication and customer service moving forward, as professionalism and courtesy are extremely important in healthcare.

The clinic itself is modern, clean, and well-equipped. The setup is thoughtful, with TVs positioned in front of you while seated and even one above when you're lying down, which makes visits more comfortable. Location is also convenient, right across Serramonte Center, with its own parking lot--easy access every time. I've stayed with them even after becoming out-of-network due to a change in insurance.
