While waiting in the waiting room, you can actually hear the doctor chastise his patients. Red flag #1. Then, while I was waiting in the waiting room, someone came in and asked the doctor to sign some documents. The doctor came out and demanded that the patient pay him first before signing anything. I am leaving Optum because of their incompetence. I have been unable to access my patient portal since September after they changed platforms, it is now December and I still do not have access. I've called Optum weekly with no updates, requested to speak to supervisors on my ticket issue with no call back. Called the number provided from the customer excellence team and no one has been able to provide any help or updates. I even emailed their director of consumer experience and she just gave me another number to call. There isn't even an email to send a formal complaint to. I can't view messages which is my Drs main mode of communicating, I can't view my lab results, I can't even make appointments. I have called support every week to request updates, yet I have received no meaningful progress or timeline for resolution. Being unable to manage my care through the portal for this length of time is unacceptable, especially given the importance of timely access to appointments and health information.
