If you're a tourist, this is more about supporting locals. Nothing historic, just lots of cool art. If you're local, I imagine this is the place to get cool unique things. The one thing that's really pretty to see here is the bookstore. Other than that if visiting from another country, I would find other things to see.

Nor did I arrive angling for a cocktail. I expected to see art and unique artsy products for sale but after I wandered the shops on the ground floor and what was open on the second floor I left with, basically, a shoulder-shrug. I'd found only two places here (a bookstore and a sort-of-camera store) that really caught my interest and the rest seemed not to feature anything that I liked more than things that I'd seen for sale elsewhere in town. I have a hunch that LX Factory is slightly more fun if you stop and enjoy a drink, perhaps on a sunny Sunday afternoon. That's the day that they feature the outdoor "Sunday Market" at which (hopefully) they feature a wider array of unique art and/or handmade offerings. I spent long enough in Lisbon that I didn't regret making time for the LX Market but if I'd had only a short time to see the city I'd not have been happy having spent any time here at all.

I highly recommend this for an online experience and if I ever make it back to Lisbon I will go in person. Wish I had gone when I was there in November 2019! I will say the birthday add-on is not worth it. It was almost 70 USD, almost twice the cost of the ticket for the experience, and consisted of a song by the host and a birthday candle in a fake cake. Skip it.
