First-Hand Experience: I've seen Gillingham play live at home just once in person, which was back in 2007, and I wasn't too impressed. There's nothing about them that I love, but nothing I hate either. Just an average team with an average fan base that isn't too loud. And the stadium is usually half full. So I'll give them a 3. Formed in 1893, they're too high up for my tastes, with their 11k capacity, their boring dark blue kit, and they've never been in the top tier of football. They haven't been outside the league for a very long time though and they deserve credit for that.

This gym is located inside the Holiday Inn hotel just off of the main road. Parking is a breeze as…read moreit has a large, free car park available. Firstly the gym is small. It has less than 20 pieces of equipment (treadmills, cross trainers, rowers etc.). There is also a small mat area that doubles as a weight area. It does have a great pool with separate jacuzzi. They also have a steam room and sauna included with entry. I find that the busiest time to visit is around 5pm-7pm at night. It is much quieter after 8pm and is open until 10pm. Complimentary towels are issued at the gym reception which is really handy after a workout or a swim. This isn't the biggest gym by a long shot but has all of the facilities you would need as long as you are happy to go off peak.

I play snooker more than pool…read moreand this is more a pool club ... the pool facilities seem ok but the snooker tables are poor, not enough space and broken pockets etc ... The inside is a shambles even by your average snooker hall standards with parts of the room used to store junk and the whole place is very grimy ... Don't expect draught Guinness, or bottles ( cans only ! ) ... Expect to be harassed and forced to give a signature sample if you forget you membership card even when your a fairly regular visitor ... Expect to be told that you must pay a guest fee or full membership six weeks before their annual membership is due for renewal ... Don't expect a glass of water ... even though it's a legal requirement my brother who has a disability was refused because he was not drinking alcohol, this actually really upset him because he thought he had done something wrong ... shocking behaviour ... avoid this club, especially if your a snooker player because the facilities are so poor it's not worth putting up with the rude and disrespectful proprietor who will disrespect you if you are disabled and break the law because he is greedy and ignorant ... Enough said ! Peace Ps try Rileys in Gillingham ... much better for snooker, as is Jordan's in Rainham ...
