Based on how smooth the whole planning process went, I had pretty high expectations for the day of my wedding - but EVERYTHING exceeded anything that I had anticipated. My jaw dropped over 10 times and I stared in unbelief at everything every interval that evening. The design was more cohesive than I imagined. The flow of the event was paced and managed perfectly. The feel and energy reflected what I had requested PERFECTLY. Michelle listened and learned a lot about me and my personality and then made outstanding recommendations to make the day fit for me and my fiance. I told so many people that I wished that Heather, our Executive Planner, planned more things in my life. Monthly calls with her for the two years leading up to the wedding were the highlight of the month. She could not have been more responsive or done a better job of keeping us on track. It was particularly reassuring to know that we were in good hands given that we were planning this wedding from afar. It was so helpful to have her team recommend pre-vetted vendors so all we needed to do was review their websites and have a quick chat (and of course we loved all their recommendations). Michelle was the one with the artistic vision who did all the gorgeous design work. Let me tell you, this wasn't just a few "vision board" photos. This was a 60+ page design document complete with suggestions for invitations to floral to drinks that matched! Then she and the team brought it to life. The wedding itself was an absolutely dream, above and beyond what we'd hoped, but that also wasn't a surprise because we'd known all along that we were in the best hands. Everyone commented on how relaxed I was on the day of the wedding, but that was because I trusted Heather and the team with 100% confidence and they did not disappoint. She was so patient with us, helped us decide where to start, and was wonderful with my kids (who are on the spectrum). We ended up doing Alien Aptitude, Squid Game, and the escape room. We actually left and came back in the same day because we liked it so much. It's in a great location at the mall so parking is easy and there are plenty of nearby food options. Lockers were free which was really nice for us. I would suggest leaving any jackets or hoodies in the locker if possible since you can get warm moving around. Each game is in its own box and you can have up to 6 players. We had three and there was plenty of room to move around, I don't know if I'd like 6 players in one room especially if they were all adults. Let's talk about the games. You get a visor with antenna on it and this tracks where you are in the box which allows you to interact with what's happening on the screens/walls. It takes a second to get used to but Alien Aptitude is a good place to start to help you get used to the dynamics. If you step toward the front screen you will move up. Stepping back toward the door will move you down on the main screen. This one I think is fun for all ages and is basically mini games and puzzles. Next we did Squid Game which was more challenging and also fun. It has the familiar scenes and sounds from the show so my teenagers really liked it. Lastly, my youngest and I did the escape room while my middle boy decided to walk around the mall for a bit. This was the first time we've done a virtual escape room but we've done tons of standard escape rooms so it was semi familiar. You touch the walls in this experience more so than the other two games we played. You move through rooms by touching doorways and you open objects by touching them. It has mini games incorporated into the escape room so you're still solving puzzles and being active. It was challenging and fun and we made it out in less than an hour. Bottom line is that this place is a great place to burn off some energy while using your brain and that's a good combination in my opinion. We were thrown quite a curve ball the day of my wedding in that due to a completely unforeseeable situation, our venue became unavailable. I work as a project manager and can admit I am a very hands-on and organized person. I originally did not plan to hire any additional planning or coordinating services but finally decided an extra pair of hands would be helpful. Even if everything had gone according to plan, Roberta & Shelby were SO much more than just the extra pair of hands I thought I needed. There was no way any of us could have predicted the last minute venue change, but Roberta & Shelby handled it flawlessly. Without them, no amount of my organization or planning could have pulled off our wedding the way they did. Roberta was incredibly professional. She notified me early on of the changes, but only after she had time to begin working out a new action plan. I appreciated being kept in the loop, but also appreciated that she didn't call me the second the news broke...informing me of problems without potential solutions to offer would have been extra stress I didn't need in that moment. Roberta & Shelby were also absolutely in sync with Park City Resort and all of my other vendors. The communication and coordination was excellent. Because they had both taken the time to get to know me and understand my vision in the weeks leading up to the wedding, they did an amazing job of recreating our decor in a new venue space. Everything was exactly how I would have liked to see it, even though I wasn't available to provide any input. The planning leading up to our wedding was also perfectly executed. Roberta & Shelby asked the right questions, ran with my ideas, and prompted me to think about different approaches when appropriate. Roberta & Shelby are both extremely capable and professional, but what makes them stand a part from other professionals in your field is how genuine they are. They genuinely wanted to make this wedding my dream wedding, and they went above and beyond at every turn. Roberta even offered to hold our guest's baby during dinner so the couple could enjoy their meal. Although this wasn't something I saw, at least 20 of my guests did notice and made a point to tell me how amazing the Hoopes team was! That's exactly the kind of detail only a person genuinely committed to delivering an above and beyond experience would even think to do. My husband (!) and I are blown away by the HOOPES team.

The plant and decor options were good, I do with I had another smaller terrarium option. There were **70** people in our class. Far too many in my opinion. It was hard to walk around sometimes and we ended up in a smaller back room (which actually we were fine with due to sound levels). So go early if you want a table in the main room. They have a lot of people to help out. Everyone was super nice and helpful but we especially loved working with Susan! She was really informative, we appreciated her experience.
