I have been going to AAOB for about 4-5 months now. I started going because I was not getting the…read moreresults I needed from my doctor regarding my Hashimoto's disease. When I called to make an appointment, Christine answered and was so friendly and answered all of my questions. She felt that I should work with Dr Sophia, so we made the appointment and the rest is history. Dr Sophia is amazing. I have actual proof that what she is doing is working. Prior to working with her, my thyroid peridoxase antibodies level was 113. My last workup shows they are now 7, which is well within normal limits. I have done nothing different with my doctor, so this is all Dr Sophia's work. She has given me herbs that work like she says they will. She explains everything she is doing so that you understand. She listens and really takes into account what is going on with my whole being before she does a treatment. EVERY SINGLE TIME, I fall asleep and it is some of the most restful sleep I have ever had. If you are even thinking about trying acupuncture, please give AAOB a try. I know you will find them to be as amazing as I do! Everyone there is super nice and welcoming, like old friends. Tell them Christian sent you. :)

There is no list of services, you either pay $50 for 30 min massage of $70 for an hour. I chose 30 min even though that's overpriced. If you pay with a card there's a $2 fee.... her massage was very good on my back. She used Chinese medicine oils which was nice but my head massage felt like my skull was going to break. There was no technique or soothing manner just ruffling my hair roughly as she moved around my head. She wiped off the medicines off my back with a hot towel, with no warning which was pretty uncomfortable. On my way out I was stopped from leaving because "you didn't give me tip", not that I wasn't planning on tipping but I needed to ask if I can add it to my card. She then told me to wait as she looked to see how much tip I put, then said bye. Overall not a soothing experience, the place was clean and back massage was pretty decent.
