I highly recommend buying a cheaper high mileage prius and then having Ricardo make it new if engine or hybrid is old or needs work, then you have a new car with new engine for very cheap price. Delfino gave me a quote and started work immediately. I had already researched parts and labor and found his price very agreeable. I usually do most mechanical work for my own vehicles. Brakes, steering and suspension, differential rebuild, axles replacement. Timing jobs and mild engine rebuild, but a transmission is something I will leave to the professionals; and delfino is A+. The job was done quickly and he met me after hours to release my truck to me. Forward 3-4 years and I'm back again for a different vehicle. I'm back knowing with confidence that delfino is fair, honest and a damn good transmission mechanic!

I came in looking to swap Chevy Astro transmission and the high selling point with California transmission would be completed in a one day turnaround. However, unfortunately, I found myself having to call the shop multiple times for an update, and we're constantly hesitant to update me. In the end up having to wait three days to get my vehicle To make matters worse, they failed to properly reconnect my oil dipstick to the engine block, which is a basic but critical oversight.
