We can 100% recommend Amy not just weddings but also family portraits and couples photos. The photos Amy took of the children at the wedding were also beautiful, along with the group photos with family and friends and also a variety of natural photos of our guests and also of the venue. Thank you Amy

Sylvia took the time to attend the venue with us prior to the wedding, to work out suitable places for photos to be taken. On the day Sylvia was professional, friendly and helped us to relax whilst having our photos taken. We have now received the pictures taken and are really pleased with the results, they exceed our expectations and cannot wait t share them with our friends and family. We want to share how great Sylvia was and would recommend Colour-art.

Sylvia did our wedding photography. We could no have been more disappointed. She turned up at the…read morehouse where I was getting ready on time but had very little input with taking the contemporary photo's she had promised us. She left twenty mins ahead of me to get to the church and take some photo's so she missed me leaving the house and in the car etc. I can not describe how let down we felt when she then showed up at the church some 45 mins later. She missed me getting out of the car and and the entry to the church along with the first half of the service. All of the photos she took after this were from the back of the church with little variation. After the ceremony Sylvia was given a list of the group photographs I wanted which she failed to even look at. There were again none of the contemporary photos we were promised. She had no ability to direct the group or ask for every ones attention as a result all of the photos have people looking away. Certain family photos i requested were also missed. After everyone else made their way to the reception venue we stayed to take some photos in the beautiful landscaped grounds that surrounded our church. These all have the same poses. Sylvia made no effort to ensure that my dress was sitting properly when taking photos of me from behind. Again she left ahead of us to go to the reception venue so once again no car photos. Once again she turned up late to the venue about 10 mins behind us. The photo's through out the day ware unimaginative and repetitive. Not at all what we asked for nor what we were promised. Hiring Sylvia was the biggest mistake we made for our wedding day.

An amazing photographer, Abby really excels at portraiture. She has a keen eye for superbly framing…read moreher subject/s, and also using the available natural light to her advantage. Once she has developed your prints she can then liaise with you to create bespoke frames to suit the decor of the room in which they are to sit. Her styling shots are beautifully composed, and would happily look perfect on the cover or within the pages of a very upmarket food, or home and garden magazine. This is reflected by the fact that two out of the three testaments that her website carries are from doctors. (Spookily enough their names are 'Craddock' and 'Fowler' the surnames of the two founding members of band Ocean Colour Scene who are from the same area.) I imagine that this isn't going to be the cheapest option, but I'm without doubt that it's the best if you want excellent results.

We were drawn to Kay because of the polished yet natural style of her photos. We also wanted to use someone local. From the outset, it was clear that Kay was perfect for us - she was laidback, calm and reassuring. On our wedding day, she was a pleasure to have around. She took pictures whilst I was getting ready; I loved the fact that she laughed and joked with my bridesmaids and me. She was discreet and professional throughout the ceremony. I've been to some weddings where the photographer has been a bit of a diva and rather bossy. Kay definitely was not! She got my unruly mob of a family into ship-shape with poise and confidence before running upstairs to take the pictures from a window. Guests commented on how good she was. The finished album is stunning - we still look at it 4 years on. I've seen her shoot at a couple of other weddings since and have been equally as impressed.
