Cassie is amazing at what she does!! She asked that I put together a Pinterest board on what I would like my Engagement photos to look like. This included type of poses, lighting, scenery and basically anything else you could think of. Before we met she reviewed my Pinterest board and made sure to capture everything I was wanting. Through out the photo shoot she made sure to ask me if she was capturing the type of photos I wanted as well. She is very good at directing you for all pictures and makes everything very easy. The whole time myself and my fiancé were not stressed and had a good time. My fiancé and I had a couple ideas on what we wanted to capture and she was more then willing to make sure we got what we wanted. The photo session lasted a little over an hour and that included 3 different outfits and 6+ different backgrounds. She captured a ton of great photos and also does great work of photo editing if needed.

This photography company was hosting an event today for photos with Santa. Me and my family were so…read moreexcited to go as we have never gotten our kids picture taken with Santa before. The whole thing was dis organized and in my opinion, showed a lack of professionalism. We were first told to take a number to hold our place (waited over an hour) then came back at the directed time, and were then told they weren't going by numbers anymore, and that it'd be another hour or so. And the woman running it didn't seem concerned at all and told us it was free so we shouldn't complain. It's sad because I was looking for a new photographer in the Hudson area since we recently moved but this experience really turned me off. It's sad that it can be hard to find people who appreciate their work and can treat others with dignity and respect.

We had a GREAT experience with Tony and Matt at ShowTime for our wedding this past weekend. Tony…read moremet with us months in advance to go through every possible detail, offer us tons of advice, and help figure out exactly what we wanted for our reception. We met again a few days before the wedding with both Tony and our DJ Matt to go over everything and make sure there would be no questions going into our day. On the day of the wedding, Matt was absolutely perfect. Tons of communication with myself and the bride, asking questions without being intrusive, kept the entire night moving perfectly, and ran everything VERY smoothly. We couldn't have asked for more, we were very pleased with how the night went, and Matt had a lot to do with it. The photobooth was a huge hit as well, we're excited to see our photo guest book soon!

The hut itself is so cute with a walk up window and they had a pretty extensive menu for the size of the place. I got the Coconut Joy Mocha which had just the right amount of almond flavoring. It is a separate building away from the campgrounds and such, but close enough if you wanted to venture over in those areas. What a beautiful place for a wedding! I'm so glad we decided to have ours here. They made it easy to have our wedding here from the initial planning to the execution day of. Cathy, the event coordinator is very on top of things and guided us throughout the process. I was worried that the planning aspect would be incredibly hectic, but she made it easier to plan. The venue has a beautiful outdoor area perfect for our ceremony overlooking the river. There is a little tiki bar and a cute patio area outside. The inside is beautiful itself and you can be flexible with the way the space is used. There is a room with large windows that we used for our dinner, but it has been used for ceremonies, too. There is a huge bar in the "flex" room that was perfect for cocktail hour and mingling. There is a third room that opens up with a dance floor and has additional space for seating. It is perfect for a wedding where there is dancing and also people that prefer to sit , watch, and chat. The bridal and groom suites are perfect for getting ready with bathrooms attached and mirrors. What a great place to get married...I will certainly recommend it to engaged couples looking for a place with natural beauty and reception space.
