And it seems to be geared more for the pint sized. I was tip toeing around a bunch of ankle biters that were trying to get the right size tutu's and ballet slippers for an upcoming residual. Cute. But with so much attention to the little ones I felt that none was given to the over 5' people. I'm looking at the limited supply of shoes for quiet a long time. Hoping that at some point there will be an available person to help me. The only question I had to ask, "Is there anything else that is not already on display?" NOPE. Which was enough to do an about-face and walk out and check out what else the plaza had in store. Great collection of dance/performance attire and dance shoes. Unitards, leotards, skirts, tutus, tops, and bottom. I'm not sure but I think they had costume makeup as well. There were several adult dance shoes but I would recatergoize this place more for Kids' Dancewear.

Getting old is not for wimps lol;). New things popping up all the time! I decided to stop in to 1st Place Sports to check out their walking shoes. Kelly escorted me upstairs where they had a huge selection. I told her I was recommended to try Hoka's by several friends. First, I stepped on a machine to scan my feet to see what would work best for me. She suggested the Hoka Clifton 10 with inserts. I tried on a few different styles and selected my favorite (what felt best when walking). I purchased two pair of Hoka's and inserts that I can switch between the two pair of shoes. I walked out in my new shoes and by the next morning my feet pain was gone! After dealing with it for nearly three weeks I was so relieved! And grateful to Kelly for her help and excellent customer service! I'll be back for another pair soon when new colors are released. Since now I'm starting over with my walking shoe collection.

It was recommended that if I could be there at opening I would be seen right away. I showed up early and got some steps in while waiting. Makayla helped me with my selection. I came in wanting a walking shoe and was told the advantages of using a running shoe as a walker, better breathing. control. She brought me 3 pair of shoes to try on. 2 brands were represented. The first didn't need an insole. She listened to my questions about all 3 pair. Now time will tell if I made the right choice I bought a pair of Hoka with a medium insert. I will definitely return and hope to be served by her again.

They noted that the Baymeadows store had the items I was looking for and as I had 20 minutes, I could still make it there before they closed. Phew I am glad I did. My visit lasted no more than a few minutes and it did not lead to any purchases. The staff were fantastic though.

An Amazing Experience!…read more I had the BEST experience at Clelia's Party Dresses & Bridal in Jacksonville! As a plus-size woman, I was honestly a little nervous walking in, but Molly immediately put me at ease. She greeted me with the most beautiful smile and asked what I was looking for. The truth is, I wasn't 100% sure! I had a few ideas, but I needed some guidance. As I started trying on dresses, Molly listened carefully to what I liked, what I didn't, and which features made me feel most comfortable and confident. She took everything I said into consideration, disappeared for a few minutes, and came back with the most GORGEOUS dress! It checked every single box! It was flattering, slimming, and made me feel absolutely beautiful. What I appreciated most was that Molly truly listened. She didn't just help me find a dress; she helped me find something that made me feel amazing in my own skin. I HIGHLY recommend visiting Clelia's! They have so many beautiful finds, and if you get the chance, ask for Molly. She made what could have been an intimidating experience into such a wonderful one! Thank you, Molly, for making me feel beautiful!

I understand the policy that the owners would rather help the customer in trying on the formal gowns because some of them are quite difficult and challenging to put on. My daughter tried a few gowns. The owner was not pushy at all, and in fact, she is so sweet and understanding of what a customer wants. I just don't understand some of the bad reviews here because the owner just struck me as the nicest and one of the most patient salesperson I've dealt with. She was very helpful and supportive to my teenage daughter. We didn't feel rushed. By the way, we also went to the gowns store across the hallway which was a complete opposite of Clelia's (that store across the hallway was so pushy and we felt rushed). Would definitely get our formal dresses thru Clelias from now on. Just very good customer service and the dresses/gowns are also beautiful and reasonably priced.

I go in a few hours til closing and it's pouring rain outside. I run inside and imediately slide into an aisle and check out all the nerd wear. I love Star Trek. I'm just lost going from one aisle to the next almost forgetting the purpose of the trip. Evrything is pretty organized. I get through the first room before I notice I havent been greated or even seen anyone that works here? I finally find the mask section - in the second room. Great selection of costumes, props, accessories, and shoes. But only standard sizes. Or maybe I'm too tall for my own good - everything was extremely short. Finally found one clerk, he seemed to be starring into space. I decided to cross in front of his face a few times coming from randon directions. Most people at one point will ask "May I help you find something" - Not him! And what's up with the dance gear? Pretty good store but the lack of service is really a determinent.

I often thought about the shoe repair store at the Regency Square Mall that I used to solicit close to a decade, and I figured they were no longer in business since the Regency Mall is practically empty and the folks who worked at the shoe repair store seemed old in age. I was saw this business page on Yelp and happened to scroll down to see a Yelp review that was "not recommended". In that glorious review I found the info I needed - the shoe repair store that I had so loved had actually MOVED!!! So I called them up and Lilly answered in her beautiful Irish voice and told me her repairman could work on my boots tonight since I need them next week. Lilly told me it would take about an hour to work on my rush job so I hung out with her while we caught up on what's been happening over the past decade. The repairman who used to work at Regency passed away this year. She now has a guy who's pretty awesome and has great work ethics. So this place is not only a shoe repair business, but owner Lilly is a seamstress and has locksmith services. She also has some friends who sell some of their items (new and used) in her store, so it looks a bit convoluted inside, so please please please do not let this distract you from their work. After all these years, they still got it! My boots came back to me in the time promised and with nice quality craftsmanship on the heels of my boots!!! I forgot to mention that I had to pre-pay for the service, which was fine with me. $13 and change (after tax) to fix my boots. I even called my mom after I left to tell her of my discovery. Woot woot!!! Go check them out!!!
