My friend had a very nice baby shower here in celebration of her newest addition to her family. I am very familiar with this venue because years ago my husband and I came here to shop around for wedding reception locations. They have ample parking in a private lot and very nicely maintained ballrooms for events. My friend's event was upstairs and the space was huge. She had plenty of room for a gift table, dessert table, buffet, DJ and room for dancing. The lighting was pretty and the food was good. The service staff was attentive and cleared away tables quickly. They came around to take drink orders regularly. Her package included wine, beer and juice but they also had an bar downstairs where guests could purchase mixed drinks if they were so inclined. It was definitely a beautiful event and this would be the perfect place for a wedding reception, coming-of-age party (bar/bat mitzvah, sweet sixteen, quinceañera, etc) or a shower. DO NOT HAVE YOUR EVENT HERE!! I put a deposit down for an event and they were shut down because of Covid so obviously I'm May I couldn't have my event. They refuse to give me back any part of my deposit and are forcing me to have my contract open ended for another date. Excuse me I live 5 states away! I have had several family members contract the coronavirus so you can see why I don't want any parts of any gathering of any kind any time soon especially when there is NO effective vaccine. They are only worried about their bottom line and have absolutely no compassion, NO empathy, NO sympathy, and are less than human. Lives have been lost, jobs have been lost, and people are living with lasting after effects from the virus. PLEASE take your business elsewhere. My sister and brother-in-law recently had their wedding and reception here...very beautiful hall Juliano's is that really is nice for weddings and probably proms and special dining events. The food served here is fairly good, not outstanding but good. Shrimps and rice, plantains are just okay. Their entrees were pretty good from skirt steak, Italian food and side dishes. The catering folks though are so so. The waiters who waited on most of the guest there were about in their late teens/early 20's, didn't really seem to be pleased with their jobs and you can see it in their faces. Don't know if the apparent attitudes were with that of family and friends of those at the wedding or with that of their management but it kind of threw some of who attended the wedding off so don't really know where to place the blame on to for that. But if you are looking for a place to hold a special event or wedding in the New Rochelle area where most people are accessible to make it too then Juliano's is a very good choice for that. read more

The decor of the place matches with anything and you can almost do anything yo7u desire to the place to get it how your perfect day should be. I attended an event there last night and even though the event itself was great, I had a couple of issues. Due to recently having knee surgery, I call the establishment during the week to inquire about handicap accessibility and restrooms to which the female representative stated that the establishment has both. Upon my arrival, I come to find out that the event was on the 2nd floor but I had to find my way up the stairs to said floor due to the elevator being out of service. With the assistance of my wife, my brother and a few other people that helped me get up and down the stairs, I was able to enjoy the event but it should not have to had come to that with a well-known establishment such as this. Furthermore, as we were leaving, there were other people from another event that required elevator assistance yet had to walk down the stairs due to the elevator being out of service. This is a huge inconvenience for those needing additional assistance due to medical reasons. Another issue was with the event ending at midnight, by the time we were leaving which was at 10:30pm, guest still were not fed yet orders were taking 3 hours prior. We ended up taking our food home. Ohh......almost forgot. No handicap or family restrooms either. Bathrooms were slippery and it was a good thing I had on shoes with good footing or I would had ripped me knee even more. Juliano's cancelled my daughters sweet 16 not once - but twice! They have a no refund policy no matter how many times they will cancel on you. Covid 19 was the issue, fine, not their fault but sure is he'll not our fault and we were not the one who cancelled. They seriously believe I should have no problem shelling out $7,000 for a regular party when my kid hits 17 instead of a planned sweet 16. Instead of working out some sort of way to refund our money, they blow me off in so many words that they will not and all they will do is keep pushing the date back. I had my sweet sixteen here and attended several others here as well. Always a positive experience. They have several rooms to host your party in and give you tons of options for decor and food. They decorated the place beautifully, the room classy and not at all empty looking when a bunch of people didn't show up. The location is so-so. Not impressive looking driving up to it but the service made up for it. Just had our school's holiday party there. The room was 58 degrees the entire night. We had to eat and dance in the cold while every other room in the building had heat. We may as well had the party outside. They claimed no responsibility for this and were quick to point out how they really only provide food. It was a total disgrace. Even the bartenders would say how cold it was. They didn't even have the decency to apologize and make the situation right since teachers were paying hard earned money, $50 per person to eat in the cold. My husband and I recently held our 25th wedding anniversary at Juliano's in the Gold Room. The staff, service and food were excellent! I'm giving four stars because the room is a little dated. And the service door is in the room and not concealed well. It leads to a dingy storage hall way and every time the staff come in and out of the room the guest are subject to that. The staff at the reception is not welcoming as they supposed to be. The place is nicelydecorated and the servers are very accomodating and great. The food however is low end and disappointing. The appetizers are decent, mostly frozen food tthat's been fried. Taste was good but nothing over the top. Nothing classy for a wedding function. When we went into the dining hall, the fruit salad have been sitting on the table for over an hour. Its not cold but warm when you start eating. Their fruit selections are not ripe and sweet. Sour unriped fruits. The kiwi, strawberry, melon were all unriped. Then the bread in a basket was put on the table, cold and hard as a rock. The least they could have done is put it in the oven right before bringing it out. You can't even eat it, the butter wouldn't even melt on it since its cold bread. The salad was soaked in red wine vinegar, the moment they put it on the table, the strong stench alone put you off. Should have given selection on dressings on the table instead. Thenthe main course came out, the food is sooooo salty, you even eat half of it... The function was nice, the decor, the cake...basically presentations are nice but when you go in deeper like the food...its very very disappointing..I prefer eastwood manor in the hronx instead...if you want to impress your guests, this might not be the place you want to have.... read more

I just tried to book a party for my daughter at Juliano's and the owner David Juliano was less than helpful in making the party work for me. He basically let go of my business for a $500 difference in price. Might I add I was spending a little over $4,000 on this event and yet he let go of the $4,000 party just to not be flexible. Thanks Mr. Juliano ...so much for customer service. I'd rather go somewhere else and pay more money just to get the satisfaction of good customer service. By the way take a look at the women's restroom upstairs...you might want to pay attention to the water leak stains on the ceiling before being a stickler about pennies. read more

I have nothing but nice words to say about Juliano's caterers. Hosted my mother's 50th birthday party this weekend. I found them less 2 months away from my event! Luckily they had availability and were VERY accommodating. Jatea (sorry if I misspell) was very nice and professional since the day we signed our contract, the day of the party she was always available and very attentive. Danny was also great, very professional and helpful, the servers were great. To me their service was exceptional. The food was great and the cake was delicious! They even provided birthday candles to save the day since I forgot! They even packed to go trays of the left over buffet food for us to take home. Very impressed.
