I wish I was exaggerating, but I have the screenshots of my call logs to prove it. To make matters worse, there is no option to schedule appointments online. On the rare chance you finally get a live person on the phone, they constantly hang up on you. This isn't a one-time issue; it happens over and over again. It's a real shame because the doctors here are actually very good--it's just too bad you can't ever get an appointment to see them. Edinger desperately needs a new call center. I'm already switching my insurance because I can't deal with this anymore.

We went through my entire medical history and my current health and not once did he rush through the appointment - we spent around 50 minutes together, if not more. It is an understatement to say that Dr. Barrett completely understands how to care for a patient in every aspect of their health. He is compassionate, thorough, and so so smart. I had cancer years ago. The morning she got the notification from radiologist that read the mammogram, she left me voicemail. By the time I called her back, she had already scheduled an appointment for me with the surgeon the next day. The surgeon and the oncologist she referred me to were also exceptional. Within 10 days I had two surgeries and was on my way to post op radiation. I've never heard of a quicker response. Same when my eye was cut by a cactus. She called around and got me in to see an eye doctor that same day even though all referrals were booked. Can't say enough about Dr Don.

His office is so organized that we hardly spend any time waiting for him when it's our appointment time. He comes in and sits down without a care in the world outside of our personal needs. He literally goes over our entire blood panel and educates us on it in detail. I have learned more from Dr. Hiteshi than any dermatologist, dietitian, ob/gyn, etc. combined. He spends significant time with us and even goes as far as mailing us information after our visit. He makes me feel so comfortable, almost as though I am with a friend. He absolutely loves what he does and it definitely shows. I had a severe cough during the last trimester of my pregnancy and I ended up in the emergency room from pain but they weren't able to do anything for me. She is also all those things you rarely get in a doctor - you can understand her and she speaks to you like a normal person (not in "doctor" talk), she never rushes you or makes you feel like she doesn't have time for you, and she is always will take the time to explore whatever issue you are coming in with. Trust me, I am picky. Between all the various doctors I've had throughout my life as well as the many my son has had (he has special needs and requires many other specialty doctors), I've seen a lot of mediocre doctors (and some just plain crappy ones). But this is the exact opposite of Dr. Salem. She is top notch...and I'd say is the perfect blend of being a great doctor and also being personable and approachable.
