They gave me valuable information about this type of metal, it has a history of loosing stones eventually bc it is a soft metal. Also, when the size is changed bc of the design of my ring, it may then rub on the sides of my other fingers bc it will be brought down more to get the correct size. I got it sized. In doing so they gave us a verbal estimate of how much it would cost so we could give them $150 to do a drawing and get a more accurate estimate. Before I was willing to go forward and risk my $150 they assured me it would be close to that estimate. Industry standard is a 10% change on verbal estimates. I gave them my $150 and they came back with a quote 50% higher than the number they convinced me into giving them $150. I was wanting to go through Patterson's but they gave me no good explanation on why they would go up 50% of the original estimate. They said there is nothing they could do and I would have to pay the 50% increase or loose out on that $150. This shop was very deceitful and I no longer trust them. Be cautious!
