This place is FANTASTIC but very expensive - hence the 4 stars only. My favorite is the blue-green mini smoothie. It's made with Coconut Water, Zucchini, Blueberry, Apple, Banana, Raw Vanilla Protein, Raw Almond Butter, Raw Cashew Butter, and Stevia. Very good, and I wouldn't have thought to make a smoothie with zucchini myself. My mom really likes the gimme mo' bowl, and I thought it was great as well. The coffee flavor was delicious. There are so many smoothie and bowl options, so definitely something for everyone. All are very balanced in terms of fats, proteins, and carbs to keep you full for a while. I really appreciate this - lots of smoothie places just give you a fruit smoothie that leave you hungry in 30 minutes. Honestly, the reason for the 4 stars is just because of the price point. Super friendly here, with excellent quality juices. I saw a co-worker doing a one day cleanse and headed right over for it myself while it was 20% off. Which was a good thing because it's not cheap, but you do get a lot of very good quality for the money. You can get an all-day cleanse, or a cleanse-to-dinner one, which is what I did. It included my choice of 4 big juices and 2 shots. I chose a couple green ones, plus a beet and an orange one for the big juices. For my shots I did wheatgrass and an algae. The only thing I had a hard time with was the grass. Makes sense why animals eat grass when their tummies are bothering them. Just sayin'. But that's the only one I wouldn't do again. And the best part was the dinner...a really nice salad with a small container of chicken salad. Delicious! Every time I visit Raleigh, I always start to crave a good acai bowl, since it's something I eat daily. I have tried several places in the RDU area but nothing compares to how good the acai bowl at Juicekeys! First of all, this location is so nice. It's in a shopping center so there is plenty of parking. I love the inside since it's open with plenty of lighting. They even have seating upstairs. I especially love the fountain area. They were really quick with the acai bowl and I loved every bite. It had fresh fruit and granola. I also asked to have additional coconut flakes on it. It was so nice and refreshing. Great tasting food. I used to come here almost everyday... especially during the pandemic. 2 things that brought me to this 2-star review. #1. They changed the menu. The old menu was perfection, now they don't top blueberries to the Blueberry bowl. Granola is almost non-existent. No more Pumpkin smoothie/bowl. Pumpkin is such a super food. So good in many ways including neutralizing stomach acids. It used to be my go-to. Many other items have been taken off the menu as well. #2. No nutrition facts. I know they're all into whole foods and putting whole/raw foods in there recipes which is why I initially chose to eat there, however I do have certain things I need to limit myself to for my health. Sodium, protein, cholesterol, and fat. I could care less about calorie counting, but I need to make sure I am not consistently over doing it in the previously mentioned dietary characteristics. I've never had cashew butter blended into an acai bowl and it made a huge difference in creaminess and flavor. I really enjoyed it. My only complaint was the price. Almost $15 for an açaí bowl is outrageous. I'm from out of state (CT) and our bowls are rarely more than $12 and most are in the $9-10 range. This review is based upon the three items I have tried: Avocado smoothie, turmeric lemon juice, and a cashew honey energy ball. All three are excellent! The smoothie is creamy (probably from the avocado and coconut combination...maybe also the pecan butter), tasty, and filling. You can add protein, kale, or probiotic to it as well but I just had it as is and it was great. The juice was strong but tasty, as you'd expect. The cashew honey energy snack (cleaning it up for the kids sake) had a layer of crunch and cashews on the outside and an inner core of probably cashews, honey, and dates. The offer other salads, foods, etc but I haven't tried them so I will update this when I return if necessary. At first I was going to give Juicekeys 4 stars because I was shocked by the price. However, there are 4 reasons why I changed my mind. First: Excellent customer service. This was my first time, I was greeted at some point by all 3 people working and the owner went through the entire menu with me. Also, the smoothie came out lighting fast. Second: Delicious! Although there was protein and cashew butter in my Strawberry Cheesecake smoothie, it didn't taste like a protein shake. Also, I could tell smoothie was mostly fruits and protein- rather than loaded with ice. I probably irritated my coworkers because I was slurping on the straw, trying to get every last sip. Third: Organic- you get what you pay for! Fourth: Sustainable packaging. I gotta say I didn't think that Juicekeys smoothie (lunch) would hold me over as long as it did, but it did. I wrapped up my errands around 8:30pm and had one of the "Energy Balls" (Cashew Honey) a couple of hours after the smoothie. It was surprising tasty. I say that because the type of "health food" I have experienced in the past has not been what I'd call delicious. It's usually bland & chalky. Then when I got home around 9pm, I had the other one. Also had the "shots". One was a turmeric & lemon shot, the other was a ginger & lemon shot. I specifically asked for something that might help to get me feeling 100% again. A couple of weeks ago I came down with some bug and although feel fine now, still not totally there. Hope this helps! The taste is very tart & I happen to like tart foods, so I really enjoyed these shots. The other items I bought I'll try tomorrow, but am hopeful that they are just as delicious. The other items are: Another variety of "Energy Balls" (Pecan Hemp), and "Breakfast Bars" (Original). This shop lets you text your order in which I think is pretty cool. It took a good solid 5 min for them to make my smoothie but it was also mid afternoon when I was there, so I would think that peak times such as the 12-2pm hours are prob much more hectic. YAS to an actual healthy smoothie! Most smoothie places in the area claim to be natural, but there's always some juice concentrate or weird powders in them which bothers me more than it should. Juicekeys uses almond milk or coconut water as the base, and the rest of the ingredients are natural and delicious. For sweetener, they use stevia so this place is great for those eating clean. I'm a sucker for avocados and the "Avocado That's My Motto" was a creamy, thick, satisfying smoothie that had some texture from the pecan butter and dates. Even though it's a bit pricy, I'm so glad to have discovered Juicekeys because I love their ingredients & it's all organic, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free. Wow! This place blew me away. As soon as we walked in the people working here were extremely welcoming. They walked us through the whole menu and answered any questions we had. We were offered two samples that were so good! They were also very careful because my sister has a cashew allergy and made sure to allergy wash the blenders before use.
