I've never been so insulted in for ever. I entered the the establishment no one was in there. I placed my order the owner I'm assuming. did not want to take the money from my hand so I am returned. Wanted to make sure that I what I was feeling was right so I paid with a card. The owner didn't even wanna give me the receipt. She kind of threw the receipt to me instead of placing my receipt in my hand. She didn't tell whisper to the young lady who was working for her. She whispered something to the young lady she made my açai bowl so fast. I've been going to Juice It Up! since my daughter was a child. She's now 23. I am lost for words because in Ontario I didn't know we still had to deal with such ignorant prejudice people I'm hard-working. I work two jobs. I'm raising four girls by myself and I refuse to deal with such ignorant people and their establishments so that's why I put this on, Yelp I'm appalled and I'm very angry. This shop has had many changes in both the drinks which I will explain below and interior remodeling which has happened about 3 times in the 10 years it's been in business- some items have been exempt and Discontinued which is rather disappointing since one of my favorite was the green macha soy drink. Other drinks like the banana Soy also taste a little bit less fresh like it has been replaced with condense juices in the drinks. Rather sad experience since we all have our favorites and as customers all I can say is once you change the menu the same menu that you won me as a customer, you end up losing . Because it's a franchise you expect quality but It is pricey for what you get, other shops that aren't franchises offer better quality for your buck. I'm a bit irritated from this Juice It Up location. Their rewards machine has been down for almost two weeks, and although it didn't bother me so much I was told to keep the receipts and once it's back up my points can be I inputed. I walked in today for a Mango Mania smoothie, and their rewards machine was working again so my purchase was included in the rewards. I took out my receipts to have them inputed. The girl at the register was unfamiliar with the process so she brought her manager. The manager just told me that I would have to register my card and call the number on the back so I'd input the numbers myself, which I know is unheard of. I just stood there confused, and she just said that it would take too long on her end to do it. Seriously? You just told me you were too lazy to do it? So basically I've been spending money and I just got scammed out of my points. You don't tell someone to save their receipts only to then say there's nothing you can do about it. Today my experience was horrible. We came in for happy hour, passion punch and strawberry wave. I even brought in my friend who had 5 kids with her along with my 2 kids, the passion punch was horrible. Tasted like old crunch ice, or frost bite fruit.
