I have been coming to this location for several years now and recently in the last few months I noticed that things have changed. The owner or manager who is in charge of staffing needs to take another look. I have come in here several days during what I would think is the "lunch rush" and they have had only ONE person working!!! There is a line of 5 people waiting to order, people waiting for a smoothie or whatever and there is only one poor young girl working. This is ridiculous. You shouldn't have to wait 15-20 minutes just to order. I've had to leave before I could order because I'm out of time during my lunch break. There is no excuse for this except bad management and being cheap! You need to pay another person to work this location. Also the Açaí bowls are hit and miss. Sometimes they are good & other times they aren't blended well enough leaving big chunks of kale/spinach making it completely gross and inedible which is annoying since it costs over $11 for a bowl. read more

I went in on 11/04/2020 Wednesday McKenzie was working and I just wanted to say great job! There was a very rude straight up dick of a cop who was obviously taking his frustration out on her. I was there before he was so I was able to see the entire interaction between McKenzie and that officer. He wasn't clear with what he was talking about at first and expected her to know what he's talking about then he raised his voice and his attitude towards her just got worse. I would like a manager to acknowledge her. McKenzie remained calm and very professional. I also would like to make sure if that man did make a complaint just know it's not valid he was the one having a bad day or just thinks he has the right to treat people like they're beneath him. read more

Made the trek across the hot parking lot to see if my enthusiasm meter would rise the closer I got to an açaí bowl. I don't know if the young man said Hello or greeted me because all I heard when I walked in was this loud voice coming from his co-worker. Their ultimate açai bowl is $7.50 and is blended with a fruit juice. No dairy. Granola and honey on top along with sliced banana. Too sweet. Beautiful taste of açaí watered/iced down and covered up. Disappointed by the presentation of this expensive and exotic superfood; more specifically, choose a firm and flawless banana to slice evenly and neatly to be added to a bowl that is clean around the edges. My new favorite place to get a juice smoothie! I bought a groupon recently which comes with coupons for 5 drinks. I've been able to get a medium size smoothie with the groupon for around $3 versus the $4.75 price. The medium size is big too!! Can definitely be shared with someone else. The two favorite flavors are the kale smoothie and the melon madness. Very refreshing on a hot day. I like this place because I don't have to wait as long as Jamba Juice, which can take up to 15 minutes to get my drink. The prices seem a bit high for their raw juices but haven't tried them yet. read more

Having a long history in Brazilian jujitsu it goes without saying that likely I have adopted some of their dietary habits. One of the main staples to successful training is a very clean diet and one of the key ingredients to that is acai anything. How lucky am I to have a Juice It Up just minutes from my house? The menu is not vast but it is very deep and rich in things wonderful for your body. I also noticed that Sambazon is their go to for açai berry. Is that the best acai in the world? No. However it is definitely acceptable. And their smoothies and bowls are made with just that and not holding back at all like many places do to cut cost. My go to drink is The açai berry smoothie and the only modification I ask for is to use soy milk instead of the strawberry apple juice so that it won't be too high in sugar and not overpoweringly sweet. The soymilk tends to make it creamier than an almond or cashew alternative, although I do realize that it can mess with estrogen levels. Needless to say, it is creamy goodness and will keep me going back for more! It also doesn't hurt that I got a fat coupon book the last time I was in there and a dollar off my purchase. I went to this location yesterday 5/25/2020 and before entering there are signs all over the door and in the store requiring masks to be worn and other CDC protocol. Everyone in the store was wearing a mask EXCEPT the girl behind the cash register making the drinks. I asked her why she was not wearing her mask after watching her wipe her lips with her fingers several times before taking my order. She said that her forgot her masks at home (with a crappy attitude). I told her that her boss should have extras gloves and masks for them especially since she is making food for customers. The store had plenty of precautionary measures to keep their employees safe from customers but NONE to keep the customers safe from the employees. I took my money somewhere else. read more

This is the closest place to my house that juices vegetables. Every time they get my order wrong. Very. Single. Time... And this drink is supposedly one of their specialties. One girl added extra ingredients, didn't tell me until I asked if she did, and then asked if it was OK after the fact. When I said "no," the girl acted annoyed she had to do it over again. What if I had been allergic? It takes them forever to make the drink and I have never once been apologized to for when they screw up either. I now drive more than 5 miles out of the way to a place that have workers who know how to read directions and listen. Also, I ordered a bag of potato chip and happened to glance at the expiration date. It was months expired. I then had to search through the rest of their bags to try and find one that was not. I'm a weekly customer, sometimes twice weekly, and I just have to say that the customer service at this location sucks! The girls who work the register are always half asleep, rude, and short. The first few times it happened, I just let it go, but now every time I go to this location, it's the same thing every time. I'm not sure if it's because these are young high school girls who haven't gained good customer service skills yet, but as someone who's worked as a cashier on my teens, I never talked to customers the way they do. I've come here three days in row. The first time was really pleasant. The ladies behind the counter were energized and excited to help me with my choices for being the first time customer. The second and third day I came Marissa was behind the counter. Unfortunately my experience was not the same. Especially the third day. It's hard to go to a business when he employee doesn't seem happy to be there. Especially in this type of business! It was rather early the third day and there was a small rush but she really seems miserable and I won't be back for this reason. She also messed up two customer orders and didn't apologize. So the three stars is for customer service. They would have gotten a five if that was good. Their smoothies and juices are great. 6/8 - Came back today and I'm glad I did! Update: went in the other day. The health department gave them a B! Yikes. I looked at the raw juice machine. Fruit bugs flying around. I turned around and walked right out the door. No freaking thank you. Dirty place. Shame on the ghetto owners. Please clean your raw juice machine. Sometimes my drink will turn out black bc there's so much debris left over in the machine. It's kinda gross I can taste other stuff in my drink. Not consistent enough. When I go to the one off Ontario my drinks looks completely different and taste much better.
