We ordered the following: Starters *House cured salmon and cod in nori seaweed - excellent, sushi quality, the cod was nice and salty, portion wasn't the largest *Warm smoked mackerel with horseradish and dill dressing - really tasty and a nice portion *Flash pan squid with chiles and coriander- outstanding with a kick Mains *Pan fried black sole on the bone, dill, and toasted almond butter-maybe the star of the show, a large portion, fall of the bone and the toasted almond butter was awesome *OOTB fish selection; John Dory, sole and halibut fillets served with a lobster sauce - the fish was great, but the lobster sauce had zero flavor *Dingle bay lobster from the tank- we got the last one, it was excellent The beer and wine were excellent. The service was great. The interior had a tile floor with a sort of Mexican fishing village theme. Reasonably priced for top level fresh seafood. Highly recommend.

Well ahead of our travels to Dingle, I booked Michelin Star'd Out of the Blue. Only serving fresh…read moreseafood, it was the best meal of our trip, and every bit deserving of its star status. The front is a basic and unassuming, but neat, blue building. Inside remains simple, but quality, with light wood, soft light, and sea themed decor. As the menu changes so frequently, a dish can run out that evening, it is handwritten on a chalkboard that is brought to the table. It was very difficult to choose, the entire menu was well done. The brown bread was also the best of the trip, theirs had more seeds and the right balance of dense. Be careful to not fill up on bread as you will not want to miss any of the rest of the meal. Since the menu changes so frequently, describing what we ordered is not helpful. Both dishes were incredible, fresh, cooked perfectly, and with interesting and well matched ingredients. We ate every possible bite. We managed to save room and share a dessert, worth every calorie. I'm surprised to see any negative reviews. In my option, for the quality of the meal, the prices were completely reasonable. If you are in Dingle (which if you go to Ireland you absolutely should as the town deserves a visit), make reservations!

Our dinner was a welcome alternative to classic Irish cuisine. We made reservations, arrived early, and were seated promptly. They have a time limit on the tables, and very generous by American standards. Our wait staff were friendly, helpful, and there when we needed them. We found the atmosphere to be warm, comfortable, relaxed, friendly, and rustic. It was also cool to peak into the Kitchen and watch one of the owners in made-to-order action. One thing about tapas/pintxos restaurants is that 2 things sneak up on you as you continue to order small plates: the overall bill and how full you become before you know it. For the 4 of us, our total came out to 161 Euros (including a 12.5% service charge), which I thought was a good value for the quality of food and drinks received. Our choices included 4 different glasses of wine from a very nice list, with prices ranging from 10-16 Euros. We also had 1 coffee and 3 Herbal teas at the end. In between, our food choices were: - Grilled Sour Dough, Confit Cherry Tomatoes & Dingle Sea Salt + Extra - Roasted Almonds - Crisp O Connors Spuds "Bravas Style" Manchego & Aioli - Chorizo Sausage - Chorizo & Manchego Croquette, Aioli, Dingle Sea Salt - Fig Tempura, Dingle Goats Cheese, Peppered Honey - Potato Hash We enjoyed all our choices, with the only one comment that the croquette was a bit rich for our pedestrian tastes. We'd gladly come back to explore the menu further, which probably changes from time to time.
