I have to give a special shoutout to the vegan burger--it was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly cooked, packed with flavor, and thoughtfully put together with great toppings and a delicious bun. It's not always easy to find a truly satisfying vegan option in a pub, but this one exceeded expectations. The veg soup was also really good--comforting, hearty, and clearly homemade. And the salad greens were incredibly fresh and crisp, which added a nice, light balance to the meal. Great food, friendly service, and a lovely setting. I'd definitely come back next time I'm in Dingle!

We were seated at a nice booth, and next to an interesting group of folks speaking French. Our waitress was fun and engaging, even when she told us that they were out of Smithwicks. I gladly chose a glass of Rockshore Lager instead. My Lunch choice was an Open Ploughman, as it looked interesting and wanted to avoid yet another Irish meal featuring potatoes. That was pretty tasty, as was Gayle's Prawn and Salmon dish. Nice place!

Our dinner was a welcome alternative to classic Irish cuisine. We made reservations, arrived early, and were seated promptly. They have a time limit on the tables, and very generous by American standards. Our wait staff were friendly, helpful, and there when we needed them. We found the atmosphere to be warm, comfortable, relaxed, friendly, and rustic. It was also cool to peak into the Kitchen and watch one of the owners in made-to-order action. One thing about tapas/pintxos restaurants is that 2 things sneak up on you as you continue to order small plates: the overall bill and how full you become before you know it. For the 4 of us, our total came out to 161 Euros (including a 12.5% service charge), which I thought was a good value for the quality of food and drinks received. Our choices included 4 different glasses of wine from a very nice list, with prices ranging from 10-16 Euros. We also had 1 coffee and 3 Herbal teas at the end. In between, our food choices were: - Grilled Sour Dough, Confit Cherry Tomatoes & Dingle Sea Salt + Extra - Roasted Almonds - Crisp O Connors Spuds "Bravas Style" Manchego & Aioli - Chorizo Sausage - Chorizo & Manchego Croquette, Aioli, Dingle Sea Salt - Fig Tempura, Dingle Goats Cheese, Peppered Honey - Potato Hash We enjoyed all our choices, with the only one comment that the croquette was a bit rich for our pedestrian tastes. We'd gladly come back to explore the menu further, which probably changes from time to time.

I had the Fish Pie: salmon, cod, smoked haddock in white wine cream sauce topped with mash(ed potatoes). It had plentiful fish and was served very hot. I liked the variety of fish. The smokiness from the haddock complemented the simpler flavors of the cod and salmon. Potato topping was slightly browned under the broiler. The fries were good. This also came with another excellent pre-dressed small green salad and good coleslaw: light on the mayonnaise, tangy, and peppery. The wife had the fish and chips and I thought it the best of at least 3 we've had in Ireland. The batter was consistently crunchy, thickness appropriate for the fish, and the portion generous. Again, served with sides of the same green salad and coleslaw, and more mushy peas. I think the wife likes these more than I do. The server was welcoming, the surroundings inviting, and we spent a relaxing 35 minutes or so and, refreshed, continued our walking tour. Sadly didn't get to try the Sticky Toffee Pudding because we had planned on ice cream down the street. Looking at the website just now I see they have rooms upstairs. One described as "Cute Apartment" and the other as "Cosy Flat". Probably worth checking out if you're considering a stay in Dingle.

We tried the Dingle single malt signature - smooth and intense. The fish pie was our consolation prize after the fish and chips were sold out. Delicate, golden topped pastry over a bed of mashed potatoes with creamy fish in what is like a pot pie, was piping hot. It was served with a side salad, cole slaw and chips. Chips were very good. We shared a beetroot salad, which was excellent with yummy garlic bread. Sticky toffee pudding was the finale. It was good, not great. The edges were a little dry and the dough was coarse, not smooth and velvety as I hoped because of others I have had in the past elsewhere. The waitress saved us the last piece since she heard us talk about it. That was extra nice! Good atmosphere and service, good drinks.

Either way the name and exterior was super cute it drew me inside. The inside is super welcoming and cozy. A nice vibe. Staff were very friendly and they make all of the food fresh to order. I wish I would have indulged in a cupcake or pastry but wasn't hungry. Opted for a raspberry smoothie which was pretty tasty. It was nice seeing all of the fresh fruit and produce being chopped away behind the counter. The actual bowls looked amazing! A gal was dining inside and it looked phenomenal. They must spend a pretty penny on getting some of their ingredients. I didn't think Ireland would be prone to having avocados but they had huge chunks in one of the bowls I saw. Also the restaurant just smelled fantastic with the different spices and such. This spot is a really cool place to come in Dingle. Love seeing some diversity in these small towns for those that want a break from the traditional fare.

The chef(s) should be very proud of this one. The wagyu burger sent me to another realm. The party must've had minced onion or seasoning mixed into the meat which gave flavor in every single bite. SERVICE Delightful and welcoming servers. They were on it with replenishing drinks and asking how everything was. AMBIANCE From the outside, the place appears very unassuming. It's nothing that will catch your eye, but if a local or guide is kind enough to tell you about this place, you're in for a treat. Based on a recommendation, we made sure to add Boatyard to our itinerary while visiting Dingle. We grabbed a late lunch, both got fish and chips, and one of us got a cocktail. The fish and chips were tasty, not the best I've ever had. The fish was well fried and flaky sided with your standard chips/fries served with ketchup and house made tartar sauce, which was honestly the best part of the dish! Service was friendly and welcoming from entry to exit. The space is cute with a large main dining room up front with lots of natural lights and large windows looking g at the bay. There is a cozier dining room inside, along with two outdoor spaces once more formal than the other. The front patio looks great, but sadly du to weather and season, it was closed. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at The Boatyard. Definitely recommend it when in Dingle!

As we waited the tables started to fill up and, while hesitant about the reviews we read, we were encouraged by the number of people arriving. We enjoyed our drinks and thankfully got our order taken before the large group of 12 beside us and 3 other tables. While the appetizer came quickly. Our main courses didn't arrive until after ALL the other tables had ordered, were served and most of the people had finished their meals! During this period we were checked on once and were assured our meals were on their way. Then ignored. When we mentioned the extraordinarily long time that we waited and was told there was nothing they could do but apologize......a complimentary dessert....a drink on the house. Nothing! Service: inattentive and uncaring Food: Calamari was tender but the lettuce on the salad was wilted on old Tortellini tasteless and barely warm Mussels overcooked and gritty but the sauce was tasty. Served with a piece of soda bread that was cold from refrigeration. Atmosphere: Nice view, with outside seating if weather permits, it is a very noisy restaurant due to the acoustics of the interior's design. A very disappointing dining experience and a very sad experience for our first night in Dingle. Not at all worth the price paid! There are plenty of seafood restaurants. Skip this one.
