My boyfriend and I really enjoyed this experience! We signed up for the 2 hour holiday ornament glass blowing class at the of October not really knowing fully what to expect. I believe I talked to Mark on the phone when I made the reservation and he was super friendly and gave us a discount off the groupon price which was great :) We ended up having the class to ourselves due to a cancellation. I think our instructor was Will (I'm awful with names, I'm so sorry!) and he was real laid back, patient and informative. He made the experience very enjoyable and we learned some cool stuff in the process. In the end, with a lot of coaching and some help, we made some pretty icicles. Will demonstrated for about 15-20 mins but was hands off when we worked unless he saw that we (aka me) were struggling a bit. He showed us how to experiment with colors while we worked. We cut colored glass and used Elmer's glue to glue it to a glass frame. It was very arts and crafty on a 7 year olds level. It gave me insight on how my time will be spent at the nursing home when I'm not being neglected by the orderlies or being beaten. I thought it was gonna be more on the stained glass side of it. Purchased a LivingSocial deal for a glass blowing class here and LivingSocial had the wrong address posted for this class so I obviously did not make it to my scheduled class. Called to reschedule and Mark stated that he hadn't worked with LivingSocial for over two years and it was my fault I went to the wrong address. He was not flexible in rescheduling for me and was actually quite rude. His final advice was to call LivingSocial and get my money back. Obviously, I will never attend one of his classes with this type of customer service and I hope this review deters others from having a similar ordeal. read more

Paid for a 2-hour class through Groupon for two. I thought it would make a good way to spend an evening and entertain myself and my wife. I found the class boring and overall disappointing. The teacher appeared to me quite unclean, rude and disheveled, and not in an artsy or entertaining kind of way. The title "glass blowing" is hugely misleading. There is no glass blowing to be done. Glass blowing is only for "advanced" students who sign up for multiple classes. As one-time class takers, we spent about 50% of the time watching the instructor Mark twist a small glass rod over a gas blowtorch. He looked like he hated the job. There was absolutely nothing for us to do, no hands-on work, during the entire first hour. He did not offer stools or chairs. We basically had to stand by a messy work bench, keep quiet and watch him tinker with glass scraps while he talks mindlessly about how difficult this was and how he had been doing it for 15 years. It was annoying and frustrating to say the least. The guy is not the type who cracks jokes or makes you feel welcome. He had more of a drill sergeant personality and gets easily ticked off. Maybe he was just in a bad mood that day. But to me he came through as a complete jerk. In the second hour, we got to twist glass rods over the torch on our own. That's why I give it two stars. I think the epxerience has potential to be entertaining if it was designed around beginners and done with a different instructor in a more relaxed kind of way. We made a couple of simple glass objects which had to stay and bake in a kiln overnight. You can pick them up the following day. There was a basket by the door with dozens of pieces from customers who apparently never came back to pick up theirs. At the end, my back hurt from standing for 2 hours in a static position. I would never do this class again, nor I have any desire to meet this teacher again. read more

Beware! Unprofessional and Shady! Paid for class via Groupon and called and scheduled. Day of class I was placed in hospital and neglected to contact Juggernaut. Once I recovered, called and left message explaining my situation and asking if I could catch another class that had been paid for. I received a reply via text informing me I neglected to call and therefore was not able to take class. Fair enough, if that's the policy, my bad HOWEVER I was then accused of lying and was informed that class would be honored if I brought medical records proving my recent stay in hospital! I'm a 47 year old professional and was being accused of lying and being treated like a child! I'm no longer interested in class nor refund and will take my money to businesses who don't accuse customers of lying and being shady as the way they do business. You've been warned! Highly inflexible. Poor customer service. Booked a Groupon and they had several open spaces on their calendar for the weekend. They refused to honor Groupon deals without two weeks notice although I mentioned I had family in only for this upcoming weekend. Odd way to lose $300 just because of where it is coming from. Will not book here nor recommend. Bad experience. Beware the owner is rude and will continue to harass you on text. I've had to block the number.
