We both enjoyed checking out all the booths and artists, with Jen having her favorites and same with me. Loved learning about their passion, especially Sue Thompson and the husband/wife glass blowers. Jen liked the Italian landscapes and nature photos. I picked up a small photo of Jackass Penguins forming a heart for both Jen and I. I felt it symbolized us in a way. The food lines were a bit long, but we did get some green tea that was refreshing on a hot/humid day. We look forward to coming back or at least checking out the local galleries.

If you plan to park in the Sawdust lot, I'd recommend getting there very early. We had no trouble finding parking about an hour before Sawdust opened, then grabbed breakfast nearby. There are also cheaper lots within walking distance. I did find the prices to be very expensive overall. You have to pay to park, to get in, pay for food and drinks, pay for the art, and so on. There was even a tip jar in the very clean bathrooms! I'm not sure if this is because it's an expensive area or just a reflection of the current economy, but I definitely felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed. If you're just going to look around, you can get away with only paying the entry fee and parking. I was disappointed to find that not all of the artists were there, and the policies regarding purchasing art at the front of Sawdust weren't very clear and seemed to vary from booth to booth.

Today I had the wonderful opportunity conversing with the homeowner again he loves to share how he made each individual character from common items, such as washtubs, potato sacks, Water cans, etc. He mentioned that he does it for the community, especially the children. Furthermore, I found out today that as we grow closer to Christmas / winter holiday the outdoor decorations transitions/change into more of a Christmas theme (as the movie itself does) And as we get closer to December 25, he's going to put up a Christmas tree, and then the stockings! I love slowly driving by here, especially with a passenger, who's never seen the house before and is shocked at how beautifully done it is! In conclusion, we give Much thanks to the homeowner and the neighborhood for having this heartfelt display for all to enjoy !

For years we hoped to stop by, but life kept getting busy and we never quite made it--until now. On our very first visit, we were lucky enough to meet the homeowners themselves. They generously walked our four kids through each creation and section, encouraging them to ask questions and even sharing their own favorite parts of the movie that inspired it all. Watching our kids light up during that interaction made the experience even more special. What makes this display even more incredible is knowing that every single character in the yard is handcrafted by the homeowners themselves. The time, care, and love poured into this display is undeniable. A truly magical experience created by genuinely amazing people. We are so grateful we finally made the visit--and it's now a holiday memory our family will cherish.

When getting the tickets, the lady helping us was so nice! We got our audio tour and started along the way. It really was beautiful and full of history! It's as old as the country! The audio tour and plaques along the way provided a lot of information and we spent at least 2 hours here wandering around and taking everything in, you could easily spend more time than that here. Beautiful grounds and it was amazing to see the original and uncovered structures that existed so long ago. You end up at the gift shop at the end and we left with a postcard and a magnet for home. Very reasonable prices in there and some cute things! Overall we had an amazing time and would love to visit other missions. Give this one a go!

The restaurant inside is beautiful, it's done in beautiful shades of red accented with white furniture. The walls are adorned with pictures of past and present Hollywood stars. We started our dining experience with a shared Cesar salad, my boyfriend ordered the lobster ravioli as his entree and I opted for the mushroom chicken, the portions were ample and seasoned perfectly. For dessert we shared the Grand Marnier soufflé, the Soufflé is a show stopper and must order, it was beautiful and served elegantly by Domenico the owner. After dinner we sat at the bar for after dinner cocktails and enjoyed the live Jazz music. The service at this restaurant is Impeccable, the weight staff are like magical fairies, you never have to ask for anything, your glasses are automatically filled, if you leave the table, your napkin is re-folded and dinner plates are cleared promptly after you have finished dining. The Red Room is Old Hollywood Glamour, Orange County has needed a restaurant like this and it has finally arrived. Congratulations to Domenico and his staff. We will definitely return.

But my kids love coming here for all of their claw games and decent selection of arcade games in the back. It's a great place to reward kids for behaving while spending the afternoon shopping. If you put the seats all the way back, the dinner tray kind of cuts off your view. Weirdly enough, they didn't even check our tickets when we arrived. We literally could have just walked in. It is supposed to be the top of the top the best of the best when it comes to in theatre movies. Unfortunately it does not live up to its promise as well as it should. The aisles in the theater are incredibly small for the servers to get through so you were constantly moving your legs. The recliners are good, but now that everybody has fancy movie recliners they are not the top of the line anymore. Food and drinks are very expensive and only just OK. They do make very good popcorn but again, very expensive. It is also very difficult to book tickets as the theaters are small and they have very limited offerings. And tickets are, again, on the more expensive side. Overall, if we feel like not driving far or have eaten dinner in the area and get lucky enough to grab a last minute ticket, this is a theater we go to. but it is not our favorite theater
