This was the most bizarre and unprofessional therapy I have ever experienced. She has no business…read morehelping families. Our therapy was court ordered for our kids to reunify with their mom. They are estranged from her and without going into details this woman immediately took their moms word over their experiences. Kids were 17 when these sessions went on. Young adults. The kids were stunned at how this woman would sway from understanding to calling them liars because "its been 4 years, your mom has to have changed, all you're saying cant be true" Or, "I know your dad said bad things about your mom because he told me he did" Outright lie. When my son asked her "really? what did he say?" she stumbled over her words and told him, "well, you should ask your dad." wth!?!?!?! I could go on and on with examples but I am getting angered just typing this. Oh, and her office was an absolute mess with candy and open Oreo package on the coffee table. That says a lot.

Tracey was unprofessional, often eating in front of us, not even wearing shoes and was partial to the parent who "got to her first." She was very opinionated with no real concern for what was going on with my 9 year old daughter, in fact causing my daughter further turmoil as a result of our sessions with her. Then charged us hundreds of dollars for a court report which was plagued with lies and inaccuracies. Beyond disappointed with her services, feeling taking our money was her only real concern.

I have been seeing Alex for a few years for EMDR for complex trauma. We were tackling issues that…read morehave been entrenched for decades despite lots of past therapy. I feel in her a kindred spirit and she has had great empathy for my experience. I was surprised we didn't do a lot of actual eye movement but we did do a lot of what she calls resourcing which is basically using cognitive restructuring to build the resiliency framework necessary to do the harder work. She kept telling me to hang in there and trust the process. All I can say is, what we have been doing, has been effective beyond my wildest imaginings. I am so much more resilient and confident in my ability to handle challenges than I used to be. I was able to move from therapy into a serious Zen practice that has deepened my understanding of all the mind-body awareness things she has talked about over the years. Some issues I thought I would be living with for the rest of my life seem to have vanished. I don't even need weekly therapy anymore. It's true she does cancel a lot but my schedule has always been pretty flexible and she's always been willing to accommodate things that come up for me. When my son was diagnosed with a disability she was also able to pivot the focus of therapy and provide that support until I found another specialist in that area. She has a very flexible and receptive approach to therapy that works very well for me. I would recommend her to anyone with complex trauma as well as mothers of young children - she gets it!

Which is where we seem to be headed, without seeing a single bill. Keep in mind, therapy was March - June. I'm happy to report my partner is seeing a wonderful, caring, compassionate therapist now. One who actually shows up. Ironically, this therapist knew Alex. How? From the onslaught of patients that leave her neglectful practice to seek therapy elsewhere.
