An absolutely amazing location for physical therapy! Kate, Rachel, Cooper, Lauren, Noel, Claire,…read more(I'm sure I'm missing some) are all amazing physical therapists and technicians that really get you back on track. Whether it's for physical injuries or if you're going through some mental health struggles that are causing physical injuries. My reason for registering myself here (still registered here while writing this) was due to anxiety and stress causing issues in my head, neck and shoulders which all around effected my wellbeing. From my very first appointment (the consultation), I felt very comfortable with the service I'd receive here. I was able to explain all of my issues and even get some relief on the first day! I received my first work out plan too and it was sent to an app that they work with to be able to do your work outs outside of your appointments (MedBridge GO). I started coming twice a week, and I had the same therapist, Kate, for a few appointments and moved to Rachel. Both are amazing and provide great advice, relief for the muscle tenseness that I have, and even encouragement/talk therapy that I'll be okay and get back to normal! You do your workouts here too and they change from time to time (difficulty increases or to work out different muscles) and the support you get is like clock work here! During busy times of the day, I'll have 2 to 4 different Techs trading off my workouts to assist me. So I'm never standing around waiting, I always have support. Everyone is energetic, funny, supportive and any other positive thing I can think of to make physical therapy a physical improvement, but also a mental one too. It's going to be sad when this comes to an end, but that means they did a great job! The staff here are the best of the best!

After coming down with the flu I ended up taking myself to urgent care. I ended up at another…read moreunrelated urgent care and waited approx. 30 minutes with no end in sight. I felt like I was going to die so I hopped in my car looking for the closest urgent care or hospital. I initially drove by Concentra because the only other time I have been there was to take pee samples for jobs. I'm glad I turned around to stop in there. There was only a couple people in the waiting room when I got there. I filled out the paperwork and the lady that greeted me asked what the problem was and was caring. I asked to be brought to a room immediately in case I vomited or otherwise... And shown the location of the nearest bathroom. They didn't have a problem with this even though there were a two other people there (from my best guess waiting for pee samples to be taken). I was able to lay down in the room in a comfortable position while I waited for a doctor to see me. There wasn't much they could do for me since its the flu. This was my first experience to it ever. The doctor was compassionate and friendly. She took her time and still checked me for any other possible issues. My BP and other vitals were checked by another lady and she couldn't have been more friendly herself. When I was leaving another staff member led me out and offered me a water to take home. He was also sympathizing with me about catching the flu and wished me well several times. This was extremely appreciated since I knew there wasn't much try could do for me but made me as comfortable as possible. This was my first time going there for any kind of medical issue and I am for now on going to make this my go to spot for care.

First off the medical assistants are in street clothes dealing with blood and other bodily fluids…read more The MA didn't know how to draw blood. Argumentative when I told her where my vein was. Then she goes to get another medical assistant. This person does have scrubs on but..... doesn't know how to properly use a needle. She draws my blood, pulls the needle out and gives it to the girl in street clothes. She's trying to figure out what to do with the needle. ITS A BUTTERFLY! HIT THE DAMN BUTTON. It retracts!!!So you idiots don't get stuck. There was nothing professional about this place. Street clothes in a clinical environment??) Let's you know what kind of manager is allowing that.

Unisource was the facility where Dr. G did my surgery and it was great. Dr. Guettler was such an amazing Orthopedic Surgeon. He walked me through the process and was very good with explaining what I needed and what to expect with my recovery. He also was great when it came to my post care follow up. He made sure I was 100% before sending me back to work. I'm so glad I decided to go to the Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons Group and Dr. Guettler! If you're dealing with a sports medicine injury you Definitely should consider going to Michigan Orthopedic Surgeons Group and Dr. Guettler!!

I notified the front desk that since I would not be present at his appointment that I'd like to speak to the new physical therapist to get to know her and ask how the session went. I never received a phone call. After speaking to the therapist, my response was "Well, we don't give out patient information." I reminded her that I'm the patient's parent and he's 5 months old. Speaking to the office manager led to me being told that we missed three appointments (we missed two) and that we would no longer be able to come back. Not happy.

This is my 2nd go round with Thrive. I'm seeing the PT's now for a bad back / piriformis problem…read more All of the PT's here are highly qualified with additional education and specialties. The 3 I've seen so far all have Doctorates in PT, and one has gone on to get specialized training in massage and rolfing. They will spend the first visit assessing the problem area and then will work with you to come up with a program to improve the problem, address the pain and strengthen the area. They've moved to a new space which is quite nice. It's a large open space with all the needed equipment to work with you. Mario the owner has done a great job with making it look welcoming while also being functional. The front desk staff is efficient and will help you get scheduled, make sure your insurance is covering you and will send you your bills / receipts to your phone or email. All and all an efficient operation. I made the mistake of trying a different place recently and it did not go well - the scheduling, insurance approval, communication was all done poorly - so this is something not to be taken lightly!

One of many things that make this business stand out is that the entire team works together and is in direct communication with each other through out the recovery process. When you walk in you are immediately enchanted by the indoor garden area which features several areas of seating including tables and benches. The sense of community is evident in the fact that they offer a restaurant, gym, library, theatre, recreation room, an onsite store and vocational room. I was also impressed by the fact that they help patients bring their creative passions to life by guiding them through the process of starting their own business. I even had the opportunity to check out one such passion in the form of tee shirts for people with brain injuries. This was only one of the many cool and unique features that is offered at Life Skills Village. Another unique program worth mentioning is one that kicks off on Thursdays in the months of March and April. It is called 'Thursday Night Social Events' and features nights of karaoke, billiards, trivia, crafts and a euchre tournament. Hats off to this traumatic brain injury rehabilitation center for their patient and team focused approach as well as their attention to detail in recreating reality in a safe environment.
