You know when you're on the bus surrounded by people who smell like vegetable soup and stale beer?…read more And then, this one guy gets on, and you can tell he's not from here. He's got to be European or something, judging by his strange shoes and the way he carries that stylish man purse with confidence. And you're intrigued. How did this man get here... on a dirty city bus with all of these people, who are clearly not as worldly and dashing as he is? That's what the Natural Harvest Food Co-op is like. Now, don't get me wrong. I don't think Virginia, MN, is the equivalent of a dirty, stinky bus. There are hard working, genuine, honest people there. The thing is, they eat at McDonald's and consider "organic" to mean that the chemicals used weren't disallowed by the FDA until the 1990s. Natural Harvest Food Co-op just doesn't fit the profile is what I'm saying here. And, yet. There it is. A natural food co-op in the middle of a small heartland town. It's an anomaly I was glad to find when my family went looking for organic milk and healthy snacks while camping nearby. Five stars for the vast array of choices, the friendly staff, and the fact that it blew my flippin' mind to find it there.

Super One is one of those must have places. Like all good grocery stores this one is strictly food…read moreso your not off buying items like a new tv, or movie, or new clothes....nope this place is good. Super One often has great prices on produce, meat, and dairy. The wife and I love making salads and have growing kids who live off of cereal and milk, so those deals on milk our always good haha the service from the people who work here are great, they smile, they get to know you, and soon you can call them out by name when you see them. I believe my only complaint about this store like many others, they are forcing people to go to self check out because 1. They are too short handed, or 2. They are eliminating check out by their own staff, which in my opinion is wrong. The industries that are eliminating jobs from people so that people will check themselves may be the way of the future, but I enjoy the interaction between the staff and customers. It makes me come back to shop there. Other then that, Super One is a good place to shop, it's nice to know where most things are from being a frequent shopper, but if I didn't I know I can rely on the staff to help me find anything in the store. The ambiance is clean, always busy, and good deals are all around! Can't wait go back which I'm sure will be soon! Auto service I got a flat tire and rep refused to fix it…read moresince all tires were getting bold. They changed all tires to new ones. I was ok with that. When I got back to my car Honda 2000 I noticed that the sign Tire low pressure was still on. I asked them to fix it. They said it will disappear after 20 minutes of driving. After two days of driving the sign was still on. I went back and the Manager offered help. He sat in my car with some book and some small equipment which he connected to the car. After 10 minutes I gave up. Obviously he didnt know how to eliminate the sign. I went home, open Youtube and got instructions how to calibrate it. It took me 10 seconds to fix it. A few items, regionally made, are available here, but not Walmart. Wally World might be less expensive on a lot of things, but not all. The convenience of Super One is nice, and WAY less items randomly placed on shelves by people too lazy to return them to where they picked them up. Walmart does not make keys anymore - instead allows a self service machine to make them - that they claim to have no understanding of. This machine malfunctioned and took my money and made me no keys. Staff were empathetic and tried to help (I feel for them they are so understaffed). I was hoping for actual help from the "coach" - or AT A MINIMUM to place an "out of order" sign so no more customers would be robbed. Refused to do so and agreed with me that he "did not care" if other customers were robbed. I said I was not shopping there again - he said in a snarly tone "I am sure we will see you here again". NOPE. Since you have an Aldies in your parkinglot, Loew, other grocery stores and drug stores close by, and with Consumer Reports stating there are at least 6 grocer stores with lower prices than Walmart - perhaps this is not the time to treat customers like excrement.
