Whether it is a last minute dump before April 15th like last years (SORRY), or wanting to make up for that experience, Ralph and his employees have always been able to do a very thorough, quick job and continuously make sure no penny goes undeducted. He and his firm's work leaves a sizable surplus in my wallet year round, and it is solely thanks to his wonderful firm that I look forward to this time of year in general. My parents used this company to file their taxes for a few years and only dealt with Sergio so we can't attest to the demeanor or services of any of the other accountants. During the time Sergio worked with my parents he overcharged and wasn't upfront about how he was completing their taxes. Because my parents are getting older they began reviewing their retirement plan. It's a good thing they did because in reviewing their social security retirement benefits they noticed some mistakes. SSA and the IRS were contacted and as a result, they determined that the problem years were when they had gone to Sergio for help with their taxes. My parents, desperate to fix this issue, contacted Sergio for assistance since he was the one who had helped with those filings. Instead of helping, Sergio added further stress and frustration to their situation. He denied them assistance and refused to even meet with him. My parents are now forced to see another accountant to review all the years Sergio did their taxes and fix the issue. Not only did Sergio charge my parents an arm and a leg, but now they have to pay to fix all the mistakes he made. This place is not recommended. It takes advantage of people, has shady practices, and leaves people to fend for themselves. read more

Sergio Zarate Took advantage of me and my four sisters. Charged at least $190 for each individual tax return. Even though I barely made $9,000 and only used w-2's. I've never felt so taken advantage of. I could of use those $140 on groceries, gas, or books. read more

Ralph has been our tax accountant for many, many years. He is up to date on the latest tax laws and is very thorough with explaining our tax situation. He has a satellite office in Oakdale to meet the needs of his customers in that area. He has well over a thousand clients but takes the time to meet with who he can. We spent close to an hour with him today, most of that just catching up on family news. I almost feel guilty about taking much of his time, especially during tax season!
