This is a chain fast food with no drive thru. Think of chipotle only you can get burritos, tacos, and quesadillas not just a bowl As with most places like this it really doesn't deserve more than 3 stars. Tried this place while on vacation. It had really good reviews on both DoorDash and Yelp. I will say the food was decent but honestly just average Mexican food. We had a group of six so we're able to try multiple dishes (the nachos, the tacos, burritos, etc) and while no one had anything bad to say I don't think anything was truly amazing either. We did find the menu to be a bit limited and were hoping that as a result of the limited choices everything would be amazing, but that wasn't really our experience. I don't want to dissuade anyone from going though. I'll say if you have a hankering for Mexican, this place will do the trick. read more

I love me some tacos... and burritos and nachos and... you get it. My husband thought we should get Mexican food out for Cinco de Mayo instead of making our regular tacos so we looked for a place that had something we would both like. My husband loves a taco salad with a fried shell bowl and I love spicy food. When I saw that they had the kind of taco bowl he likes and spicy chicken as a meat choice we were in. We ordered online and had a set time to pick up (6pm). We were so glad we preordered! When we arrived, it was ready pretty quickly and my husband was able to go in the side door dor pick ups. When we left the line to order was the length of the plaza. The food was fresh and delicious! The burrito bowl was packed with goodness, so much so that I have lunch for tomorrow! Always amazing service, food, and fair prices. After the first time going here I decided that I liked it more than chipotle not only because it is a family owned business, but it actually tasted fresher. If you get tacos you get free chips they are very generous with the salsa and sour cream containers on the side.My dad still thought chipotle was better after trying it once until he tried it again, let's just say we never went to chipotle again lol. If I had any complaint, it would be that $1.50 seems a little steep for the size of the guacamole container. It's sooo good. The employees are so nice. So, I came here because the receptionist at Joyful Motion recommended them. First off, this place reminds me of Moe's Southwest Grill except, in my opinion, their ingredients taste better. We came in just as they opened so it was empty which meant quiet and clean. Their staff was very friendly. Their menu is simple, like Moe's, and reasonably priced for a similar restaurant. I ordered the burrito bowl with their spicy steak which is very good. I liked how fresh the ingredients are and the combination that I chose. My daughter got the kids taco meal which came with a taco, chips, and a drink. While I didn't indulge, they also serve a limited selection of beer and wine and some desserts (which I am tempted to try after my meal). If you have a hankering for Mexican food, then Juan's is definitely somewhere you want to make a stop! Great food and a great atmosphere! read more

The burritos, burrito bowls, taco salads, tacos and other Mexican items are variants of the same dishes available on both menus. Fresh food is prepared and available after you tell them what you want. Once you've made your decision of item, then you add either beans or rice, the meat, and all the veggie toppings, sour cream and Guac (available for a surcharge). Wow! If you are a fan of burrito-style Mexican restaurants, this one will exceed your expectations. All extremely fresh ingredients-delicious rice and chicken. Lots of choices: brown rice, yellow rice, black beans, pinto beans, chicken, spicy steak, pork, ground beef, all the taco fixings. I watched them make fresh taco shells as they fixed my burrito. I have been coming here for a long time, and I have two issues. Today I witnessed the older Hispanic man that works there wiped down all of the surfaces with a dirty rag, wearing gloves, and then proceeded to make mine and other customers food with the SAME gloves (touching tortillas, sticking his hand into the toppings, etc.) This is like cross-contamination 101. This should not be happening, especially at a time like this. My second issue is the soda machine, 3 times in a row I got a drink from it, and there were black dots in my drink, likely mold. I now bring my own drink or purchase one of the bottled ones they have. I really want to give this place a glowing review because the young ladies and young guy who work there are very pleasant and sanitary. After today, I will probably not return and just wait for the Oldsmar location to open and hope they are cleaner over there. read more

As a Mexican and knowing what Mexican food is, this place is a joke. It's more of a cheap knock off of Moe's which isn't Mexican either. Their chips are decent, the salsas are gross. I'd rather eat pace picante. The spicy shredded steak is poor quality, mushy and just not steak. The guacamole is ok at best. Carmelitas is very much superior in taste and quality. read more
