She visited a well known transmission dealer in town and the manager told her she needed a new transmission to the cost of $4000. The owner of Advent said the problem is in one or both solenoid switches and she didn't need a new transmission. She was relieved! The car spent a night and by the next day when an attempt to start it was made, the transmission would not lock in gear. The problem was diagnosed and repaired for $250. This beautiful dog was left behind when the owners of a business chose to relocate. He lived inside…read morethat crappy pen for two years. When they left, they put him outside the pen and locked the gate. He had no food and no water. It has been raining, he was wet, he was cold, he was scared, and he may have been in danger because many people thought he was aggressive. He was on N Memorial Parkway in Huntsville, which is a notoriously dangerous area for a dog to be unattended. Thankfully the dog is now secure at a vet, is getting checked out, and someone has stepped up that is familiar with the dog who is going to adopt it. That does not mean that Huntsville Automotive Service should get a free pass for doing this. They are now at their new location. I would suggest DO NOT DO BUSINESS with anyone who thinks this kind of behavior is acceptable! I would like to think that criminal charges will be pressed, however I doubt they will be in this case.
