I was honestly very surprised and the fact that she was able to schedule me in the same week for a deep clean was also on the plus. We recently moved in to a home in Oxnard and sadly the previous owners didn't believe in Cleaning, the women who came to clean took their time and cleaned every inch of that mess left behind. Scheduled a cleaning service for my apartment and no one ever showed up. No call, no answer when I tried to call multiple times, including messaging them on yelp. Even took the day off of work for them to clean. Take your business literally anywhere else other than these people. If I could give them zero or negative stars I would. read more

I used JTs cleaning service on 12/8/17 for a move in clean and carpet cleaning. I was not in town at time of cleaning or after but had my MIL let them in and quick check after. When I first contacted my message let them know that It was a 2/2 house and high ceilings. When they got to the house I was call and told that they didn't know if they could do it because they 'didn't know they were that high'. A ladder was offered to them and then I was told cobwebs got taken care of no worries. Total time cleaning crew was at the house was almost exactly 2 hours. Owner was nice and accommodating to download a new form of payment for me to pay her without my presence. When I arrived in the house the next day upon starting to unload all of my moving boxes I kept noticing areas that were dirty. Outsiders of cabinets had sticky splatter on them. Corners of the kitchen had gunk caked up. I used a clean wipe to get a spot on the floor and the whole wipe was filthy. This shouldn't have been the case right after the floors were supposed to be cleaned the previous day. I've noticed cobwebs with little dead bugs behind ALL of the doors and around the frames and behind the toilet seat. This was an extremely rushed job. No attention to detail was made, and this house did not need a lot of work just a good go through so I did not have to worry about cleaning while unpacking. I messaged the owner when I was noticing the kitchen being unclean and she offered to have her crew come back out in 2 days, I told her it was too much of a hassle with unpacking and I was already recleaning myself, she accepted my offer of asking for a partial refund of what she found as fair and would do that by end of the day. Before this could happen as I am unpacking more I keep finding new things that are not clean. I professionally let her know more of these issues and how I understand things can be overlooked but that this job was done very half assed and she should speak with her employees to gently remind them that this is unacceptable work for this many things to be left unlooked. Her communication was good with me throughout the process and she did offer me a 10% initial military discount so this is why I am giving a 1 Star for that aspect. As for the cleaning I am really disappointed in the work or lack there of. I was refunded $50 leaving me with wondering what I still paid $150 for them to do as I continue to mop my floors and clean my bathroom.. read more

Expensive & did a shocking job. When questioned they got very derogatory & not helpful at all but to try & get more money. Don't use them!!!

This is the third service I have tried since relocating to Ventura, and I am finally satisfied! Tanya is just so easy to communicate with. She always texts me the day before cleaning and upon arrival at my place (always right on time even though she knows I am at work and could be pretty flexible on time). She does a great job cleaning and is also very open to feedback even asking me if there is anything I would like done differently. One other thing that is very important to me - she listens to my instructions. I crate my cats for the cleaning and she always lets them out afterwards so I don't come home to grumpy kitties (this was hard for others to remember). On top of all of that, the price is more than fair so I have increased from every 3 weeks to a cleaning every other week. I would very highly recommend JT's Cleaning Service. read more

I was moving out of my house and sent JT's a message for a quote on a deep cleaning. Tanya got back to me really quickly, and was able to give a ballpark quote. I made an appointment and Tanya was great about communicating even sending me a reminder text to confirm. When I arrived to meet her, she was there early with all her supplies ready to go! She walked through the house with me to make sure we were on the same page as to what I wanted/needed done and kept the same quote! She had one of her employees come and take over from there, and although she took longer than estimated, she really did a great job. Tanya even followed up after to make sure everything was ok. I'm never one to really post horrible reviews because I know that everyone has off days. However this review is necessary. I used JT's cleaning services wanting to support a locally owned business. That's how I was raised. I'm not a nit picker and am very understanding in most all circumstances. I was really disappointed in my cleaning. There was dust in many places left, none of the furniture was truly wiped down so lots of smudges and grime left (yes I have children), nothing moved to wipe down, dust bunnies in most corners, dirt residue on floor (a swifter mop is what they use to professionally mop your floors). Honestly my home looked nothing different than when I left before the cleaning. I did contact the owner who came out that very next day (I commend her for this) however I pointed out the primary items and she said she was training a new girl, she's had several employees not return to work with her etc. I left and returned again the only things touched were those that I specifically pointed out (there was a list) and the residue left from the swiffer mop was so gross I ended up mopping myself again. I explained the primary needs before they started so my communication was kind and spot on. I really was paying for such horrible service. I chose to cancel my check and mailed a letter to their address explaining I felt very taken advantage of and would pay for their gas and some time but not the whole fee and I felt this completely fair. Today I receive a certified letter (3 months later) demanding payment!!!! I'm now angry and will be taking this matter to the BBB and Ventura county business Association. Very unprofessional and horrible taste after never responding to my letter to them/ calling or communicating at all! read more
