I recently had a water heater replaced. When I called inquiring about service to replace the water heater, the office girl who answered was very friendly and sounded with full of energy and happy. The friendly Tech Ekolu called to ask if he could come earlier since the prior job finished earlier. He alone swapped out the water heater and had me test the faucets in the house to make sure I had hot water. He stopped by the next day after his last job late in the afternoon to check if everything was working properly. There was a very small leak on top of the tank, so removed the intake pipe and applied Teflon tape. It wasn't because of his installation work, but the manufacturer's workmanship. I would highly recommend this family's business! read more

I had an unexpected water leak and couldn't get help from other plumbing companies on short notice. Junior's Plumbing came through when I really needed it. Laʻakea responded quickly, scheduled me within an hour, and arrived on time. He was professional, respectful, and efficiently stopped the leak without trying to upsell unnecessary work. Even though emergency rates on Kauai are high, I appreciated the transparency and fast service. I only needed the leak fixed that day, and he respected that. With guests arriving the next day, I was so relieved it was taken care of in time. Highly recommended for anyone needing prompt and reliable plumbing help on Kauai. They were able to get someone out within a few days and showes up exactly when they said they would. The plumber was professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He completed the job quickly and thoroughly. He provided additional information about what may need to be taken care of in the future should the repair not hold and tested his work before leaving. The price for the service was fair and the quality of the service was great. I was 100% satisfied and will use JR's again if I am in need of any type of plumbing services. read more

Considered some other plumbers and got some work done by one of them. That did not go well. One did not respond on two separate occasions. Another was just too difficult to get started with. So, it's been a relief to find Jr's Plumbing. Got a couple of jobs done with them. Both times Shawnita was very responsive and scheduled work quickly. Quotes were clear and reminders sent out. One time there was a slight delay on start, but she communicated and let me know. No problem. Laakea worked both times, efficient, professional, and courteous. The second job needed two people, and Ekolu came out, too, and continued with what I'd come to expect. If I were to characterize what it's like to work with Jr's Plumbing, it would be no friction, no drama. Everything about the experiences was smooth and easy. No hesitation. Going back to them with any future needs. read more

Best plumber on the Island. I've worked with 2nd generation for many years and now working with JR plumbing last few years. Most plumbers don't even return phone calls or provide personalized service anymore. J R Plumbing is responsive, is great at communication as well as being extremely competent, reliable and reasonably priced. read more

Fantastic company. Jr came out to make sure everything was set up and his crew was awesome. They went above and beyond my expectations and being a former plumber myself (back in the late 70's) I know how much work it is. The job turned out to be easier than expected and Jr's Plumbing saved me a hunch of money. Their flexibility in scheduling also made the job stress free for me. Hats off to this great local company and I will use them again for my renovations. read more
