I even got called up on stage and had some very interesting moments with Bastard Keith, which was captured by an artist stage side (you know I bought that sketch too). This time I went on a Saturday night and again bought reserved seating. I got another seat right up front. I don't think it was 85 dollars this time though, maybe more in the 60s range. Still 100 percent worth it. Again, it was laughter til tears rolled down my face. It was joy. It was love and acceptance. If you're not a prude and you need some respite from today's hard times, the slipper room is for you. Can't wait to go back again. Ignore the hater reviews. They have multiple acts every night and you can tell the performers work hard on them. They are impressive. If you don't like it, please get up there and YOU do it.

Each production has its own unique style and atmosphere, yet all are filled with incredible talent, artistry, and attention to detail that continually brings me back for the next show. The performances are mesmerizing, and the ambiance at the venue where I saw Queen of Hearts and Petite Rouge is stunning and immersive from the moment you walk in. Highly recommend experiencing Company XIV at least once - though chances are you'll want to return again. As both a designer and photographer, I also wanted to include a few photographs I took that capture some of the visual beauty of the performances and venue.

They have both a full bar and two seating areas. The entertainment was the main attraction. The cabaret and burlesque performers were great, and made it a real show. Not just a few pretty ladies walking around looking cute. It's a solid option for a dinner with a show. No complaints, I recommend.

They're standard prices, the bartenders have heavy hands which isn't a bad thing. The location is iffy but there it's in a hot, up-and-coming area. The DJs are always the best in NYC: Guetta, Tiesto, Deadmau5, Prydz, Disclosure, Aoki... yeah, Marquee is the only place that comes close and that place stinks. The setup here is great, the warehouse is massive and you don't feel crowded with 4-5k other people there. The sound system is crazy and the lighting is mesmerizing. Apparently the lines are rough, but I never had to deal with it. The parking situation is the toughest part here... come early or park on 3rd avenue. There's unbelievable food in Red Hook and Bay Ridge if you need a place to look.

We came to support our friends who were doing a show. They really pack people in and I'm good with paying to support the arts. For our friends' show, the cover was $35 each plus a two drink minimum with at least $20 required. We got drinks and two appetizers which were just okay but we weren't expecting gourmet fare. We got out of there for about $200 so a little pricey but it's nice to support artists. It's cash only so make sure you go before or else they send you to the sketchy ATM in the parking lot a couple of doors down and that charges a $4.75 fee. They are very good about notifying you that it's cash only, but bring more than you think you'll need.
