The inside of the ring had some tool clamp markings and discoloration from the plating not being finished correctly in the final process of rhodium plating. (I decided not to fault the designer due to such a fine piece being rushed on my husband's request to gift it to me in time, and this is why hand crafted pieces shouldn't be rushed) I took it to Joel and he went above and beyond for me to make my dream ring absolutely flawless and PERFECT! Shauna the owner discovered that it was actually cracked in two places and recommended that it be soldered in both places and that the band be rounded out as well. My ring guard came back looking as good as new in just under two weeks on the day it was promised, and Shauna even gave me a call to say it had arrived. When I put it on, Shauna noticed that my actual solitaire didn't sit right within the ring guard due to one of its prongs being damaged.
