I would rate them higher if I could! Outstanding customer experience.....had/have inventory in…read moremany iterations, no pressure, very nice facility. Spoke with April (mgr) who patiently answered all of my questions. Told her I was really leaning towards a Yamaha (more with that later). She said no problem, take your time, gave me her card and said to let her know if she could help further. Now to the "later": I was back in Minnesota (October) when I tried contacting Bargain Carts many times.....First phone call: put on hold forever with no pick up. Second time, a few days later) Joe (apparently their only salesman) was on vacation but Dave would leave him a message to call me when he returned. Never called back. several days later tried e mailing my request.....no response Called again the next day and was transferred to Walt, who is apparently their accountant ( Joe was there but not available to speak with me). Asked Walt if he could sell me a cart....."no, sorry I am just the accountant". Tried calling again a few days later, same routine.....put on hold only to have Dave come back and say Joe was not available. Being completely frustrated at this point I asked Dave (mgr) if he could help......what a smart Alec, told me that the cart I would like would cost me a few hundred, then he could really help me out! Then proceeded to tell me that the starting price was $200 higher than any of the identical ones I was viewing on their website stated. (They show sticker prices on the web site, but none of the vehicles are in stock and the website is never updated). Further, told me the speed upgrade would also be higher than Yamaha's own website states. I asked him if the owner was there, as I would like to speak with him/her. He wondered why, and I said I have given Joe and his company more than enough opportunities to help me, but all I get is poor/unethical service. I hung up the phone, and not fifteen minutes later......guess who calls? JOE!!! Well, I certainly wasn't going to talk with him.......he left a message telling me to call him back with any questions........needless to say I did not, and oh by the way......Never heard from the owner. Bottom line: don't bother with trying Bargain Carts for any/all of the reasons stated here. Just go to ART'S CARS where you will be treated fair and square. Purchased a Club Car! No charge for speed upgrade, no charge for delivery, no charge to outfit the cart with nicer wheels, and seats..... I could go on and on.

The staff even offered my an extra special, today only deal, but that was a turn off for me. I will not be pressured, the other turn off was these carts only will go up to 15 miles per hour, if Art could have increased the speed and made the deal for a couple days they may have earned my business, but alas they did not so one star had to be removed.

I recently had to replace some parts for my golf cart that I was having some difficulty finding. A…read morequick google search put me in touch with the very capable hands at Performance Plus Carts, in Auburndale, Fla. A quick (really quick) call to their 1-800 number and I was all set. The receptionist asked how she could help, and immediately went to work on my request. When she realized, (as I already had), that this was a tricky 'describe the parts' situation, she quickly transferred me to Mr. Parts himself, Matt in their parts dept. and less than five minutes later, I was looking at the part list and exactly what I needed. When 1 part subsequently was showing 'out of stock' when I ordered it later, I called again, and again I got a real person answering. These folks had already read my e-mail from late Fri evening on early Mon morning, and already had the back ordered part on order. NOTE: All businesses, large and small, could learn a lesson on customer service by doing these seemingly insignificant things that are really very significant to those of us needing the help! Answer the call, and get the caller in touch with the folks who can get the job done! Doing a great job drives super customer satisfaction, something I learned long ago and hopefully fashioned my 40y career doing. Many thanks to all the fine folks at Performance Plus Carts!

Was a simple solution and was nothing but professional and honest. Whats more important than honesty today! Thanks John and Performance Golf Carts! Don't take your cart elsewhere! We enjoy doing business with JR's. They have the best prices and never have felt they scammed us…read moreat all. We bought a new cart from them and had them do a last maintenance on our old one for our buyer. Everyone seems to know better than they do or their mechanics, they should then do it themselves.

I pointed out a golf cart in their showroom and asked for that color (Duke Blue with flakes). They said it would be done in a week and a half, maybe two weeks. After two weeks I called and they knew nothing about my golf cart but would "find it" for me. They called back and said they had no paper work on it but they did have my cart and it would be ready in a week. I called back in a week and they again said they knew nothing about it, had no paperwork, but would look into it. I told †hem I wanted a call back from the manager and was told "he'll call if he has time." He did call and apologized and let me know that the cart was ready but they scratched the new paint job while putting the roof back on. I got the cart after three weeks and it was not serviced and the color did not have the flakes. I paid them the asking price for the paint work minus 10%. They are the most disorganized company I have ever worked with and the people I spoke with by phone were rude, except for the manager, Corky. I would not recommend this business since there are many other companies that will do a better job with fewer if any hassles.

Within a week I found the cart had little power and the battery was discharging to need a recharge every 2 days with little usage. With 4 people on the cart and a slight incline the cart barely made it. I contacted Jenkins and was told they had no additional carts but will contact back. A week or so later they came by with another cart to use. This one had power to move 4 people. Unfortunately within a week I found the cart had no lights so contacted back and informed of no lights. A week or so later they sent a tech out and connected the lights. This worked a day until I realized the rear lights did not turn off so the battery would discharge, I had to disconnect the lights from the battery when not needing the light and reattached when needing the lights. Contacted Jenkins back, they were to fix the first cart and redeliver that. A week or so later they delivered a completely different cart, this one worked. Unfortunately the lights on this cart stopped working, checked the fuses and found the fuse block was corroded. Contacted Jenkins back, they were going to send the tech back but a week later no show, I contacted them back and told them not to bother as they were scheduled to pick up about 2 weeks later. This was throughout 3 months of use I had a fully usable cart for about 2 to 3 weeks. The people in the park I was at thought this was funny but sad. It is clear that Jenkins does not keep their carts in good working order. I cannot recommend them and would have to believe that a sale would be no different.
