Each time we asked we were given the name "Art's Carts," located in Dundee. Since I was busy, my wife and a good friend went to Art's Carts to look around. Five minutes later, I received a phone call from my wife who had already chose an EVolution golf cart and asked if I preferred red or Mediterranean blue. Arts had friendly staff, and a huge selection of golf carts. They were ready to make deals! They offer a newer brand golf cart, that has some beautiful features. The staff even offered my an extra special, today only deal, but that was a turn off for me. I will not be pressured, the other turn off was these carts only will go up to 15 miles per hour, if Art could have increased the speed and made the deal for a couple days they may have earned my business, but alas they did not so one star had to be removed. read more

And when it's time for service they pick it up, take it down to their shop - which has lifts, compressed air and all the good tools AND guys - and fix it, clean it, and polish wheels and tires. Unexpected experience! I was on my was to buy a used cart when I drive by Arts golf cars. I just stopped in to test a club car with no plans to buy new. As a sales trainer, I was led and educated and didn't feel sold at all! Art was so helpful even though I was in a bit of a rush. He gave me a great price, got things ready for me quickly, and he was straight up the whole time. The manager April was super helpful and kind. Their service team was incredible! Having never owned a cart before, Jason and Craig were service experts who answered my questions and made sure I understood how to best maintain the cart. They know their stuff! They serviced our cart about a month ago after the batteries that were only a year old from another cart place had installed a defective battery. They were fast and reasonable and knowledgeable. I will definitely be using them from now on for my golf cart needs. Before any work was done they approved it through us. The other place was supposed to have fixed the brakes and front end and the work had never been done even though it was paid for but Art's made it right for us. I would rate them higher if I could! Outstanding customer experience.....had/have inventory in many iterations, no pressure, very nice facility. Spoke with April (mgr) who patiently answered all of my questions. Told her I was really leaning towards a Yamaha (more with that later). She said no problem, take your time, gave me her card and said to let her know if she could help further. Now to the "later": I was back in Minnesota (October) when I tried contacting Bargain Carts many times.....First phone call: put on hold forever with no pick up. Second time, a few days later) Joe (apparently their only salesman) was on vacation but Dave would leave him a message to call me when he returned. Never called back. several days later tried e mailing my request.....no response Called again the next day and was transferred to Walt, who is apparently their accountant ( Joe was there but not available to speak with me). Asked Walt if he could sell me a cart....."no, sorry I am just the accountant". Tried calling again a few days later, same routine.....put on hold only to have Dave come back and say Joe was not available. Being completely frustrated at this point I asked Dave (mgr) if he could help......what a smart Alec, told me that the cart I would like would cost me a few hundred, then he could really help me out! Then proceeded to tell me that the starting price was $200 higher than any of the identical ones I was viewing on their website stated. (They show sticker prices on the web site, but none of the vehicles are in stock and the website is never updated). Further, told me the speed upgrade would also be higher than Yamaha's own website states. I asked him if the owner was there, as I would like to speak with him/her. He wondered why, and I said I have given Joe and his company more than enough opportunities to help me, but all I get is poor/unethical service. I hung up the phone, and not fifteen minutes later......guess who calls? JOE!!! Well, I certainly wasn't going to talk with him.......he left a message telling me to call him back with any questions........needless to say I did not, and oh by the way......Never heard from the owner. Bottom line: don't bother with trying Bargain Carts for any/all of the reasons stated here. Just go to ART'S CARS where you will be treated fair and square. Purchased a Club Car! No charge for speed upgrade, no charge for delivery, no charge to outfit the cart with nicer wheels, and seats..... I could go on and on. read more

We purchased a brand new card December of 2021. They have been out to our house 6 times to try and fix a huge noise. Finally determined the top was coming unriveted. Took it in and fix or repaired that and found a ton of other squeaks and fixed those. THen when returned to us, the motor is squeaking when you drive it. THey have had it in 6 times. Replaced the bearrings, replaced the axle, again replaced the axle, again replaced the bearings, then with it still squeaking, changed out the lube or oil to a thicker one. Now the cart still has a squeak now and then but now because they put thicker oil in it the motor has a wine. I have a electric/hybrid car and I can drive up behind someone and they have no idea I'm there. This cart sounds like I just pulled up to a gate in a airplane and they shut the engines off. Its so loud and winey. I'm done! I'm going to call and send a letter to the AG of Florida and maybe they will agree with me this cart is a lemon and I want my money back. Now to be fair, Arts have given me good service but over a 1 1/2 years dealing with a brand new card this is just unacceptable. I asked for a new cart but they won't do it. Now I just want my money back. I'll go else where. read more
